We checked in around mid night due to flight delayed from Boston to SFO. The front desk waited and processed our check in shifty.
There is no in room amenity which makes late checkin very inconvenient.
The front desk did not informed us about daily USD25+tax destination charges. We wasted this daily spend in our stay😨

This place brings back memories of campus life with thoughtful designs at each corner. I was overcome with acute nostalgia for my days in college. The front desk staff were very nice :)))

If you have something to do at UC Berkeley, this hotel is the best place to stay with following reasons.
(1) Best Location - The nearest to the UC Berkeley, (2) Staff there is super nice and friendly. It made my stay so comfortable.
In a meanwhile, you need to bear in mind that (1) Facility is old, (2) you need to bear additional cost, such as Overnight Self Parking 37.00, and (2) Property Amenity Fee 25.00, (3) Property Amenity Fee City Occupancy Tax 3.00, that are not cheap.
Overall, I'm satisfied with my choice!

After checking in, I found that the room was semi-underground and very small. I communicated with the front desk to no avail. After Ctrip negotiated by phone, I was given a slightly larger room. At the same time, I found that the paper towels had been used. In short, the experience was very bad.
