"Beautiful views. Quality bed and linen. Very clean amenities. Lovely body wash. A huge bath to soak in after a day of hiking. A fire pit to sit by and watch the sunset and the Bogong moths! We received a bountiful breakfast hamper for the two mornings we were there. They’ve really thought of everything. It was a special treat for us and I’m glad we indulged. Highly recommend it. Close to town and easy to find."

Chestnut Tree Holiday Units

"I recently stayed in the Chestnut Tree Holiday apartments in Bright with my granddaughter and friends. The accommodation was first class, very clean with all amenities that we needed. The view from the apartment was spectacular and the location perfect. We loved the beautiful gardens, sadly it was a bit cold for the pool but it was very inviting. The hosts Pete and Tracy were very accommodating and great to deal with. Parking under the apartment was very convenient. We all loved our stay and highly recommend this place."

With spectacular views and nestled in an elevated bush land setting you can’t help but feel connected to this beautiful environment. The cabins are well equipped and spotless. All have to do is sit back and soak up the scenery. We will definitely be back again."

Bright Mystic Valley

"We booked Unit 1 for 5 nights but stayed for 11 because we both tested positive for COVID whilst we were there. Ros and Brendan were able to rearrange another booking and allowed us to stay for the additional days and even gave us a discount for the extra days. We were so grateful for their generosity, their advice about local medical care, and how they even offered to do shopping for us. Their support while we were isolating and so far from home was outstanding. We were also so thankful that we could stay in such lovely accommodation whilst isolating rather than being stuck in a hotel room. From our unit we could go outside and walk around part of the large, peaceful gardens without having to worry about infecting anybody. The facilities were superb, very clean and warm in mid winter. We ate in all the time and the kitchen had all the necessary items to do this and the full sized fridge came in handy for all the food we needed to store. We enjoyed watching the resident kookaburras, the king parrots, the fairy wrens and other birds that lived in the garden. We also were grateful that the place had access to Netflix! Bright Riverside Holiday Park

"We love staying here. The team are friendly and helpful. The park is clean and well maintained. The amenities have just gotten better and better over the years. No matter what time of year, it's welcoming and enjoyable to stay here. A short 5 minute walk to town, big and updated camp kitchen with everything you need and plenty of river access for a splash. We've not had problems with getting a fire pit but in peak times it might be a little tricky. There's no kids playground but you don't need one when there is a big local park a 5min walk away. We stayed in a superior cabin this time, however we have stayed in the river front cabins (which were a little outdated last time we stayed, but they may have changed or may be on the cards to be updated) as well as powered sites. Never disappointed. Be respectful of the caravan park, the town and the QUIET, slower paced living that the alpine region has to offer. "

Westwood Lodge

"We have just had a wonderful 3 night stay in Westwood apartment 3. The location is fantastic; we walked or rode everywhere. We loved the huge, comfy bed with gorgeous linen. The apartment had everything we needed. Great communication with the owner. It is a little bit expensive, but fairly well priced given the popularity of this tourist town at this time of year. The bike trails in Bright are fun; especially the one to Porepunkah & Ringer Reef winery. 5 Acres in Wandi is another great ride & such a beautiful place to spend a lazy afternoon. Plenty of places to eat in town; our favorite was Tomahawk, the ribs are delicious. We’ll be back again!"

Nrma Bright Holiday Park

"Care factor zero, nice park however they double booked our site and seemed to care less, we had booked 3 months in advance, we were then stuck on a tiny site at the back of the park next to the smelly bins with no where to park our car , we had previously provided and they had confirmed the measurements of the van, there were many sites that seemed adequate but the staff were unhelpful"

"Please never go to this motel the stole 155 dollars of my money called them to book accommodation told to go online once payment was made we arrived pub and motel has been closed down indefinitely next day we finally got a hold of someone they were not willing to return they money absolute disgusting"
