Here for a week with my hubby for our silver wedding anniversary(today). Today I used the Wellness Beauty Center and it was amazing. I was determined I was use it while here. The hostess was lovely and called Ana. I even had a glass of cava. Ty xx

Pros - Close to beach and pool - kids playing area with limited activities -discount for drinks in the restaurant Cons - Food in dinner buffe in the restaurant was not up to standard and it was repeated everyday. Some salad was old and dry and starting to rotten. - hotel staff were not polite except for the ones playing with children - AC is mentioned on website but heating was not working - WiFi doesn’t work in the room

Very Good

We stayed for 4 nights, on arrival we were supported to a more suitable room. At the receptionists suggestion, I'm a wheelchair user. Pros The room was a good size and lovely and clean. Fantastic views from the room The pool was cleaned daily. Good Select of food, which was fresh and warm. Supermarket and pharmacy at the bottom of the road (2minutes away) Blackout curtains in the room. Cons There was a sewage smell when sat around the pool. Room card and bracelet needed to enter for meals and get drinks. Church bells very loud and at 4 minutes past the hour. Pool was very cold, but it is freshwater and about 24 degrees. Other things to note. There's a games room which is good for the kids, euros needed. Pool doesn't allow inflatables. Meal times are 8-10am, 1-3pm and 8-10pm. Taxi to the old town about €7, benidorm €15. Evening entertainment starts at 9:30pm. The beach isn't far but it's an uphill walk back. Most of the people staying at the hotel were older spanish residents. There weren't many younger families, although this was the beginning of the season. Plenty of sunbeds but again it was quiet.

This was our fourth time staying at the Bali and yet again the hotel, staff and amenities did not disappoint. We booked through Jet2 (fantastic service) and arrived to a warm welcome from the reception staff. We asked for a lower level room (I suffer from severe vertigo) which was duly catered for in a prompt and professional manner. For all of the previous reviews that have complained about the food, our personal experience was that the main restaurant had just been tastefully refurbished with a fantastic choice for both adults and children. The food was hot and plentiful with continued replenishment from the very friendly staff. My conclusion is that this holiday was great value for money in the quieter area of Benidorm.

I’m not normally someone that writes reviews but I thought these things needed highlighting. Food was average and ended up with food poisoning on the last day making me very unwell for the trip home. Wasn’t aloud a bottle of water because ‘the bar wasn’t open’, was the only time I had a problem with the staff as the rest were lovely. Still feeling the effects of food poisoning which is horrendous and wouldn’t wish it on anyone. One pool was closed entirely for the stay of our trip. Have to pay for drinks after 11pm even if you had all inclusive but could upgrade for €13 a day. Lifts can take a while due to the amount of floors. Location is good with a supermarket round the corner and plenty of bars/restaurants close by. Room was average with bathroom needing some work doing. Balcony was dated and needing a deep clean. Fridge didn’t really work too well and the safe was broken. Beds were comfy which was a plus. Fairly disappointed with my stay but had a better time out of the hotel. Overall we had a fairly decent stay but somethings definitely needs work. We love Benidorm but just not this hotel. Doubt I would stay again.

It's our third time at the hotel and the cleaning is great, it's spotless, the food is really nice, great variety! The location is great, only walk a few minutes to get to La Cala beach. The workers are all very pleasant and polite. All positives, no negatives and would definitely recommend. This area of Benidorm is a lot nicer.

I don’t usually do reviews but do find others reviews helpful so thought I’d write a few comments to help others make their decision. In view of previous reviews I knew not to expect too much and it was a last minute break ( booked 24 hrs before hand!). Hotel fine, definitely not what I would expect for 4 star. Food okay. Basic. Fine for 3 days half board but wouldn’t want longer and wouldn’t book half board again here. Reception staff were rude. Half an hour wait to check in due to minimal reception staff, not an ideal way to start a holiday. 43 floors meant waiting for a lift could be 5-10 minutes. We did walk the 22 floors to our room with a 5 year old, it was good fitness! Awful howling noise through the closed doors in our room one night, had to sleep with the door open to the balcony ( noisy outside but would not have been able sleep through the noise). Hotel really needs some work and updating, central pool empty and structure held up by netting and cordoned off looked horrible and dangerous. Have to sign in to dinner and then sign out to settle up each evening even if you don’t buy any drinks. This meant queuing for 10 minutes which wasn’t ideal. Spa and roof top bar sound lovely but too expensive. 15 euros each for the roof top entry and 20 euros for the spa so we didn’t try these. Lift has a glass front and if happy to wait 10 mins for the lift, lovely inland views but there was a worrying large crack through the glass of the lift. Ok for a cheap break but 3 star max and needs improvements. I personally don’t feel I have high standards but wouldn’t stay here again. Location and views are lovely- 50 minute walk into the main town but finestrat beach 10 mins walk and lovely. Bus stop nearby 1 euro 60 each each way.

The hotel has good facilities generally and is clean and comfortable throughout. Rooms could use an update but plenty of space and great storage. Food is what lets this hotel down in a big way. Poor quality, limited options, not hot enough and very repetitive. We paid for all inclusive but this is not value for money at all and lots of additional charges so really not worth the cost.

I don’t like to give a bad review however this hotel was appalling, I didn’t expect 4 star as it rates however I have stayed in 3 star that are far nicer , the staff were very rude , definitely could see they did not enjoy there jobs , never been anywhere before where staff don’t have a little chat with you ! Tables left with dirt glasses for hours days , we were lucky as the seagulls would clear up the left over food as much as they could ! Food not always cooked chicken was raw !! We ate out mostly , certainly not all inclusive you got treated like dirt for having standard all inclusive, if you pay an added 13 euros a day you can get a cocktail !! A joke ! So disappointed… the blow might have been a little lighter if staff were nice …. One bar staff was pleasant ( only one ) I hate to say this but felt if I had been Spanish they would have Been more friendly. I go abroad twice a year and if this had been my only holiday this year I would be utterly gutted ! I have to say rooms were cleaned daily and plenty of clean towels , other than that nothing else I could say nice !!

I am writing to u I stayed at this hotel for my mates birthday we arrived on the 1st of April we went down to the buffet restaurant the one waiter just blank us when we wonted a drink and seen we had all inclusive bands on told us to use the water machine, that made us feel ill at bit. I went to the reception to complain about this asked what we was aloud to hve to drink and all it was discussing that I had to go to reception to complain when u are all inclusive u should be able to hve everything not hve to pay another 13 euro that is very poor. I was not impress will the food on the first day I arrived I wonted to leave to come home didn’t feel welcome at all at the hotel gran bati it seemed like u like the Spanish people instead of British would never come to Benidorm in my life again nd this hotel as well. Only thing I liked about this hotel was the spa and the sky view a well I think we should get something back off this hotel very poor thank hope to hear bck. The maids was so lovely as well always kept the rooms looking clean nd tidy nd fresh that’s why we left a little tip to them, the beds was okay i think they should of had two pillows spare not one because they are thin as well had to put cushions under there that made my shoulder hurt as well I don’t think I will come to Benidorm again just not my cup of tea and all didn’t enjoy myself felt so scared on the ***** trying to drag u in the bars that is scary the spa nd staff is so lovely x

Only 1 pol useable due to one being closed and only 1 lifeguard on 1 pool, so children told they could not use the pool not manned. Ran out of glasses so had to have top shelf drinks in pint glass. 5 days out of 9 no entertainment in lounge for English speaking guests. All inclusive and could only have water in a pint glass not a bottle, also even tomato juice not in the all inclusive. Staff need better training tried to charge for extra milk in coffee Tap off in the room for 3 days and our other party guests room was filthy, and if you opened 1 drawer all 4 opened. TV very rarely had a signal Can't call this a 4 star all inclusive
