"The location of this hotel is excellent. Probably the best choice for seeing the great Coruña city. The staff is super kind, the rooms are big and clean. It needs a refurbishment but it yet has good value for money."

Great
GGuest UserExcellent small hotel 50 m from the beach. Very clean and comfortable, luxurious toiletries. The downside is that there was a room with a window that looked out onto a well, where clothes were dried and people walked around. Parking is paid and you need to walk about 200 meters to get there, the keys to the parking lot need to be taken to the reception every time, which is inconvenient
Ssusan ᐝThe rooms, food, and service at this international chain hotel were all up to standard and nothing to complain about. The location was also good; a local art museum was just a 2-minute walk away. They provided three complimentary bottles of water and free use of the minibar daily, which is quite generous considering hotels in Europe are generally rather stingy. There was also a staff member at the entrance to help with luggage. The only downside was the small breakfast area; when it got crowded, there wasn't even room to stand and queue. One day, I received a rotten apple among the fruit available, which I quickly put back; I'm not sure if it was just for display or for guests. La Coruña, this seaside city, is very charming, safer than Barcelona, and offers a much better travel experience than crowded big cities. Definitely worth a return visit!
GGuest UserI stayed in the Avenida hotel from April 9 to April 15. The hotel staff was as friendly and helpful as possible. The food in the restaurant was just amazing. My room was maybe a little bit tight (a large bed in the center), on the other hand it had a spacious bathroom with not only a shower but also a bathtub, while the plumbery as well as the bath amenities were perfect. Overall, the room was an excellent value for money. In addition, the Avenida hotel is very conveniently located within the 5-minute walking reach of both the bus terminal and the railway station - whereas the city center, its historical part and the beaches alike are easily reachable by the city bus. Highly recommended!
AAnonymous UserThe front desk clerk was friendly and willing to answer questions for us. The breakfast quality is very high, the fruit and vegetables are very fresh, and we should provide the drinks we need. The restaurant has been recognized by Michelin stars and the quality of food should be better! The bathroom in the room is relatively thin, and the switch will be moved when it turns around. Suddenly it becomes hot water and be careful of scalding! The room has a terrace. The location of the hotel is in the city center, there are bus stops and taxi stations nearby, and the traffic is very convenient.
JJose Luis SeisD2The person who checked in was a very unfriendly person, without a smile, and no words like ”please check in” from his mouth. He is limited to obtaining data and giving us keys.
The room was freshly painted and smelled of paint.
Ceiling lamps and bedside lamps are not working, so when you are lying in bed, you have to get up and turn off the lights in the hall to light up the room.
There was some mold in the corner of the shower, and water leaked from the bottom of the screen because it was not closed properly.
The box spring is very old.
Agree, support, appreciate, benefit:
• The bed is large and comfortable (this is a good point, because the most important thing is that you go to a hotel to sleep).
• Abundant food.
• We had no problem parking at the door.
I had to book this hotel 3 times because we were going to an event that was suspended 2 times. We want to bring a dog. After the first booking, I asked if we can bring a pet (under hotel conditions, it said yes, but I called to confirm) and they said yes. I ordered it the second time, they did not say and the third time, they said it again (one thing at a time), but because there is a time when a puppy is allowed, I want to know if the animal’s body is important Because our dog weighs 30 kilograms, then they told me no, up to 10 kilograms. If I can’t ask the last question, let’s see what happens if we arrive with the dog, and then they just say yes and won’t admit it.
We decided to stay at this hotel because of the price. It was one of the cheapest options we found, but required the least facilities, such as a private bathroom.
