"The views are beautiful, and the rooftop jacuzzi is clean. However, the grounds and the room itself were a bit dirty. The breakfasts were good. Despite the less-than-perfect cleanliness and a bit of wear and tear, I would still come back here again."

"Comfortable stay 😊 Nice location, very close to Na Baan pier, reachable by walking distance.. I reached the stay by google map and asked around 😀 since their entrance is quite hidden-- That's the beauty of it, like secret paradise ✨ I came here on my RD of work.. My weekend getaway.. The hosts are very friendly and helpful.. I'm quite needy, hehe I need a certain color for my bed sheet, they provide. I need hairdryer, they provide. I need to rent a motorbike, they provide.. I need hot water, they have it ✨ For breakfast, I surely do eat a lot.. 1 thing, the toilet flush tank is not working properly unless I fill the tank manually.. But other than that, it's a very comfortable and cozy stay 😊 I will definitely come back soon. Since it's only 3 hours away from Bangkok 😁"

Amazing
GGuest UserThe hotel is beautiful, and the staff are friendly and helpful. However, there are several issues with the management system that need improvement. First, regarding room cleaning procedures: at most hotels and accommodations, the front desk keeps a spare key or key card so housekeeping can access rooms for cleaning when guests are out. At this property, guests are required to hang their room key outside the door until housekeeping finishes cleaning, sometimes as late as 2:00 PM. This is a serious security concern because anyone could potentially access the room while the key is left unattended outside. Second, if you are looking for a quiet and peaceful stay with good soundproofing, this hotel may not be the best choice. Noise from outside the room is easily heard throughout the day and night. Last night, shortly after midnight, I was awakened by a very loud group of people. When I went outside to investigate, I saw a group of guests drinking in the restaurant area located directly next to my room. The noise was so loud that I could not sleep. I politely asked why the restaurant was still open, as I had been informed during check-in that it closed at 10:00 PM. The guests told me that a staff member had opened the restaurant for them. I then politely asked them to lower their voices because my room was right next to the restaurant. I do not blame the guests at all. The responsibility lies with the hotel staff, who allowed the restaurant to be used after midnight despite the clearly stated closing time of 10:00 PM. Areas for improvement: 1. Guest safety and security — Guests should not be required to leave their room keys hanging outside their doors for housekeeping. 2. Enforcement of hotel policies — If the restaurant closes at 10:00 PM, that rule should be consistently followed. Future guests staying in rooms near the restaurant should not have to endure loud noise until 1:00 or 2:00 AM as I did. Overall, the hotel has potential, but better management and stricter adherence to its own policies would greatly improve the guest experience.

GGuest UserI can't understand how this hotel got such a high rating. They don't respond to emails. They don't answer questions on the Trip.com chat. Our booking was mixed up. We booked a 'Sweet' room, but they had us down for a 'DeLuxe' for some reason. The price was roughly the same when we booked. We asked to switch rooms (at check-in) and were moved from DeLuxe #3 to Sweet #2 for an additional 700 baht! I then asked to change from room #2 to #1. They said it was already booked. I pointed out that when booking, you only select the room type, not a specific room number. They got flustered... but still insisted that room #2 was the only option. For anyone booking: the best rooms with views from the window and the top deck are DeLuxe #1 and Sweet #1. The room wasn't clean; there was trash lying around. An empty chip bag was in the bin. This isn't just dirtiness – it's an indicator of poor standards. There was a used towel on the hanger. No bathrobes were provided. The top floor was sandy everywhere, including on the sun loungers. I guess they're trying to create a beach atmosphere :) The windows were dirty. The bathtub was worn. The air conditioning was noisy. They only give you one key card. If you leave the card in the slot when you step out of the room (e.g., to your own top floor), the door locks behind you (and you can't open it from the outside). If you take the card out, when you close the door, the electricity cuts off, with all the consequences – AC turns off, phones stop charging, etc. I asked for a second key card, but they refused. This is just ridiculous... they're cutting corners on AC... and on their reputation. As an option, you could bring an extension cord and plug it into the 'refrigerator' outlet :) Seriously... it's the 21st century. Overall, it's a so-so hotel. For this price, I think there are much better options. Its location, yes, is good. I understand the laid-back nature of the Thais, but there's a limit. I don't want to stress out on vacation, and who does! So, weighing all the pros and cons, the cons definitely outweigh the pros. I don't know about you, but we are definitely not coming back here. Especially for that money... there are genuinely decent options nearby. And my peace of mind is more important! Breakfasts... were decent. There's a tasty build-your-own soup with a rice base and meat (meatballs), mushrooms, various toppings, etc. A small bowl of fruit and a tiny bowl of yogurt with 3-4 blueberries and 2-3 kiwi slices. They also bring a plated portion with an omelet or two fried eggs, two sausages, two pieces of bacon, two small triangular pieces of sausage, etc. Overall, breakfast was more or less okay. There were no issues with the transfer from the hotel to Na Ban Pier. We took the ferry departing at 9:30 AM. The trip to Bali Hai Pier took 30 minutes. After a couple of ferries sank, they now seem to be counting passengers and trying to avoid overloading.

GGuest UserThe family who run the property are amazing. Best service I've received in years. Gave me a ride so I wouldn't miss the ferry, even gave me a lift to get my hair cut. Lovely little area for breakfast and free coffee and snacks 24hrs a day. The bed was very comfy and the rooms had an aircon, plus a fan, stocked fridge at cheap prices. Also gave four bottles of water daily. Close to the ferry port but quiet. Beaches within walking distance and only 20/30 baht with island taxis. would definitely stay again.

CCoco daniThe hotel is very clean and hygienic. The manager was very kind and answered my questions with sincerity. The restaurant and the place he recommended were also very good. The breakfast of the hotel was clean and nice. I achieved both relaxation and healing. I live in Pattaya, so I would like to make a reservation again when I visit again

MMs YuemingThe appearance largely matches the promotional pictures, but it's absolutely not worth the price. 1. The water pressure in the bathroom is extremely low, and hot water supply is delayed, making it very difficult to shower. Adjusting the water temperature is a nightmare – it's either too cold or too hot, and there are no markings for hot and cold taps, haha. It took us a whole day to figure it out. 2. The hot water tap on the bathroom sink was broken; we couldn't turn off the hot water. Every time we washed our hands, it was scalding hot, which was extremely annoying. 3. Breakfast consisted of fried eggs or poached eggs, along with two pathetic slices of bread, and the sausages were terrible. The breakfast was truly awful. 4. It's close to the pier, but the view is minimal, blocked by other buildings on the left. In the mornings, there's quite a bit of speedboat noise and petrol smell. 5. The scooter rental fee at the hotel is 1.5-2 times higher than outside. There's really no need to rent from the hotel. 6. As soon as you request a late check-out, they immediately ask for more money. While the principle isn't wrong, the hot water facilities in the room were particularly infuriating.

DDonCarloMila Kohlarn is definitely a “must-stay” hotel on Koh Larn Island. The bed was genuinely comfortable, the room was spotless, and the breakfast was excellent — easily one of the highlights of the stay. The location is unbeatable: it’s literally right on Taewan Beach, so you can step out and you’re on the beachfront straight away. It’s also super convenient that you can rent a motorbike directly from the hotel to explore the other beaches around the island. You can order meals to your room. A nice touch on arrival was the welcome drink — so refreshing, especially in the heat. The free pick-up and drop-off service between the pier and the hotel was also smooth and hassle-free, which made travelling with bags much easier. Highly recommended if you want comfort, convenience, and a top location on Koh Larn.

GGuest UserWhat I liked most was that you didn't have to walk anywhere to get to the beach; you just step out and you're in the sea. The room was spacious, clean, and smelled pleasant. The girls at the reception and in the dining room were all smiles, like most Thais, and tried their best to answer all questions. The downside is that breakfast is monotonous; NOTHING changes, it's the same thing day in and day out. If you stay for a long time, you'll get incredibly bored.

HHelgaTuA beautiful hotel with a stunning beach. The staff are incredibly customer-oriented. Even though there are many people on the beach, it never feels overwhelmingly crowded. The hotel has a high-quality beach area where everything is thoughtfully designed, making you truly feel like you're on vacation. Just come and relax. From the balcony, you can see the sea on both sides. The hotel is located on a small, narrow strip of land, which allows for views of the coastline from both sides of the island. I found this to be quite special. Breakfasts are hearty and delicious. Overall, we highly recommend it and will definitely be back ourselves.

DDouglas Mc DougallNice location near the pier, although you need to wind between some alleyways. The view, as shown in the website photos, is not quite what you get. Lovely breakfast, made to order. Room and bathroom are both clean and comfortable. Scooters are available for hire at the premises.

GGuest UserWe stayed in this hotel for 3 nights. The hotel is very tired, the plumbing is all dripping, the bed is very hard, but it doesn't matter because people come to the island to swim and relax on the beach. It's fine for just spending the night. There is also a small terrace near the room, where we ate in the morning and evening. It's convenient that it's not on the first line, not so noisy in the evening, but not far from the beach. We didn't take breakfast.
