GGuest UserOur stay was truly amazing, made even more special by the excellent accommodation and outstanding service we received throughout our visit. From the very beginning, everything was handled seamlessly, allowing us to relax and fully enjoy the experience. A big part of what made our trip so smooth and stress-free was the incredible assistance from the manager, Ethen. She was very easy to talk to, approachable, and genuinely attentive to our needs. Even before we arrived, she had already taken care of all the important arrangements for us. From organizing our pick-up at the port to ensuring a comfortable transfer to the hotel, everything was perfectly coordinated. What impressed us even more was how she helped arrange all our tours. We didn’t have to worry about planning or logistics at all—every activity was thoughtfully scheduled, making our trip both convenient and enjoyable. Her effort and dedication really made a difference, and it felt like we were in very capable hands the entire time. Shoutout also to their staff Kate for ensuring our boat tickets. The accommodation itself was equally wonderful—clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, providing us with the perfect place to rest after our daily activities. Everything about our stay felt organized, relaxing, and enjoyable. Overall, we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The combination of great accommodation and Ethen’s-the manager exceptional service made our stay unforgettable. We highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a hassle-free and well-organized getaway.

GGuest UserOur stay was exactly what we needed, a relaxing weekend to bond with family in such a comfortable place. The rooms were spotlessly clean, and both Johnny and Victoria were wonderful hosts, always attentive to our needs and even exceeding our expectations. The shared space with a beautiful mountain view was perfect for unwinding and simply enjoying the moment. We also loved the breakfast selection, especially the freshly made homemade pandesal, which was a real highlight for us. They also have an amazing cook, Priscilla, who prepared sumptuous and delicious meals for us. Overall, it’s a place I would highly recommend to all types of travellers.

GGuest UserThe most important thing to say is that this is not a 4* hotel. This is an average 3* hotel. In terms of level. Below is a description in order. Room. I had a room with a sea view on the 2nd floor. The sea view is one third. Since the trees are growing and blocking the view, you look at the trees. And there are many rooms like this. Maybe for some this is a plus. There is a small balcony to sit, breathe some air and smoke, if you need to. The room itself is simple, but clean. It is obvious that it is not new. I would not say that it is broken down, but parts of the walls were painted at different times, this is visible, there are smudges, there is little furniture. There is no usual air conditioner, there is a fan unit in the wall at knee level. You cannot set the temperature, there are only two knobs - air flow strength and cooling strength. Directly to cool - no, the air conditioner did not cool the air, it made it a little fresher. That is, it is more of a fan than an air conditioner. It was impossible to cool the air at night and then sleep comfortably, it quickly became hot, and leaving this fan overnight was inconvenient - it was very noisy and blew on the bed. I had to get up and turn it on and off a couple of times a night. Bathroom. For some reason, shelves for clothes and shoes and a safe were placed here. Inconvenient. The safe did not work at all, it was all rusty. Of the toiletries, the hotel only provides liquid soap and shampoo. Poor for a 4* hotel, which it calls itself. No shower cap, no cotton accessories, no body lotion, no slippers - nothing. The water pressure is quite weak, the hot water comes from the water heater, so it is sometimes warmer, sometimes colder. Towels were changed regularly, the bed linen was simply tucked in. The room itself was cleaned well. Only the sand was not always swept clean, I had to ask again. There is a small teapot, coffee and green tea, a small refrigerator. I did not find a hair dryer and iron. Breakfast is included in the price, but it is simple. 2 pieces of toast, butter, jam, scrambled eggs, some fruit, tea/coffee. You can order something more decent from the menu, but for an extra fee. You can order lunch and dinner in the hotel restaurant. The prices are a little higher than in the restaurants on the beach, but the food is very good, the portions are large (unlike the beach restaurants, where it is problematic to find good food). The staff is very responsive, they will do everything you ask. The hotel territory is cleaned well. But there is little space in front of the hotel on the beach, so there are also few sun loungers. If the hotel is occupied, then there will definitely not be enough sun loungers for everyone. The entrance to the sea is pebbles with sand. In the morning, when the tide is in, it is comfortable to enter. But after lunch, when the water recedes, it is less comfortable, the pebbles on the bottom are exposed, it is painful to enter barefoot, it is better in aqua shoes. A separate thing that I did not like was the stray dogs. They wander everywhere, they are not chased away, they are not aggressive, but they still itch, reproduce, bite right there in front of your eyes. There are traders who walk around offering all sorts of crap, but they are not very intrusive, although they pester you consistently, even if they see you for the fifth time in a day. In general, it is worth saying that for the Philippines, the hotel is very good. The rest around are even worse)) But you need to understand that these are real 3* and do not expect 4* service.

NNecati DemircanThe hotel location is not perfect. But I liked the hotel atmosphere. The hotel is between Sabang and Palangan beach. Also you can go there by tricycle within 15 minutes (30 peso for person) or walk within 50 minutes. Also You should try the View Point restaurant near the hotel, which has amazing view. I think it would be fantastic if the hotel added breakfast, or sold alcohol, or offered small things like slippers and shampoo. I would be go to hotel if I ever come back.

EElenaE.We chose this place by reviews and for its location. When we arrived we had to sign an agreement with the property rules which are in abundance: from “no outside food or drinks at the property” to fines for stained towels and sheets. Though there are “shhh” signs everywhere I woke up both mornings of our stay because someone was walking and talking loudly right outside our door. The room is really small close to tiny, there’s no fridge (ok, that’s the type of room without one), the safe didn’t work but the friendly and helpful staff kindly stored our valuables in theirs. The place is beautifully located and the food is ok.

GGuest UserAbsolutely cannot recommend this place highly enough. It's a litte further down the sea front but tucked away from the noise while still being right on the water. The room was immaculate and spacious, cleaned everyday and (surprisingly) mosquito-free. The resaurant offers fantastic food at a great price and the whole place has a family run vibe. And it's this that I rate so highly about the place. I was solo travelling over the Christmas holiday and the ladies that run the hotel were so so welcoming and friendly. They offered for me to join their Christmas dinner and kept breakfast open to me 15-20 minutes late so I could catch the 9am dive and still eat when I came back. They were all so lovely, it didn't feel like I was alone over the festive period. If I am ever to visit PG again, I'll 100% be staying at Out of the Blue. Thank you so much fo rhaving me and for all the laughs. Michael

GGuest UserThis hotel is very new and somewhat inconvenient. It is high on a hill which was not very accessible by walking as major roadworks complicated the route and also slowed traffic up and down. While only 10 minutes away from the main Sabang area (climbing down), the climb up made it unpleasant and inconvenient either on foot or in a vehicle. The room was simple with limited facilities (no fridge or TV) and not competitively priced compared to other hotels in the area. Breakfast was spam and rice. The pool area was unwelcoming (exposed and bare of furniture). Service and support is pleasant but minimal. The place was empty and a little sad when we stayed (even though the town was busy). We were quite glad to leave. I think the place needs development and is a work in progress and when ready, it might be nice, but not yet.

MMateja BokanThis is a very cute place to stay! The staff was very friendly, the room was comfortable, and the stay overall was enjoyable. The room was generally clean, with some details overlooked (like previous guest's receipt on the floor and a few other papers around the room, one of the towels was a bit dirty). The hotel only provides a toothbrush and a toothpaste (and shampoo and shower gel in the shower), but I found the lack of a bar of soap disappointing. The location is great, the hotel is right at the beach, and easily accessible. The hotel cafe is adorable, serves good food, and the staff is friendly and polite. As for the provided breakfast, I could choose from the breakfast menu at the cafe, and coffee was served directly. Overall, I would definitely recommend this adorable hotel to anyone visiting, it's charming and worth staying in!

SSteven ReginaldIt’s not a 5 star boutique but what it is- is amazing. Location right on the beach. Good food, beer cold and cheap, people remembered us, room secure with cold ac and a fridge. Got a free upgrade to a bungalow. Will 100% come back again. Photos are just outside the resort mostly. There was a typhoon off the coast for a couple days but that didn’t affect diving. Diver’s paradise!
