Four Points by Sheraton Bintan, Lagoi Bay

The hotel has direct access to the beach and has its own sea sports centre.. The hotel's service is good but with the high volume of guests, the food service waiting time is long. Additionally, there are insufficient beach towels and a lack of replenishment of plates and cups in the breakfast area. Overall, it was an enjoyable and memorable stay for my family!

Expected so much more from this hotel. 1. We arrived at 12.30pm and checked in. Was told that rooms would be ready by check in time at 3pm. Rooms were not ready even at 4pm. We just had to wait at the lobby entire time. 2. Went to one of their restaurants and somehow it took almost 1.5 hours for the food to be served. 3.Requested for connecting rooms and birthday decorations via emails weeks in advance but we didn't get the connecting rooms, while birthday decorations were done on the wrong day. 4. Can't get basic amenities. Towels were not replenished after cleaning and we had to request 3x before it was delivered 2 hrs later 5. Body soap was basically water. Feedback this to housekeeping and he promised to change the soap but he didn't change it. 6. Hotel is supposedly new but alr falling apart. Room door and bathroom door had to be forced in frames to close properly. Balcony was not cleaned and full of lizard droppings. Floor was not vacuumed properly and very dusty. Don't understand how it got great reviews.

With the exception of the housekeeping issues on our second day, which they failed to replenish the beverages and towels despite me placing "Please make up room" sign in the morning, everything else was alright. They promptly resolved the matter.

We enjoyed our 3D2N stay. Seems like a popular choice with many people checking in at various times of the day. Staff service was 💯. They made an effort to decorate the room as it was my birthday. There were also mini activities to keep the kids occupied. My kid enjoyed feeding the fishes. We also tried in-room dining and it was not too bad.

Love the service provided by the hotel staff - all smiles, greet-y and attentive. Room is clean and well furnished. The only slight flaws are occasional presence of house flies in the room, and shower water took some time to come on, but those not big issues. Beach is good and quiet. We will stay there again for future Bintan vacation.

The hotel is clean and great location, about 10 minutes from BBT ferry terminal. Staff was polite and welcoming and breakfast was delicious and wide spread. Nice environment for swimming, relaxing and near to seaside. Stayed for 2 nights and book half day tour to nearby attraction Blue lake , Sand Dune, enjoyed ATV ride etc. Thumbs up👍👍.
