"The location is an absolute banger! Beside nanjing road, major stores, plenty of attractions close by. You can walk to the bund in 10 mins. The hotel itself is decently good. The room is clean and amenities are available. Breakfast was decent, you get what you pay for. Then again, there are many other food choices outside. Getting halal was very easy."

Atour Hotel Nanjing East Road, Shanghai on the Bund

Atour Hotel Nanjing East Road, Shanghai on the Bund

📍 No. 105-1 Fuzhou Road, Huangpu District, Shanghai
★★★★ 9.5 (9,494 reviews)

"Location is its biggest advantage - conveniently located within walking distance of Nanjing Road Pedestrian Street, The Bund, shopping malls, and numerous dining options. The room was clean, well-maintained, and comfortable. However, it was relatively compact, which may be a consideration for travellers with larger luggage. One drawback was the room view. The room had a small window with limited natural light and little to no view. As the hotel does not have high floors, guests should not expect city skyline or Bund views. Overall, it is a good choice for travellers who prioritise location, cleanliness, and convenience, though those seeking spacious rooms or scenic views may wish to consider other options."

"The service was excellent, and the staff were very polite and helpful. Is located at north bund and requires crossing a bridge to The bund, but overall the stay was comfortable and pleasant."

MaxX By Steigenberger on the Bund Shanghai Hotels in Shanghai

MaxX By Steigenberger on the Bund Shanghai

"First, the positives: the view was excellent, the bedding comfortable, and it offered good value for money. The service was also prompt in responding to issues. Now for the negatives: the hygiene was really poor. There was a visible, thick layer of dust on the floor, next to the bathtub, and on the cabinets. It felt like the room hadn't been cleaned in two weeks. Luckily, after I reported it, they immediately moved me to a new room, which was much cleaner. Secondly, the wallpaper on the TV wall had a long, unsightly wrinkle, which made it look a bit cheap. Also, the showerhead in the bathroom was fixed and couldn't be adjusted, making showering very uncomfortable. There's a clear difference compared to a Waldorf Astoria, but then again, the price reflects that. Overall, it was an average stay, neither outstanding nor terrible."

"The hotel is very convenient for people want to go to Disneyland. The service is good, got free upgrade for my room. Even decided to cancel another hotel and extend my stay here."

JOYA Hotel Shanghai Lujiazui Hotels in Shanghai

JOYA Hotel Shanghai Lujiazui

"They upgraded us to a family room. The window-side table was just moved to where the TV is, and some chairs were removed. So, the space hasn't actually changed at all. Also, I have to say, that recliner must have saved the owner's life, considering its condition, and they still haven't thought about replacing it."

"This hotel is a hidden gem for families with kids in Songjiang! The Kaiyuan Manju Hotel in Songjiang truly understands what parents need. The location is absolutely fantastic, close to Happy Valley and the Smurfs Theme Park, and they even offer a dedicated shuttle bus, which is super convenient. The family rooms are playfully decorated, and the kids' facilities are comprehensive. The 6th-floor kids' club is a lifesaver, giving parents some free time, and the heated pool's shallow area is perfect for little ones to splash around. The rooms are clean, spacious, and the soundproofing is excellent, ensuring the kids get a good night's sleep. The breakfast offers a great selection of local specialties, and the dinner buffet is excellent value for money with fresh ingredients. The staff are attentive and provide thoughtful service, and the facilities are top-notch. It’s a one-stop-shop for entertaining the kids and makes family travel a breeze. Highly recommended for those traveling with children!"

"Having stayed in many high-end hotels, this one left a particularly unique impression on me. It perfectly blends art and comfort. The room amenities are comprehensive, and the quality of the products is excellent. Zora was incredibly reliable, handling all the check-in arrangements in advance. The communication throughout was simple and efficient, with no complicated procedures. The overall experience felt reassuring and comfortable, offering great value for money and an excellent experience. It was magical to open the curtains in the early morning and see Shanghai's beautiful sunrise skyline."

Atour Hotel (Puming Road) Lujiazui Riverside Center

"No disappointment with Atour's new series, the environment is great, and it's very quiet at night. The facilities are brand new since it just opened, but you need to open the windows during the day to air it out a bit. It's just a short walk to the riverside, which is lovely for an evening stroll. Breakfast was pretty good too. The only minor drawback is that it's a bit far from the subway station, but it's a pleasant walk from Binjiang."

Floral Hotel · Chongming Yueting, Time Village Hotel (Xijiagang Branch)

"This was my first time staying at this guesthouse, and the environment and service were both very good. I came with my parents and kids, and we rented a few rooms. We ate at a nearby farmhouse restaurant, and the food was delicious. Breakfast was convenient; you could buy it nearby and bring it back, or order takeout. In the evening, we went to a nearby fishing village to watch the sunset, which was very relaxing. We also visited the wetland park. I'd love to come back again sometime."

Primus Hotel Shanghai Sanjiagang Hotels in Shanghai

Primus Hotel Shanghai Sanjiagang

"The environment truly exceeded our expectations! It was very clean and well-maintained. The hotel garden was meticulously cared for; we took a family stroll after dinner and admired the perfectly trimmed flowers and plants. The biggest surprise was seeing a lush green lawn right from our room window – it really brightened up our mornings. Although it's not too far from the airport, the soundproofing was excellent; we couldn't hear any airplane noise at night. The surroundings are very quiet, not as bustling as the city center, making it perfect for a relaxing getaway with seniors. Special thanks to Melissa, who was very nice and professional."
