"Very friendly service, we didn't have to ask much, we were informed about everything, the room was very quiet and clean. Had not had breakfast with in the price, but you could drink free coffee and tea.
I would recommend the hotel to be known."

Amazing
AAnonymous UserThe first two pics you'll see the incredible proximity between Hyperion and the train station and mall. I was exhausted that day so it was super good that the hotel is 1-minute walk from the station! If you want to go to the city center (shopping street or St. Thomas church), it's only a simple 10-15 min walk. A smiley and kind blonde lady checked me in, she was really helpful and genuine. As for the room, it was modern and clean. Highly recommend!
HHuanledemaThe hotel is in the city center, with nice interior decoration and low-key appearance. I found the hotel only when I arrived at the door. Because I arrived on Sunday, there were few people in the city center and almost all businesses were closed. On Monday, the market near the hotel opened, which was really lively. It is very convenient to go everywhere. I basically walked to all the attractions. I like the Bach Museum the most. It is really enjoyable to listen to Bach's works with headphones!
Ssalvalasilvia The hotel is close to the railway station and the city centre. After checking in you can receive tickets for the city transport service.
Every important monument is walking distance and the city is lovely.
The staff, especially at reception, is lovely.
There are also check-in machines that will help you register and will print your key cards.
I’m not a fan of carpet but the room was perfectly clean with a nice bathroom. The bathroom was tiny but with all that was needed.
There’s also a nice luggage rack, unfortunately only one in a room for two, but it’s spacious.
We appreciated the complimentary waters.
GGuest UserClose to the station. Visitable on foot to see and restaurants.
Breakfast is good compared to other hotels.
Small refrigerator in the room. Tableware is provided.
Free self-washing machine and dryer on the 8th floor (soap)
GGuest UserDespite not speaking English or German, all the hotel staff, from the breakfast area to the front desk, were incredibly kind and made my stay very comfortable and stress-free. The location was absolutely perfect, right in front of the Opera House and Gewandhaus. The breakfast was delicious, offering a good spread of vegetables, fruits, fried and scrambled eggs, ham, cheese, bread, drinks, and mixed salads. My only minor suggestion would be to add three or four unique cooked dishes characteristic of Leipzig. I stayed for three nights, and I was informed there would be no room cleaning during that time. This meant I could go out sightseeing without having to worry about tidying up my room, which I found quite relaxing and convenient.
GGuest UserI can't believe this clearness and cosy bed and also it is really good isolation with this price.
There is just a little bit of far from the centre but it's easy access to the tram.
So I would say perfect hostel.
AAnonymous UserWe are lucky to be moved to Hyperion instead, also under the H hotel group. I cant comment on H2 thus.
Hyperion hotel is awesome by the way. And for the price is totally worth it. It has every aspect of a 5 star but the rate is so reasonable. The room is clean, fit with many amentities and breakfast spread is terrific! I will definitely top up a bit more in my next visit to Germany to stay in Hyperion instead
AAnonymous UserWe stayed in a suite for 4 people. The bathroom and separate toilet are perfectly adequate. However, there are not enough power outlets in the bathroom and there are not enough in the room itself. The breakfast buffet was delicious, varied and fresh. There were only a few places to sit if you go for breakfast during peak times.
RRPSMThe INNSiDE Leipzig enjoys an excellent location, tucked neatly between the historic market square, the old town, and a more contemporary quarter brimming with restaurants and cafés. It’s a strong base for exploring the city on foot, whether your interest lies in culture, shopping, or dining.
We didn’t opt for the hotel breakfast, and honestly, there’s no need to. The surrounding area offers plenty of breakfast options. That said, quality varies — a few places are solid, while others are best avoided, so a bit of online scouting is advisable.
The hotel itself is functional and in good repair. It’s clean, straightforward, and unpretentious — not luxurious, but not run-down either. One design choice I could do without is the glass-walled showers. They’re the fully transparent sort, which lack privacy and seem more decorative than practical. A door wouldn’t go amiss.
Air conditioning is adequate but not strong. During our June visit it was just sufficient. If you’re visiting during a hotter spell — say, in August — you might find it underwhelming. That said, Leipzig isn’t known for oppressive heat.
We parked in a nearby public parking facility for €20 per day. It’s a short walk from the hotel and, in our view, the more sensible choice compared to the hotel’s own parking offering.
Stay here for the location and cleanliness. Skip the breakfast, be ready for the odd bathroom layout, and use public parking. It’s a solid, no-frills choice — just don’t expect charm or luxury.
GGlennWas stranded at the door step and was unable to get into. Ring up the given number and there's no one picking up.
A kind soul, happen to be unit neighbour helps us out. Manage to contact them and realise that they DIDN'T email us the necessary documents and password inorder to gain access into the unit.
Imagine what what if this happened on a late night. Very nervous and bad experience despite all the pros about this unit.
