Only disadvantage is the location, long walk to the city center or train station. Room is spacious, bed comfy, nice kitchen. Friendly staff. Still worth the price.

The hostel provides you with the bare necessities, such as a comfortable bed, a spacious room and locker including a lock, and a small bedlight and socket. Unfortunately, that is also literally it and nothing more. There are no curtains for the beds. The bathroom is super weirdly laid out; there is a bathroom with shower, the only toilet and a sink behind a door; then in front of that, there is another sink and a shower. WITH NO DOOR. Making this shower literally unusable. There are two light switches in the bathroom, one that turns on the light in the back bathroom (behind the door) AND a light for the front sink. This means that, if people are sleeping in the bed next to the bathroom, there is literally light shining directly on their face and all the sounds. A problem easily solved by adding a door and curtains on the beds. The bathrooms didn’t have hand soap (they were empty) or any shower amenities (no shower gel). You have to pay if you want a towel, and you also have to make your own bed. There is also a lot of noise from the neighbours, what seems like a student accommodation. At this kind of price range, the level of amenities is terribly disappointing and could be easily solved. I have stayed in hostels all over the world and sadly this one was just one of two options in Bologna, so not much choice. There are really a lot of simple improvements possible that would have made it worth it, but I really cannot say this is value for money at all.

First of all, we would like to point out that your stay coincided with the period of one of the city's most important trade fairs, which led to a higher demand and consequently higher rates than during periods without major events. However, we would like to point out that our rates remain among the most competitive in the city. With regard to bed linen, in many hostels it is customary for guests to have their beds made on arrival or to be provided with their own sleeping bags In our case, we provide cotton linen, but we are not obliged to do so (especially in dormitories, where there is no demand for pre-made beds). That the dispensers for the toiletries were empty is very puzzling to us, as they are refilled on a daily basis, and the colleague on duty informs me that he immediately rectified the problem as soon as he pointed it out, so we apologise again for the inconvenience. Regarding the bathroom structure, we are aware that the layout may seem unconventional, but unfortunately it is not possible to add an extra door for structural reasons. Furthermore, as this is an exclusively female dormitory, privacy should have been respected. We apologise if this was not adequately perceived. Finally, we understand the comment regarding curtains for the beds: our beds are handmade, and the current structure does not allow for the installation of curtains. However, it is an interesting idea that we will consider in order to improve our guests' experience. We thank you again for your constructive feedback. The hostel is about 15 minutes walk from Bologna station, and there’sa grocery store about 10 minutes and great cafes that are better than many in the city center. The hostel is very clean with lockers in the rooms and shower/bathroom. You must rent a towel for €3 if you do not have your own. The painting and design is aesthetic. The service is great too: the clerk who checked me in carried my bag for me. The dining area is spacious and can be used for work but the other public areas are less conducive to that. The hostel is a great value if staying in Bologna.

The location is a little remote, and I was a little worried about going there alone at night, but the surroundings were OK. The staff was friendly and welcoming, and the room lockers provided keys. The room was very large and the bathroom was clean. It's not a popular city, so the quad room was not full and very comfortable.

It was a great experience. The room was spacious. The hostel was very suitable for making friends. You will meet all kinds of young people on the way. My lower bunk was a young accountant in California. We chatted about life together. It was a very interesting experience. The room was also very quiet. The room was clean and big. The staff was nice. But don't stay here on Saturday. The party went on until 4am. You could feel the vibration even when you lay in bed.

You can leave your luggage before check-in from 8am. All the employees are kind and friendly. Towels are free and you can request as many towels as you want. It would be better to ask for at least two towels for wiping your feet. Maybe it was just the room I stayed in, but there was no electricity in the shower booth, so I took a bath using the light from the toilet. There is a locker with a key in the room. There was also a hair dryer in the room. However, it's farther from the station than I expected. That's the only difficulty.

Clean room and facilities. Big lockers. Comfortable beds but no privacy curtains on beds which would make it better! Pleasant, quiet garden, nice to sit out in. Staff were helpful and friendly and flexible with check in times. Not walking distance into Bologna centre but good easy public transport
