Great
GGuest UserStayed over to see a show. They were sold out but we got the room through trip.com. Corner room was spacious, clean and had a great shower. Bathroom hair dryer wasn't working but they left an extra one. Got in later than we wanted due to traffic, went to the show, met with friends and ate late at night. Great selection available for late nite food. Burger was excellent (I'm picky about burgers). My only complaint - I thought the venue was too cold. Love that Hard Rock offer both smoking and non smoking rooms. I hate getting a room that has been smoked in.
GGuest User4th of July and birthday weekend trip. We booked the king contemporary room. Checking in was fast and easy and the room was ready at checkin time. The room was clean, spacious, and quiet. Fabulous inlet view with the huge floor to ceiling windows. The bathroom was spacious with double sinks, big shower, and water closet. We were on the 39th floor and catching an elevator is no problem. The resort is huge but easily navigable. We dined at Wahlburgers and Villian & Saint. Food at both places was great and reasonably priced. Even with a holiday weekend we were able to dine at the time we wanted without a long wait. Caffeccino is open 24 hours so it was great to grab early morning coffee and a pastry or a late night snack. The birthday bar was fun. They gave me a free happy birthday sash to wear. It was cool walking around the casino floor having strangers wishing me a happy birthday. I signed up right away for the rewards card. This gives you discounted parking if you drive there. The beach was clean and we were able to rent beach chairs and an umbrella. This was my first time staying at this resort and I would definitely go back again!
GGuest UserFirst time staying here. It was a beautiful property, very well maintained. The rooms were done very well, with an extremely comfortable bed and a very nicely appointed bathroom. We were there for a wedding. They do weddings extremely well. The facilities, timing, atmosphere and catering were top shelf. Of particular note, the food was outstanding. Everyone on staff, from our check in to our check out, was professional, approachable and pleasant. Look forward to staying there again.
Ff1trillionWe stayed at the recently remodeled MGM Tower because it was supposed to be superb but the furniture already shows wear and tear, the parking lot is difficult to access and cleanliness was just average with crumbs and some hair on the floor.
WwindsoryEven though it's an older hotel, the rooms were spotlessly clean and well-maintained. They came fully equipped with essentials like a hairdryer, coffee maker, and a safe. The room was spacious and offered a pleasant view. The hotel breakfast was a fantastic surprise – excellent quality and great value for money, truly exceeding my expectations. My only minor complaint is that the Chinese restaurant's operating hours were a bit limited.
MmatalesThe room was clean. Not obviously luxurious. Just nice regular room. Hotel is not family friendly as they have only inside pool available. And kids not allowed in the jacuzzi. And no jacuzzi in the outside pools that were very basic. View from room was good. As external windows were cleaned. I don't understand why they nickel and dime you by charging for the parking. As the golden nuggets next door have free parking. A good option in AC but nothing special. We spend all our time away from hotel as it was easier to be at the beach all day and play at the Caesars casino instead. Probably makes no difference to them as the casinos might be related. If they have a more kids friendly pool we definitely have spend all day in the hotel and enjoy the casino as it was a good one.
CCarlos ManuelWell located, close to a bunch of nice restaurants. The room and the amenities were nice. The only bad thing was that we arrived one hour before the check-in time (4 pm) and they wanted to charge us ~$50 for an early check-in, so we had to hang out for an hour.
JJennyyoThe location is good, but the hygiene was so-so. It's older than I thought. Still, it was good for a short stay. The room was bigger than I thought.
GGuest UserThere was no remote to the Tv I called room service
I asked for a remote remote control I received the remote control about a half hour later
And the remote control didn’t work I immediately called the from desk for a bout an hour and there was no answer
CCRodOk so first let me just say for the price we paid on the days we went. It wasn't horrible. I would go back BUT YMMV so this was my experience.
Location was great. Right on the boardwalk and an easy walk to Hard Rock when we went to the concert.
Service was meh. The only time I had a friendly anyone in the establishment was the woman who checked us out. Everyone else that we interacted with were either disinterested or perfunctory. No help on where to find our rooms, no help on any services offered. We didn't even get the annoying (did you want to sign up for our card?) that you get in ****** hotels. I guess that was a plus.
From my understanding we were on the ”older side” of the establishment. But regardless, staying on an entire floor that says non smoking it smelled of smoke. both cigarettes and ****. I don't care if you do either but I do care to smell either in my room or right outside my door (defeats the whole purpose of non smoking). Everything is dated which is whatever. but the blinds didn't work the coffee maker wire was too short for the ”dresser” so you had to keep moving it to the nightstand to use it. The room itself was relatively clean although the back of the nightstands hadn't been touched in a long time with all that accumulation of dust. Its design is just...weird. like so much random open area. I guess you can dance there lol. The ”dresser” didn't have drawers it had...like cubby holes. We didn't use them seemed pointless. I didn't even bother with the tv it was too far away and faced away from any sitting area (again weird layout).
The ****** itself was ok. Nothing crazy although I did like that rotating bar they had. But again. EVERYWHERE just reeked of smoke. To use a comparison, at Hard Rock when you were on the ****** side sure people smoked there (i get it) but the hotel side of things smelled clean refreshing and airy.
In the end, manage expectations and you'll be fine. If you are a smoker I am sure you will be fine too. If all you plan to do is sleep there its fine (although we were on the 7th floor and could still hear the music bumping below but the music was good so w/e lol) It works, again its not horrible. Its definitely 2.5-3 star range.
