The upstairs loft area sleeps six there are three daybeds with trundles and there is an additional pull out couch in the living room which features an open floor plan and a 60” Vizio smart TV.From the moment you walk in the front door you will notice the soaring exposed beam ceiling and completely open floor plan with 10 foot custom kitchen island with seating for six, and additional table and chairs with seating up to 6. The kitchen is a cooks dream, all brand new appliances and utensils it is fully stocked with all essentials and there is plenty of room to move around. It is open to the living room and can easily accommodate family and friends. There is a very private covered deck that looks into the woods with an outdoor table with seating for six a ceiling fan and gas grill.The basement has a large playroom for the kids with a 60" Vizio smart TV, leather sectional couch, hanging chairs and professional size air hockey table. There is also a large laundry room with new full sized washer and dryer. Everything in the home is brand new including very comfortable beds, bedding, furniture, all appliances, utensils, cookware and TVs so that you may have a trouble free and comfortable stay in our home. Amazing location located 1/2 mile from Hurricane Marina and all they have to offer from boat rentals, supplies and seasonal weekend restaurant. Floating Mill campground and day use beach area are just around the corner from our home. There are multiple hiking locations within a short drive. The cabin is just one hour from Nashville, and just 2 hours from Knoxville and Chattanooga. There are so many things to explore and enjoy in the area from boating, to canoeing, kayaking, tubing, and fly fishing on the Caney Fork River. You will truly get to explore nature and unplug! Located only fifteen minutes away from Sligo Marina, 75 minutes from downtown Nashville and an hour from the airport. At over 4,000 square feet, the spacious five bedroom, three full bath, two-story lakehouse is a quiet and secluded retreat located on a dead end cul-de-sac. Only two houses are on the street. It is the perfect destination for a family vacation, reunion or getaway with friends.Recently decorated with comfortable, plush furniture, Hilltop Haven invites an afternoon on the deck with a 180-degree view of the lake or a lively day of jet skis and pontoon boat rides (available for rental at Sligo Marina). There is no better getaway for watching the famous autumnal Tennessee leaves change while relaxing in the hammock, sitting in the adirondack chairs around the firepit, or grilling out on the two story deck overlooking Center Hill Lake. Hilltop Haven has something for everyone. The surrounding view of trees and lake with the sounds of countless Tennessee birds can become the soundtrack to your most relaxing vacation yet. The front yard and surrounding area have seen kite-flying, frisbee games, and many short hikes for all levels of experience. There are two bikes available to explore. At the heart of the house is a culinary foodies dream kitchen with brand new stainless appliances, including a Keurig and Vitamix. Seating for fourteen in the dining room and breakfast room. A large gas grill is located on the top deck, with sweeping views of Center Hill Lake, with seating for six at the table on the upper deck. The house sleeps eighteen including two bunk beds, a fold out sofa, located in the fifth bedroom/playroom and two Queen inflatable air mattresses. Three bedrooms and two full bathrooms are located on the main floor and two bedrooms and one bathroom are on the first floor. Flatscreens and Apple TVs (use your own login for netflix, hulu and amazon) are in the living room, den, playroom and master bedroom. We do not have cable TV. SONOS sound system keeps music streaming throughout the home, and wireless internet keeps you connected in every room. Wood burning fireplaces (wood provided) are located in the living room and master bedroom. Oversized washer and dryer and an ice maker are in the laundry room. We would love to share our beautiful home on Center Hill Lake with you and your family! It is very unique in that it is one of only a few homes on the lake located on the water. You can, literally, back your boat from the house right into the water. While spending the day out boating you can drop off anyone who needs a rest at the house and then pick them back up with ease. It is a 50 yard paved walk to the boat launch!The home is two levels. It has 3 bedrooms and 2 full baths, but has beds for 10. The upstairs has a covered back porch for easy parking and handicap access. You can actually access both the upstairs of the home and the downstairs without using stairs if needed. The kitchen has modern appliances and is fully stocked with dishes, utensils and amenities, including microwave, blender, coffer maker, crock pot and griddle. There is a large dining room table and smaller side table if you need more seating.We now have internet with 250 Mbps WiFi if you need to connect remotely!The upstairs family room has a 50 inch HD TV and DVD player with DISH cable, including ESPN. There is plenty of seating for large groups and a selection of DVDs and board games for the family.There is spacious front porch that runs the length of the home and is accessed through two separate, beautiful sliding doors. There is a large amount of outdoor seating for watching all the wildlife and a large gas grill.On the lower level you can play games on the ping pong table or separate pool table, or watch games on the 50 inch HD TV in the downstairs family room! There is also a laundry room with washer and dryer.Have fun in the large front yard playing ball or picking apples from one of the 3 apple trees that bear fruit in mid to late summer. You can also enjoy a fire out under the stars and roasting smores in the fire pit near the house. There is also a canoe to carry down to the water to quietly explore the lake!We are located just 15 minutes from I-40 by car. It is just under an hour to Nashville International Airport and is a very easy drive. We are 15 minutes from the town of Cookeville, where Tennessee Tech is located. There is every restaurant you can imagine, along with movie theaters, bowling alley and roller skating in case you have a rainy day. We are less than 10 minutes by car from Cookeville Boat Dock Marina. By boat, we are less than 10 minutes from Hurricane Marina and are located right at the entrance to Mine Like Creek - famous for its wakeboarding and water skiing conditions.
