Pingtan County Hotels with Bars

Here's my short review! I'll be writing it right after my experience. I highly recommend it to everyone. It was a truly perfect stay, well worth the price. My baby's little exclamation upon entering the room and the stunning ocean view from the floor-to-ceiling windows were a real surprise. The room has a minimalist European design, and the sofa and bedding are incredibly comfortable. It's clear the owner is a stylish person, and everything from the decor to the toothbrush sets has been meticulously crafted for comfort. This was my first time in Pingtan, so the outings took up a lot of my time at the B&B. Next time, my baby and I have agreed to bring the whole family along. We won't be wandering around, just hanging out by the beach. When we get tired, we can just go to the private beach downstairs. I want to fully savor every moment by the sea... Finally, a special mention goes to our housekeeper, Lin Shitou. He's fantastic. From making reservations beforehand, to meeting us at the airport, he patiently explained everything, to his humorous and informative introductions to the surrounding attractions. All his food recommendations were spotless, and his recommendations were both off-the-beaten-path and perfectly tailored to my taste... Because of him, this B&B feels like the emperor's new clothes, adding even more magic. By the way, the housekeeper took my baby and me to see the Blue Tears at around 10 pm. Seeing them was truly breathtakingly beautiful, and it was truly worth the trip... Their breakfast was also incredibly good. My baby missed out on afternoon tea because she was out, and she told me how much she regretted it. 😂 I'll be back next time, perhaps during the New Year holiday. I think the experience will be even better. 🥰

Had a great stay there with my girlfriend, with amazing views of the strait with the wind turbines. The villa was clean and extremely spacious, with free afternoon tea inclusive of nuts, fruits and coffee. However, the complex is on a long and steep hill, so be prepared to walk if you're not willing to book a cab. Don't use the blue rental scooters to get up the hill, as we fell down at the steepest part.

🏡 Comfortable Stay: The bedding was soft and fluffy, the air conditioning was powerful, and the shower water pressure was excellent—it felt just like home. The best part was the small courtyard; enjoying the sea breeze and tea in the evening was simply wonderful! 🌊 Amazing Location: Just a few minutes' walk to the beach, so you don't have to get up early to watch the sunrise; you can stroll there in flip-flops. Watching for the bioluminescent plankton is also hassle-free; the location recommended by the receptionist was spot-on, and we actually saw it—it was definitely worth the trip! 🍜 Delicious Food: All the restaurants recommended by the receptionist were delicious, and none were disappointing. 👏 Friendly and Excellent Service: The receptionist was incredibly approachable and responded promptly to any requests via WeChat. I'll definitely come back! In short, if you're looking for a comfortable place to stay in Pingtan that's close to the sea and has a friendly atmosphere, this is the place to go!

The environment is excellent, and the service is very attentive. Afternoon tea and breakfast are both provided. Every day, when you open the curtains, you're greeted by the clear blue sea, which is incredibly satisfying. **Facilities**: Very complete. There's even a charging point for the electric scooter we rented. **Cleanliness**: Clean and tidy. They even provide face towels, and the toilet is sterilized. **Environment**: Facing the sea, with a warm and vibrant floral view. **Service**: Everyone is enthusiastic, and shuttle service is available.

The Vibe & A Few Quirks 😹 To be completely honest and a bit playful, the property is a little ”tired” and shows some wear and tear. The strong sea breeze has left its mark with some rust here and there. If I were the manager, I’d definitely grab a bucket of fresh paint and give the place a little makeover! Also, every now and then, you might catch a faint, mysterious scent that sits somewhere between ”stale water” and ”did a confident local stray cat just mark its territory here?” 🐈⬛ But honestly, you just laugh it off. It doesn't ruin the vibe and just becomes a funny part of the coastal experience. Amenities & Dining ☕️ The hotel has some really lovely spaces to unwind. There is a cozy library where you can relax, a great kids' area which is super convenient for families, and a nice bar for the evenings. As for the breakfast, the buffet selection isn't huge, but don't let that disappoint you—everything they serve is fresh, high-quality, and genuinely delicious! Bottom Line: Despite a few minor cosmetic quirks, it’s a wonderful place with a great soul. Embrace the coastal character, enjoy the amazing hospitality, and have a great time! It takes about 20 minutes by taxi from Pingtan Station to the guesthouse. There's also a small, very quiet beach nearby. The guesthouse's exterior is white, and the room I booked had a private courtyard. The interior was a clean and comfortable off-white/cream style, with all the necessary amenities! The biggest bonus was being able to chase the 'blue tears' thanks to the information provided by the owner 💧. I saw them both manually and automatically… hahaha… Thank you! I'll definitely choose Zilan again next time I visit!

Good location in 北港村 Beigang Village, more bustling area with good views and many food options nearby. Can spot the hotel from afar. Rooms are clean and well designed, while facing the sea directly. Pictured are different views during low and high tide. Staff is very responsive via WeChat. Staff also helped to connect us to a local photographer to take 3 free photos (at 镜沙 Jingsha.

My girlfriend and I recently stayed at ZhongYuan Hotel, and our experience was absolutely amazing! From the moment we entered the hotel lobby, we were impressed by the warm and luxurious atmosphere. The staff was extremely friendly and check-in was quick and efficient. Our room was spacious, clean, and beautifully decorated. The bed was incredibly comfortable, providing us with a great night’s sleep. The hotel is conveniently located with many restaurants and shops nearby, making it easy to explore the area. We also really appreciated the thoughtful little details that made our stay even more special. Overall, this stay exceeded our expectations, and we highly recommend ZhongYuan Hotel. Definitely a five-star experience

My hotel stay this time was absolutely wonderful! The front desk staff were incredibly warm and professional; check-in was super fast, and they thoughtfully introduced me to the hotel facilities and interesting places nearby. The room was clean and tidy, with a great layout and excellent natural light. The hotel breakfast offered a rich variety of both Western and Chinese options, and everything tasted great. The freshly baked bread smelled amazing, and the noodles made to order were smooth and delicious. The gym was well-equipped with treadmills, dumbbells, and everything else I needed for my daily workout. The swimming pool water was crystal clear, and a few laps there were incredibly refreshing. The service was top-notch; whether it was the cleaning staff or employees I met in the elevator, everyone greeted me warmly, and any requests were promptly addressed. This stay was simply perfect, and I will definitely choose this hotel again next time I'm in the area!

[Location full score] Going out and crossing the road is the beach, the real ”sea-friendly” hotel. It is super convenient to play in the sand and the waves, and it is the first choice for children. 3. [Service intimate] The front desk is warm and the sea view room is upgraded for free. A small gift was given when I left the store, which was very warm. 4. [Cost-effective] This price can live in a sea view room, new facilities, clean, rich breakfast, what kind of bicycles do you want! highly recommended.
