The b&b is just stunning. The reception are so helpful, lots of leaflets and advise during our stay! The place is a 7 minute walk from the Vintgar Gorge meeting point and a 20 minute walk to Bled which we thought was perfect as it is within a small village out the way of the hussle and bustle in Bled. We truly felt relaxed here even though our days were jam packed! Breakfast was amazing, lots of variety and again really lovely staff to attend to us. We would absolutely recommend this place to our friends and family. Thank you!

We recently returned from a 4 night stay at Veldes B&B and had a wonderful time! We had a triple panoramic room - modern bathroom, plenty of room, 3 x comfy beds and a balcony. The whole building is fabulous - modern but in keeping with the environment with wood and alpine decor. Breakfast was exceptional. Plenty of choice and a lovely welcome from Christina each morning. We found the owners Robert and Nataša to be very friendly and helpful, providing valuable advice and tips on the local area. It’s about a 20 min walk into town or the lake, which we found no problem (although there is also a bus) and walking distance to the Vintgar Gorge carpark where the shuttle picks you up. We could definitely have stayed longer! Key highlights for us were walking round Lake Bled (lots of photo stops), Ojstrica viewpoint, a morning visit to Lake Bohinj, half day in Ljubljana, Vintgar Gorge and time at the lake swimming and paddle boarding. All in all, a fantastic stay. I have already recommended Veldes to friends and would certainly stay again. An amazing first visit to a Slovenia and Lake Bled. Thank you!

We enjoyed our 3 night stay in Lake Bled at Veldes B&B. The room was a great set up for families, with separate beds for the kids, and very comfortable. Good breakfast options each morning. We were able to walk down to the lake to explore, for dinner and to go swimming.

This was one of the nicest places we ever stayed . It is absolutely spotless and the design is just beautiful . All lovely wood etc . Beds were very comfortable . Breakfast was lovely . Staff friendly and helpful . A short but nice walk into beautiful Bled . Would go back just to stay in this lovely establishment again !! SO nice . Have recommended to others. Now no other B and B can live up to it !!!

Veldes B&B is absolutely amazing! The rooms are huge, modern and exceptionally clean. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The breakfast is also fantastic. It is a short 15 min walk to Lake Bled. It was my partners 30th birthday and they baked him a lovely cake with candles! We will definitely stay here again!

Fantastic Apartment and nights in Lake Bled
Beautiful property and finished to a real high standard. Shower fantastic, bed very comfy and no noise pollution. The owners were attentive and helpful and couldnt do enough for us. The breakfast choice was very good and the breakfast waitress very friendly.
Location of the apartment is good for park and ride and for free bus to Vintgar Gorge. It’s about a 20 minute to the lakeside but worth it for such a nice place to stay.
