Absolutely nothing magic about this resort. Arrived midday and couldn’t check into our room, told it would be 5 pm, so we lost a day. From our experience we know some people didn't get into their room until 7pm. Finally got into room, it was too small to move around in, no space to walk around double bed (2 twins), so couldn’t move suitcases around the room and was difficult to unpack. Couldn’t open cupboard door for mini fridge as sofa bed blocked access and couldn’t walk past it. Moved sofa bed so could access fridge, but then didn’t leave much room between twin beds and sofa bed. In any case, didn’t need to access fridge as it’s hadn’t been stocked, as it’s stated on the web site. Complained about this and told it wouldn’t be replenished as we’re not ultra all inclusive - wasn’t asking for it be replenished just stocked on arrival as per TUI website. Really rude staff (particularly the English lady on reception who was really passive aggressive, dismissive and patronising, calling me 'darling' when I tried to complain) . Not only was accommodation far too small, it was tired, grotty and dirty. Black mould in the shower tray- which flooded the bathroom when you used the shower (could only have water trickling out) - this also soaked one of our cases and contents, as we had to store a case in the bathroom due to lack of space in the room. There was writing on the ceiling and nails sticking out. Dried blood on the underside of the bed throw. Several days, beds weren’t made. Weren’t given toilet rolls and had to hunt down cleaning staff and ask. Only given 2 bath towels on most days, despite being 3 of us. They didn’t clear away used glasses from our room either. Told the room would have a view. It didn’t. A view of the complex road and charger point for the buggies. The lodge was semi detached and walls were paper thin, so you could hear EVERYTHING from next door. The image shown of the lodge was not the entire building (as we thought) but just a third of it! Think our Guinea pigs have bigger accommodation. The air con was noisy and smelled of gone off milk when you switched it on. If that wasn’t on you could hear the unstocked mini fridge loudly buzzing away…as well as the delightful music and singing from next door. The zoo wasn't great - not awful - but I was worried about some of the enclosures (space and boredom). TUI marketing really unclear - shark practice. On opening page it says there are 2 buffets and a number of restaurants. Could only use the one buffet which was awful, too crowded and like a school canteen - not a pleasant dining experience. Also booked because we thought there were better facilities for our teenage son, but he couldn’t use pool table or game’s consoles as we weren’t ultra all inclusive. Could only use the 1 table tennis, but that was always busy, like everywhere else. The main pool area(s) - horrific. Pools are far too small, can’t swim and so very crowded. Fight for a sun lounger and there aren’t nearly e
