Xinxiang Yayuan Siheyuan (Beijing Tiananmen Wangfujing Branch)

Very friendly staff and boss, they go beyond and provide us lots of desserts and even have good supper (wonton soup , beef noodle and tang yuan)…highly recommend if you would like to find a stay that can chill and great ambience …will come back if I’m back to Beijing 😍

I booked this courtyard siheyuan as a surprise treat for my family and it was indeed one beyond expectation. The siheyuan is beautiful and peaceful, with just 9 rooms in total, you feel exclusive. There's even a rooftop terrace with a table in the greenhouse to enjoy your tea. I didnt realise this room has a private pond just right outside the room so that was a very pleasant bonus! My dad enjoys feeding the koi fish! Room has a projector and screen and a AI operator Xiao-du to help with automated switching on/off lights or drawing of curtains. There's daily breakfast buffet and afternoon tea with a variety of snacks, fruits and tea. Afternoon tea spreads into the late evening so you won't miss out after returning from a day's touring. Location is good with eateries and convenience stores nearby along the main street. Staff are friendly, attentive and helpful. Special thanks to Ms Shining who helped carry our luggages to the main street and even across to get on the cab. We had such a wonderful stay there and would highly recommend if you like to experience a courtyard living in Beijing!

Is a hidden gem in the center of Beijing, such an authentic and aesthetic hotel! They provided complimentary afternoon tea for the guests and amazing breakfast, the staff of very kind and outgoing. Superb 2 nights experience staying at this traditional Chinese B&B! Great hospitality, boss and staff are very attentive. Room is clean with great facilities, breakfast is awesome with lots of local specialties! Ambience and decor is excellent, with lots of photo spots! Would definitely recommend anyone who wants an unforgettable experience to stay here!

Good location as the hotel is only a few min ride away from the major tourist attractions. The service level in this hotel is definitely top notch. The staff offered us breakfast before we can check in and even provided us warm water in the cold weather. They have been super helpful and attentive to our needs during our stay there. They also provided us one afternoon tea session which you can arrange with them any time and it was really delicious! Tea was specially made by the hotel and they even served us freshly roasted sweet potato on the side. Room might be a little small, but good enough for two pax. Highly recommend to anyone coming to Beijing!

My brother and I stayed during our first visit to Beijing, and the experience was flawless from beginning to end! Xinxiang Yayuan Siheyuan takes good service very seriously, and everyone went out of their way to make our stay special. Breakfast and afternoon tea were delicious, and included different local recipes each day. Don’t miss trying the beef noodles! The room was perfect with a beautiful courtyard view, comfortable beds, and a modern bathroom with high tech toilet and shower with hot water/good pressure (anyone who loves historic hotels knows these can sometimes be a challenge, but not here!). The location is great for accessing key tourist sites, is near a metro station, and is in a beautiful hutong that’s worth exploring on a morning or evening walk.
