TTaiyangshanlingqiA good accommodation choice on the middle section of Highway 1 from Los Angeles to San Francisco. The rooms have real fire places and the mountain views from the balcony are beautiful. The entire hotel is a group of villas halfway up the mountain. The breakfast is American style. The hotel is a 5-minute drive from the town center where there are supermarkets and various restaurants. The hotel is an 18-minute drive from the famous Elephant Seal Beach.

SSuansuansuansuanlebaFacilities: The heating in the room is super powerful, and the seaside is humid. After the sea breeze is super cold, turn it on and let the wind out immediately. Don't be too comfortable! The basic facilities in the room are very good! There are also timed warm lights in the bathroom, each design is very practical, and the hotel is very thoughtful.
Hygiene: clean and tidy!
Environment: There are enough recreational items in the hotel, and there is no problem staying in the hotel for a whole day; it is close to the beach, and you can walk to Moonstone in 5 minutes. It is very convenient, and it is a seaside where you can watch the sunset! There is a complete plank road, which is very safe.
Service: The service of the hotel and the restaurant next door are very good!

GGuest UserThe staff made us feel very welcome and they were very accommodating. The facilities were excellent and the place had some a warm and cozy feeling. We loved the fires in the rooms and the jacuzzi and steam rooms. Breakfast was simple and grab and go style which worked fine for us. The location is perfect right next to amazing trails and wildlife. We will definitely be back.

GGuest UserThis is the best hotel to stay in California, the room is large, there is a warm fireplace, the environment is very good, just by the sea, you can watch the sunset around the bonfire, you can stand by the sea to see the flock of sea birds, you can also play on the beach, the service is very good, Thank you Trip.com customer service for helping to book this hotel.

GGuest UserFront desk personnel was very friendly and attentive.
The room, hmm. Clean but beat up. And broken.
The fireplace did not work. Big bummer. Maintenance got it working, but if we turned it ff, it would not go back on. So, it was a one shot deal. Plus, you never want to have to call in maintenance once you are already in the room. Its just uncomfortable. The window opened on ground level to parking lot two feet from window. One window did not lock at all. Cobwebs hanging from ceiling I have these at home, but don't expect cobwebs at a hotel.
The fan in the bathroom did not work. So it got very stuffy in there and never dried out from shower.
Overall, I would not book here again. there are plenty of other hotel Inns along this stretch of beach, all with the same excellent location.
