YOLO PLAYERI recently stayed at Scandic Helsinki Airport and had a really pleasant experience overall. The location was unbeatable — literally a short walk from the airport terminal, which made it perfect for my early morning flight.
The room was clean and modern, with comfortable beds that made it easy to get a good night’s sleep after a long day of travel. The Wi-Fi worked well throughout the room, and the stylish design gave the space a cozy, Nordic feel.
I also really enjoyed the breakfast buffet. There was a good variety of options, and it was a great way to fuel up before heading out or heading to the airport.
The hotel staff were friendly and helpful, and check-in/check-out was smooth and efficient. The overall atmosphere felt calm and relaxed, which was perfect between flights
If I had one tiny suggestion, it would be that some rooms feel a bit compact — but for an airport hotel that’s typical and didn’t bother me much.
Overall, I’d definitely recommend this hotel for anyone needing a convenient, clean, and comfortable stay right by the airport — especially for short stays or transit days

Pros:
It's close to the airport, within walking distance or just one train stop away. There's a train station right next door, making it convenient to get to the city center in about 30 minutes.
Cons:
I understand that disposable toiletries aren't common in Europe, but they didn't even provide disposable slippers. Also, if you don't tell the front desk in advance, no one comes to clean your room.
The bed was also very small; I was afraid to even turn over.
I would recommend it if you're only in Helsinki for a short layover.

Peaceful place, no noise from the traffic and otherwise also very quiet.
Room had tv, refrigerator and a comfy chair beside the bed.
What can I say? For this price I say this a steal. Also breakfast was very good.
I fully recommend this at least for solo travelleres like I.
