Bright Riverside Holiday Park

Fantastic stay with friends for a special birthday. We booked 2 of the new luxury villas & a glamping pod. The accommodation did not disappoint. The decks on the villas was fantastic, plenty of room for a group of 10. Beautiful views of the river, the decks are set high enough up that the campers in front do not bother. Park is kept in overall immaculate condition. If you are visiting in the warmer months pack a portable fan for the bunk bed room as there isn't one and its very stuffy! Great location walk everywhere, no need to move the car! We would most definitely return!

We love staying here. The team are friendly and helpful. The park is clean and well maintained. The amenities have just gotten better and better over the years. No matter what time of year, it's welcoming and enjoyable to stay here. A short 5 minute walk to town, big and updated camp kitchen with everything you need and plenty of river access for a splash. We've not had problems with getting a fire pit but in peak times it might be a little tricky. There's no kids playground but you don't need one when there is a big local park a 5min walk away. We stayed in a superior cabin this time, however we have stayed in the river front cabins (which were a little outdated last time we stayed, but they may have changed or may be on the cards to be updated) as well as powered sites. Never disappointed. Be respectful of the caravan park, the town and the QUIET, slower paced living that the alpine region has to offer.

Great location right on the river and only a couple of hundred meters walk through a park into town. I camped here last week, and luckily got one of the individual unpowered camp sites, which are sites 7, 8 and 9. All the other camp sites are squashed in together on a small bit of grass, which is never really pleasant when you are in a tent. Super modern and clean toilets and camp kitchen and lovely lounge area. Camp fires were allowed along the river front sites and there were plenty of seats and picnic areas spread throughout the park. I decided to stay a second night and went to the office at about 830am to book and pay for the second night. Very disappointingly, about an hour later I received a generic text offering 50% of a second night, but hadn’t been offered that when I went to the office an hour earlier. Hint, if wanting a second night in non peak times, maybe wait until about 930am to book the second night. The staff were friendly and helpful and overall, it was a lovely spot to stay.

I took my three children and two of their friends to Bright so they could go mountain biking at Mystic Park. I randomly chose the Bright Riverside Holiday Park, booking a 6 berth Riverview cabin, and what a perfect choice. The cabin itself was clean, spacious and had everything we needed for our 3 night stay. Beds were clean and comfortable and the shower was nice and hot with great water pressure (something that can often be lacking). Location was fabulous. The bikers were able to easily ride to their destination and the rest of us strolled in and out of town with ease, even taking a dip in the river on the warmest day of our stay. We spent our evenings outside by the fire pit which just added to an already fantastic experience. Although we had our own amenities, I did venture into the communal toilet block on one occasion and it was spotless. Checking in and out was effortless and we’re already considering dates for a return.

We have always loved staying at Bright Riverside every winter for our snow trip. The location is very convenient, there’s plenty of shops and activities around, and the scenery outside the cabin is just picturesque! This year we came with my family from overseas and they’ve been saying this is the best trip we’ve had so far! The staff are friendly and very accommodating especially since we’ve asked for late checkins. The amenities inside the cabin are complete with kitchenware, hot water, heaters and the warmest blankets! It had always been a great experience with Bright Riverside Holiday park and we’ll continue to stay with them every year.

amazing location, great family atmosphere. stuff were friendly and very helpful. it is walking distance to all the main shops and parks. the cabins are very clean and fully equipped with everything you will need. kids love exploring the riverside and walking to the park. very family friendly we love our stays at bright riverside and can't wait to return.
