Le Meridien Shanghai Sheshan
"The Le Méridien Shimei Bay is perfect for families with kids! The pet park is adorable, and you can get up close and personal feeding alpacas, rabbits, peacocks, and pigeons. The animals are clean and gentle, and the feeding times are well-managed. My child absolutely loved it and had a fantastic experience. Jerry's service was incredibly prompt and helpful. We're planning to come back again this summer!"
Shanghai Yunzhi Homestay
"Our stay at this Airbnb was absolutely wonderful! If you're looking for a comfortable and family-friendly place near Disneyland, this is definitely a top pick. 1. Great Location - The Airbnb is just a 15-minute drive from Disneyland, which made it super convenient for us when we wanted to visit the park. It was close enough to enjoy all the excitement of Disneyland but far enough to escape the crowds and enjoy some peace and quiet when we returned. 2. Incredible Host - The host was one of the friendliest people we’ve met! From the moment we arrived, they made us feel completely at home. They went above and beyond by cutting fresh fruits for us to enjoy, and even offered to transport us to and from Disneyland. Their hospitality really made our stay extra special. 3. Great Activities for Kids - There are a variety of activities for the little ones to enjoy during the stay. Our kids loved playing table tennis, swinging in the yard, and playing with the toys that the host thoughtfully provided. It was a great way to relax and keep the kids entertained when we weren’t at Disneyland. 4. Clean and Tidy Rooms - The rooms were spotless and well-maintained. It’s clear that the host takes great care in ensuring that everything is clean and comfortable. We felt very relaxed and at ease in our space, which made for a very enjoyable stay. 5. Perfect for Families - This Airbnb is definitely ideal for families traveling with kids. The room was spacious enough for all of us, and the activities provided made it a very kid-friendly environment. It’s the perfect place to stay if you want to enjoy Disneyland while also having a comfortable and homely place to return to. Overall: We had a fantastic time staying here and would absolutely recommend it to families visiting Disneyland. The host’s kindness, the convenient location, and the family-friendly amenities made it the perfect choice for us. We’ll definitely be back the next time we visit the area!"
Atour X Hotel, City Beach, Jinshan Wanda Plaza, Shanghai
"This is my second time choosing Atour for a business trip, and it genuinely outperforms Hanting in many aspects. The rooms are more spacious, and the breakfast is significantly better than Hanting's, offering a much wider variety of options. Atour also provides complimentary drinks. This time, they even upgraded us to a family room, which was a fantastic surprise! Haha. Highly recommended!"
Fengjing Hotel (Shanghai Jinshan City Beach Branch)
"The room is clean and tidy, the service is good, the surrounding environment is nice and quiet."
Jinglai Hotel·Bushe (Shanghai Nanjing East Road Bund Branch)
A stylish boutique hotel in central Shanghai, offering modern, comfortable rooms with a minimalist design and easy access to Nanjing East Road, The Bund, shopping streets, and major transport links—making it an ideal base for city exploration and sightseeing.
SAVHE Hotel North Bund Shanghai
"The service was excellent, and the staff were very polite and helpful. Is located at north bund and requires crossing a bridge to The bund, but overall the stay was comfortable and pleasant."
MaxX By Steigenberger on the Bund Shanghai
"First, the positives: the view was excellent, the bedding comfortable, and it offered good value for money. The service was also prompt in responding to issues. Now for the negatives: the hygiene was really poor. There was a visible, thick layer of dust on the floor, next to the bathtub, and on the cabinets. It felt like the room hadn't been cleaned in two weeks. Luckily, after I reported it, they immediately moved me to a new room, which was much cleaner. Secondly, the wallpaper on the TV wall had a long, unsightly wrinkle, which made it look a bit cheap. Also, the showerhead in the bathroom was fixed and couldn't be adjusted, making showering very uncomfortable. There's a clear difference compared to a Waldorf Astoria, but then again, the price reflects that. Overall, it was an average stay, neither outstanding nor terrible."
Shanghai Garden Rezen Hotel
"Fantastic, family-friendly hotel with exceptional amenities and service! We had a highly pleasant and happy stay at the Shanghai Rezen Garden Hotel from May 31st to June 3rd. It is an incredibly convenient and family-friendly place to stay, especially for foreign travelers. The Room: Our room was very large, spotlessly clean, and featured convenient automatic curtains and toilets. It also included a comfortable sofa bed, which easily accommodated our family. The hotel thoughtfully provided kid-sized slippers and toothbrushes, which was a lovely touch. The main bed was quite spacious, though the mattress comfort level could be slightly improved. Additionally, the shower head spray was a bit too strong for young children, so a softer pressure option would be a great upgrade. The Food: The breakfast buffet offers a wonderful spread of both traditional Chinese and international options. The kids thoroughly enjoyed the menu, and a huge plus for families is that breakfast is free for children under 1.3 meters! I personally highly recommend the cream puffs and fresh soy milk—they were absolutely delicious. The Amenities (A Huge Plus!): The amenities here are superb! Having a supermarket right inside the hotel was a major highlight for us as foreigners; it quickly became our go-to spot for daily breads, drinks, and snacks. On top of that, there is a great souvenir shop on Level 1 that sells Disney merchandise (perfect if you want to grab a Disney hat or last-minute gifts) and they even provide stroller rentals, which is incredibly convenient. The hotel also features an indoor playground with unlimited access for the kids. This gave us a much-needed breather to relax in the lobby and organize our daily itinerary while the children were happily entertained. Furthermore, the lobby hosts a helpful tour agent and coordinates multi-destination shuttles that make us want to return on our next trip to Shanghai. To top it off, the 24-hour Chinese restaurant serves delicious food delivered right to your room by a robot, which the kids absolutely loved. The Service: Truly awesome. The coordination for the airport, Disney, and zoo shuttles was seamless. The cleaning auntie was incredibly kind and proactively provided extra bottled water for our family. A special shout-out to the front desk team: I forgot my vitamins, and they went above and beyond by helping me purchase them via ******* and delivering them to my room-door in less than 45mins. I appreciated this so much! Overall, we had a fantastic experience and highly recommend this hotel to families visiting Shanghai!"
JOYA Hotel Shanghai Lujiazui
"Overall, a pretty good hotel experience! We booked the Songya River View Room and added an extra bed; the view was lovely! Lucie proactively contacted us the day before to confirm details and requests. She arranged for two complimentary breakfasts for the child, had the extra bed set up in the room beforehand, and there were welcome fruits too! Very thoughtful and considerate! Thank you, Lucie!"
Holiday Inn Shanghai International Resort by IHG
"Our stay was absolutely fantastic! The room was spotless and very clean, and the surrounding scenery was lovely. The staff were incredibly warm and welcoming, and the breakfast was delicious. We also really enjoyed the mini hotpot in the evening – it was a unique touch!"
Shanghai Lujiazui Riverside Center IntercityHotel
A modern hotel in Shanghai’s Lujiazui Riverside area, offering comfortable, well-designed rooms with views of the city and river, practical amenities, and easy access to the financial district, The Bund, and nearby shopping and business hubs.
Wassim R Hotel
"Here’s very good. Include breakfast for 2pp and have washing machine in the room. Room is big."
New Century Grand Hotel Shanghai Songjiang
"I have to commend this hotel! The environment is elegant and clean, and the room layout is warm and spacious. The bedding is skin-friendly and comfortable, and the room has great natural light and ventilation, making for a truly relaxing stay. The staff are gentle and polite, and the overall experience was excellent! ٩(◦`꒳´◦)۶"
Shanghai Maixinge International Hotel (Zhoupu Metro Station Wanda Mall)
"The room's amenities were very complete, and it was cleaned thoroughly. The hotel staff are very polite. As a repeat guest who's stayed many times, I always choose this hotel because it's so close to Disney. I'll definitely be coming back often in the future. I'm very satisfied!"
MEHOOD LESTIE Hotel (Shanghai Xujiahui Wukang Road)
"The thoughtful amenities like the cozy tea corner and ample storage truly elevate the living experience. Our butler, Lily, was proactively attentive and incredibly efficient. When we needed a room upgrade, she handled it swiftly and seamlessly. The location is wonderfully quiet and peaceful, far from the city's hustle and bustle, ensuring a superb rest. The entire place was meticulously cleaned; not a speck of dust or hair in sight – perfectly spotless!"
Atour Hotel (Puming Road) Lujiazui Riverside Center
"No disappointment with Atour's new series, the environment is great, and it's very quiet at night. The facilities are brand new since it just opened, but you need to open the windows during the day to air it out a bit. It's just a short walk to the riverside, which is lovely for an evening stroll. Breakfast was pretty good too. The only minor drawback is that it's a bit far from the subway station, but it's a pleasant walk from Binjiang."
Floral Hotel · Chongming Yueting, Time Village Hotel (Xijiagang Branch)
"I forgot to take pictures, but the room was clean and tidy, exactly as described. The guesthouse owner was very kind and attentive, answering all my questions. The guesthouse is very close to the dam; walking there in the evening to watch the sunset and the night view of the Yangtze River Bridge was very pleasant. Although it was a hot day, the river breeze made it very comfortable and cool. Barbecues are available in the courtyard, but you need to book in advance and bring your own ingredients. I plan to have a barbecue there next time; this little courtyard is quite comfortable."
Primus Hotel Shanghai Sanjiagang
"The environment truly exceeded our expectations! It was very clean and well-maintained. The hotel garden was meticulously cared for; we took a family stroll after dinner and admired the perfectly trimmed flowers and plants. The biggest surprise was seeing a lush green lawn right from our room window – it really brightened up our mornings. Although it's not too far from the airport, the soundproofing was excellent; we couldn't hear any airplane noise at night. The surroundings are very quiet, not as bustling as the city center, making it perfect for a relaxing getaway with seniors. Special thanks to Melissa, who was very nice and professional."
Shanghai Sanjiagang Greenland THE QUBE Hotel (Pudong Airport)
"Good hotel, we got an upgrade. Location is abandoned and the hotel is too big for in the winter. Less staff. I think it's better to visit in the summer. We had a very abandoned feeling in the winter. Overall the service was good and the staff was very friendly!"
West Room B&B
"The room was very heavy with formaldehyde. There was no one at the front desk after 16:00, and no one was called when I called inside. When I waited until 16:30, I kept calling the front desk and was transferred to Jinjiang. A little boy (I couldn’t find him at first, so I went there to ask) He told me the address of Xixiang's house to go inside. I called him and said they were off work. I said you didn't tell us just now and let us go inside. I asked him if we could still stay, and he said come over), I really wanted to leave at that time, but after thinking about it, my daughter was also tired. I originally canceled the reservation, but then I made a new reservation. I saw that there was a discount at the previous price and now it comes with breakfast, so I made a reservation with breakfast. It was the same after I went there. For a long time, first ask me if you have checked out. I won’t say the subtext. If I said you checked out, wouldn’t you make a new reservation? After spending a long time giving me the room card, I went to have breakfast in the morning. I had to go through several halls from the 5th floor to the 1st floor. However, the aunt in the breakfast room said that it would not work without a breakfast coupon. I communicated with her and asked. Did other colleagues say they didn’t give you breakfast coupons? In the end, we were allowed to eat, but it was very unpleasant. If the young man forgot, it would be a service failure. If he did not give it on purpose, it would be bad. The key point is that the decoration of the new house in 9509 smells huge. I can't breathe as soon as I go in. I have a headache for a day. My daughter My cough got worse and I went to the ** to buy some medicine at night. Both of my throats were hoarse when I woke up in the morning. I felt like I had made human-shaped charcoal and inhaled formaldehyde all night. The smell of formaldehyde on the cement walls and cabinets of the toilet was very strong. Not only was I angry, but I also made me sick. , I always default to good reviews, and I am not someone who likes to give low-star reviews. I just want to remind the residents in the future not to book a group-buying hotel based on facial expressions. The service is a mess. I’m not really angry. I really don’t want to type so many words. , and wasting my time"
