You'll enter the front door into the living room with Roku TV for streaming your favorite shows-- we've pre-loaded a ton of apps for your use. And don't worry about logging out before checkout--Guest Mode on the TV ensures that your login info is removed as long as you enter your checkout date on the initial screen. Past the living room, dining room and office desk, you'll discover a comfy loft bed with high ceilings, sofa bed for lounging and another individual TV. There's a closet with dresser here for your belongings to stow away comfortably. We have a de-humidifier in the basement next to the laundry set, and it's super important that guests leave this alone. We do provide laundry detergent for your use. We do provide window AC to help cool the home. AC is a seasonal amenity. If booking between the months of October and May, please inquire if AC is a required amenity for your stay. We do have recording devices on the outside of the home, front and back, for safety and security. These cameras do record video and sound, but we respect guest privacy so we only look at the cameras if an issue arises during or after your stay. The front camera is a Ring door bell at the front door and faces away from the home. The back camera is on the house facing the alley. No cameras are mounted in, nor do they face/record any private, guest-only areas. We do require guests to e-sign a vacation rental agreement for stays of any length prior to check in. We request guests fill out a check-in form so that we can best prepare for your stay. Complete terms regarding the guest screening can be provided by the property manager. This is an incredible, older home with quirks about which prospective guests should be aware. With the exception of the bathroom, it features all-original wooden windows. One window in the primary bedroom is currently painted shut. All other non-picture windows do open, providing lots of opportunity for fresh air, but should not be forced open/shut if they stick. If you encounter problems, please let us know. Another attribute of this home is its stone foundation. A de-humidifier is connected to run full-time and ensure this is a pleasant space to work out in or to do laundry. We do provide laundry detergent for your use. Neighbors on both sides have pets and, therefore, the animals may cause some noise now and then. Please be aware of barking. This is a hugely pet-friendly neighborhood. Neighbors on both sides have dogs and the potential for barking exists. It is also a wildlife corridor—you may see deer, turkeys, or other creatures during your stay! We charge $20 per night for the first pet, and $15 per night for additional pets Pet fees are nonrefundable and will be requested through the resolution center after the reservation is confirmed and prior to your stay. Pet fees must be paid prior to check in or your door code will not function at the time of check in. The backyard is large and private, with plenty of room for play, hanging out, and relaxing. During your stay, there may be an ever-evolving green space that is intentionally left “wild”-- including native plants and wild flowers. While most reservations go through without a hitch, we understand that sometimes things happen.
