Batam Center Teluk Tering Hotels

I chose this hotel because I saw reviews on various platforms stating that sauna facilities were available. I am looking for hotel/s with Sauna !! My real intention. Compared to other hotels with saunas, the price here was very reasonable given the luxurious facilities and surroundings, which made me choose this hotel. However, I was quite disappointed when I arrived and asked the reception, only to find out that the spa and sauna services had long been discontinued / are under renovation. I honestly don’t have any other reason to stay here. That being said, I was very satisfied with the room. It was clean, 5-star standard, had a bathtub, the TV worked perfectly, and overall I was very excited and happy. The hotel facilities and environment were also beautiful and impressive – the lobby was elegant and exclusive, the lift area leading to the rooms was spacious and luxurious, the swimming pool was large and beautiful, the café was wide with delicious food, and paid spa services were also available. To sum up, everything was beautiful and luxurious, and I was very satisfied – definitely a stay worth the money. The only downside was not being able to experience the sauna. That’s it. 4/5 stars. Tip top.

The hotel is OK in general with friendly staff, but the building is old and requires some repair. Our room has a cracked wall and mold in the bathroom. The curtain has some stains and can benefit from a good wash. I asked to change the room due to the crack, and the staff showed me 2 other rooms with similar conditions (moldy bathroom, light cracks on the wall) so I chose to stay in the original room.

Good value for the buck. Walking distance to the chain of restaurants across the street (just be careful how to cross the 5 lane per direction road!) , where u will find MacDonalds, Burger King (tiny burgers), Starbucks, HokBen , etc. (caption of picture : night view of the hotel walking toward the restaurants across the street)

Clean room and toilet. Water pressure is good. Air-conditioning is okay but at night is abit stuffy. Air-con seems to be controlled but still acceptable.. Bed is comfy and there is 2 pillows. Cons is that grabfood driver is not allowed to enter. They have to park at the guard house and walk in or we have to walk out..hope they can allow them to come in nearer to the main entrance. Will stay here again.

Hotel is at a very open location, afew KMs of batam center. Very exquisite feel from the outside n inside. Place is nice, rooms & toilets are clean. Just that the aircons from the lobby to the rooms aren't functioning well.

Just an okay place to crash. Not that great but not that bad. Could be better than expected. The location is great and lots of food outlets can be found nearby just by walking. Overall, a good place to stay.

The location is relatively near to Batam Center International Ferry Terminal, but it’s not a walking distance. Near attractions like Masjid Agung and food courts and convenience store. My main complain is on the cleanliness of the toilet. It really need scrubbing on the floor, toilet and wall. The towels maybe have been washed but its not freshly washed. There’s some humid smell on the towel. The shampoo and soap are not refilled either. The plus is side is the price comes with breakfast. The foods are nice and includes fruits as well. But may improve on the cleanliness of the toaster as well as the food presentation. There are some maintainence work need to be done to improve the hotel’s overall presentation. Gladly, I’m pleased to comment that there is no cockroaches☺️

Location is nice as it was near to international ferry terminal. people are nice and the room is also spacious. room has dryer. but they were unable to put shampoo and conditioner. There is always room for improvement, I hope they can check little details like that. We also forget my fiance’s mini electric razor.

There are smoking rooms available for smokers on the top floor of hotel . Rooms are clean. The hotel is next to the Batam city center pier, so it’s very convenient. Breakfast is delicious and there are many type of food to choose. The swimming pool is clean. It’s nice experience to stay here.

Perhaps me and my families are one of the most frequently visitor of Santika Hotel around the country. From Bali, Malang, Yogya, Semarang. But Santika Batam is the worst service hotel I've ever had. FO officer name Artha acted like an amateur. Not only her face who rude but also very disspointing. I've been waiting more than half an hour w/o confirmation that our room was ready to use. She was very pasif to inform guest whether the room was ready though time for check-in already set. When I tried to ask how it should be, she answered with denial. Housekeeping still double checked. It's kind an insane manner. Duty manager Mr. Garry (Jerry) was willing to catch us, try to explained the standar service. He was offering complimentary transfer to harbour, the day after. But it never happened. What an insane service, I underwent at Santika Batam. One of the worst service I got so far. Don't know if the Management realize these experience.
