Nagano City Hotels with Breakfast

Hotel location is quite near to Nagano Station, just a walking distance of 5-6 minutes. Most of the hotel staffs can communicate in English. Check-in and check-out were smooth and efficient. Free coffee & snacks, sake tasting, toiletries and luggage storage at hotel lobby. In the room, coffee machine and mini massage chair provided. Everything you could need is provided. Super satisfied.

Had a great experience staying at Toyoko-Inn Nagano Higashi-eki. Rooms were clean, housekeeping made sure you have clean towels everyday, breakfast was great. One small problem - they have 3 washing machine but 2 dryers. Great location near JR train stn, plenty to see and shop. We walked to Zenkoji Temple and stumbled upon the Sakura garden and had a mini picnic there. Will definitely come back to this hotel again the next time we come to Nagano!

It's super convenient for Togakushi Shrine, not far from the station, but you need to book train tickets in advance. The train to Tokyo also departs from platform 7, and you'll need to buy tickets and select your seats beforehand for that too. Toyoko Inn, as always, offers great value for money. I could easily stay for a month; it's definitely the top choice for budget travelers.

I stayed here for a live concert and was extremely satisfied with this hotel! The room was a bit small, but it's super close to the station. Plus, it was so convenient to be able to store my luggage in a locker both before and after check-in, without having to go through the front desk. For breakfast, the main dish was a burger from the burger joint next door, which came with a drink, and there were also many other side dishes available – I was totally full. All the staff were very kind too. I'd definitely like to stay here again.

The hotel has a pretty convenient central location and a nice view. The room interiors are clean, but the soundproofing isn't great. The breakfast selection is quite limited. I hope the hotel will make some upgrades to improve the guest experience.

Had a really pleasant stay overall. The place was very clean and well-maintained, and the location was convenient for getting around. Service was excellent 👍 staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Amenities were also complete and comfortable. Would definitely recommend for couples looking for a smooth and enjoyable stay.

The hotel is nice, from the station about 10 minutes walk almost in a straight line, wake up. The room was originally wrong, it was reserved for smokers, even though we don't smoke, the room was given the appropriate one, the smell in it was just not very good, like for those who don't smoke at all, it started already on the floor.But the staff, fortunately, were able to find us a replacement for a non-smoking room, yes, less, yes one big bed instead of two, but with stunning mountain views and a coffee machine. This place is ~5mins walk from Zenkoji temple. neighborhood is peaceful at night. Shoes to be removed outside the accommodation. Rooms are on the 2nd floor so you'll have to carry your luggage up (there's no lift). Room (with window) is huge. You'll have to head downstairs to use the shared toilet and shared onsen (no toilet inside the room). We were only allowed 30mins of onsen time for 2 pax - couples weren't allowed to use the onsen concurrently so we had to go one after another (i'm not sure if the instructions got lost in translation..). Felt very rushed so i didnt really get to enjoy the onsen experience, but overall was nice and clean. Interesting 6.30am tour around the area and within the temple itself, followed by a simple vegetarian breakfast (porridge with omakase-styled sides with miso soup) back at the accommodation. The morning tour lasted from 6.30am - 8.30am. The accommodation provided a fleece blanket to each pax to bring to Zenkoji temple to keep us warm during the morning praying ceremony. We went on 30 Dec and it was SO COLD. Overall interesting experience but accommodation price is pretty steep IMO.

Despite my late check-in at around 10+ PM, she went the extra mile to warmly greet me and ensure that my room arrangement was smooth and comfortable. What truly touched me was her thoughtful initiative after learning that I had to leave early for a day tour and needed to be at Nagano Station by 0640 hrs. She kindly prepared and packed breakfast for me in advance so that I would not miss my meal before the trip. Such genuine hospitality, attentiveness, and dedication deserve to be highly recognised and commended. Small actions like these create unforgettable experiences for guests. Very good location, just opposite the train station. Reception is on level 2, but staff is helpful to help carry luggages to and fro ground floor. Room is small and toilet is squeezy, but still decent for a short stay. There is a Shampoo Bar at the reception to pick up stoiletries. Breakfast is good, the complimentary soba noodles on selected weekday nights is also great. Nice view from the 10th floor, and also free space for customers to chill during the day. Water was not provided complimentary to customers but instead was earned through a game.
