It is the best hotel in the area! It is just off the highway, the location is good, the next door to two restaurants, very convenient. The room is a bit small, the price is small, and the sanitary conditions are OK. Business trips, enough.

I recently stayed at the Hôtel de Bourbon (the Mercure one) in Bourges, and honestly, it felt like stepping into a little piece of history while still having all the modern comforts you could want. My room was a classic double, spacious, clean, and very comfortable. The bed was excellent—properly supportive after a day of wandering around—and the bathroom had a great walk-in shower with good water pressure. Everything felt freshly renovated (they did a big update around 2018), with a nice blend of modern touches and the old abbey character. Some rooms overlook the park, which must be lovely in summer.

It's very good but we regretted it's so far from the city of Bourges

Good location, close by to connecting main roads, and toll roads. Eating places within walking distance, and the staff welcome and attention was first class. Hotel needs a little bit of TLC, but I have to the Aircon in the reception area and the bedrooms was very welcome.

Hotel is very close to the station. It is very convenient. Not immediately understood that the respiratory is across the road, but oriented) the room is small, the underwear is clean, the bed is comfortable! To the center on foot 7 minutes. We took 3 hours without hurry to check the city. Hotel recommends!

A strange smell upon entering the room. No electrical outlets at the headboard. No courtesy tray with a kettle, coffee, or tea. In the bathroom, the cups aren't vacuum-sealed. The bathtub drains poorly, and a strange smell occurs when the water runs. The same smell as upon entering the room. No air conditioning, but a fan sits on the desk. The doorbell doesn't work. As a result, the door stays open if you don't close it. Breakfast-wise, for almost €10, you'd expect better. No omelet or grilled ham. It's really basic. This is still a decent hotel for the price, but it deserves a refresh and some maintenance.

Fred on front desk was amazing so polite and helpfull, I would highly recommend this hotel
