"The total decadence. We have seen the decline of this hotel year after year. We have been coming for 10 years and, although it has never been a panacea, the deterioration is already unacceptable. Not because of the facilities, but because of the bad service and the terrible attention. Except for the dining room waitresses (not all of them) and the bar waiters (all fantastic), the attention at reception and maitres is deplorable. Entertainment, a key element in the choice of many families, is non-existent and aimed exclusively at the elderly, who already make up more than 90% of the guests. Special mention to “Inma”, a receptionist with a bad manners that borders on the embarrassing. In short, cheap is expensive and we must say goodbye forever to this hotel, which had the potential to position itself as a great resort but has remained a third-rate hostel."

"I have just returned from a weeks all inclusive holiday here and i was impressed and it certainly exceeded my expectations. I was a little concerned beforehand as the reviews were somewhat mixed, however I really can't understand the bad ones. The hotel and grounds are beautiful. The swimming pools were also great. The hotel never felt too busy and it was easy to find sunbeds. The bars were good and the drinks included in all inclusive were of pretty good quality (much better than other all inclusive I've been to). The food was also pretty good. There is an all inclusive buffet for breakfast, lunch and dinner which was generally good although a bit "samey" over the week. Other all inclusive options were the Mexican beach cafe restaurant which did burgers, nacos, tacos, etc and this was really good quality. In addition there was an included ice cream parlour which was also great. There were also three ala carte restaurants - we had one meal included as part of our package and chose the Italian which was really good. We stayed in a family suite which was a perfect size for a family with 2 teens - a king room, twin room and a seperate lounge. The air con worked well and it was very clean. They could probably do with being renovated but not so much that it causes a problem. The staff were also very good and helpful. Some downsides - the hotel is showing signs of age and could do with some increased maintenance (but this doesn't spoil the stay). The WiFi signal was also patchy and didn't work in our room. They could do with some handgel in the buffets and also the restaurant would have an overwhelming smell of fried fish on occasions- perhaps investing in better extractor fans works be good. The area outside the hotel isn't particularly interesting but not a problem for us. In summary I was happy and felt it offered good value for money and the ground and swimming pools were really great. If you want an all inclusive holiday in the sun in a nice hotel I would recomend this place."

"Great location at the top of the strip. Hotel kept very clean. Staff lovely especially in the restaurant and at pool . Lots of choice at mealtimes even the picky eaters ate well while we were here. Love that you can switch evening meal for lunch. No early morning rush for sun beds as there were plenty at hours of the day. Met lots of return holiday makers. Hotel had a range of age groups staying."

"Very dated hotel / apartments , air conditioning very poor , 4 night stay , room only cleaned once , no cups in the small galley kitchen . Would I stay again , definitely not . Staff were helpful and pool and public area was clean and tidy. Breakfast was €8"

Hotel Lido

"This was only a nights stay before go to our other hotel to which i am glad because if I would have had 10 days here I would have cried and gone home. No staff to help, the stairs ways were mucky and the pool was nice and the ladders were not fixed properly and I sliced my foot on them and staff wasn't bothered never asked if ok or came to see me at the pool. Food was awful apart from the ice cream, I had reservations eating the food lack of hygiene was a big no no. The smell round the pool was dreadful which was the drainage and all the steps up from the pool were broken. One positive is bed was comfy. I would not recommend this hotel at all I can't wait to leave."
