Discovery Parks - Bright
"Very nice staff for guide me for check in even though she is already off duty. And also provide immediate assistance when I requested. I like the full kitchen that I actually enjoy cooking my own food."
Hara House
"It was good, nice amenities but restricted service. Reception open just a few hours."
Discovery Parks - Mount Buffalo
"Very clean, complete facilities, small space, but reasonable layout, still a good choice"
Bright Velo
"Slightly disappointed with my stay, motel is in a good location, mostly well appointed, and cosy. However. They don’t have reception, its geeky stuff, and they failed to send me the pin code to get in. The lovely cleaner let me in. Toilet didn’t work No mirror in bathroom to shave or do makeup. No tissues Wifi basically doesn’t work, weak and drops out ALL the time. Gave up on it. But, it is a lovely room, small but ok. Everything is close. Might or might not stay again?"
Bright on Track
"Bright on Track was perfect for my trip. The room was very spacious and clean and it was very quiet ."
Big4 Tasman Holiday Parks - Bright
"Our Stay at the holiday park was really amazing, the location, accommodation and facilities were all so neat, the cabin we had looked pretty new and it did have everything we needed, we were 2 families in it and it did fit very well. On top of the outstanding surrounding sceneries the owner Alex was really nice and very friendly. We loved our stay there and we would 100% highly recommend it to other families."
Bright Riverside Holiday Park
"We love staying here. The team are friendly and helpful. The park is clean and well maintained. The amenities have just gotten better and better over the years. No matter what time of year, it's welcoming and enjoyable to stay here. A short 5 minute walk to town, big and updated camp kitchen with everything you need and plenty of river access for a splash. We've not had problems with getting a fire pit but in peak times it might be a little tricky. There's no kids playground but you don't need one when there is a big local park a 5min walk away. We stayed in a superior cabin this time, however we have stayed in the river front cabins (which were a little outdated last time we stayed, but they may have changed or may be on the cards to be updated) as well as powered sites. Never disappointed. Be respectful of the caravan park, the town and the QUIET, slower paced living that the alpine region has to offer. "
Barrass's John Bright Motor Inn
"Clean and tidy, the cleanest bathroom and bathtub in the motel I have ever stayed in, thumbs up. Those water cups need to be put in a dishwasher so that the overall grade is higher. If you go skiing, this hotel is very cost-effective before going up the mountain. It is very convenient to eat around. The western food in Alpine hotel tastes good. The store next to the ski equipment rental is also 1/3 of the price on the mountain. If the boss can post the Wifi password in each room, it will be a more value-added service. Overall, this stay ended perfectly"
Alpine Riverside Cottages
"This property has pretty views of the river, great for frolicking in on a hot day or just cooling ones feet after a days hiking. The hosts are very friendly and are so very helpful and go above and beyond what one would expect. The rooms are fully equipped with full kitchen, ensuite and comfortable beds. There is also an undercover BBQ area and lots of grass to picnic on by the river if you prefer. Take a leisurely drive to Mt. Buffalo, Harrietville or Bright. Stroll around the shops or take walks by the river. There are plenty of places to hike if you want something more strenuous but there is your cottage waiting at the end of the day to relax in and absorb the serenity of the evening. If you don't feel like cooking, drive a short distance to the Porepunkah pub which serves a variety of yummy meals. We arrived at Alpine Park River Cottages as strangers and left as friends."

Tawonga Tourist Park
"Bring back family friendly booking system in person. Get rid of online 3rd party systems......................................................................."
Motel Sierra - Bright
"The room appeared bigger online, there’s not even a proper sink to wash cups, cutlery ect. The water temperature changes while you’re showering and you don’t even get proper toilet paper. The iron was broken and spat boiling hot water everywhere nearly burning me. I woke up one morning and the power was out until 1pm that afternoon, no one made me aware this was happening. And to top it all off there were gnats everywhere. Very disappointing definitely would not stay again."
Goldfield Holiday Units
"We stayed in the recently modernised and contemporary Unit 6. Stylish and comfortable, the unit was very well appointed and featured a fully equipped kitchen, spacious bathroom and excellent shower, possibly the nicest we have had in our accommodation. Goldfield Units are perfectly positioned for easy walking access to the centre of Bright. They abut the beautiful Ovens River, allowing easy access to the Canyon Walk. Marco and Sam were gracious and welcoming hosts, very friendly and always on hand to provide recommendations. We would have no hesitation in recommending Goldfield Units and hope to visit again in the future."
Kiewa Country Cottages
"Hotel location is good, just near Bright in Mount Beauty, , convenient for travel, there is a washing dryer and kitchen, plus an outdoor BBQ stove. Because it is a country hotel, the room inevitably has a little smell and mosquitoes."
Bright Mystic Valley
"Quiet retreat, amongst trees, vines, gardens, plenty of places to sit with a wine a book and tranquility. I found the bed to be a bit firm, im used to softer mattresses, maybe a matress topper could be option before check in. But overall the place was exactly what we needed, we relaxed, and yeyyyy no kids, aahhhh the serenity."
Westwood Lodge
"For many years now we have always enjoyed staying at Westwood Lodge. The high quality, quietness and the excellent location of the apartments are perfect to enjoy your holiday in beautiful Bright. The apartments surround a beautiful garden and creek."
The Odd Frog
"We had a wonderful stay at The Odd Frog! We stayed in Treehouse number 2. The cabin was beautiful and had everything you need, the little bedroom nook felt so cosy and had a beautiful view out the window. We loved having the fire, it kept the whole place toasty! The highlight was definitely the kangaroos up on the hill outside the cabin, it was amazing to see them up so close and be so relaxed and natural. The location is so peaceful, quiet and tucked away, while still be only a short walk to town. James & Kylie were super helpful and prompt with all communication. We definitely recommend staying at The Odd Frog!"
Merrimeet Cottages
"Stayed in the upstairs Mews apartment. We loved sitting on the outside deck overlooking the beautiful gardens for breakfast and in the cool of the evening. Though warm in summer, the air conditioner kept the place cool. Spacious unit and comfortable."
Club Wyndham Dinner Plain, Trademark Collection by Wyndham
"We had a great time at Club Wyndham DP. The 3 Bed chalet was well equipped and clean. All of the staff were very helpful and friendly. One of best RCI places we stayed. "
Porepunkah Pines Holiday Park
"Arrived at the Park and was greeted by Narelle one of the Managers. Was very professional , helpful and had a great sense of humour. Felt very welcomed, Narelle would stop and say hello also made sure all was ok with accommodation etc. Gave us great info about the area to what we could go and do or eat. Loved the lawns that were kept nice down near the creek, camp kitchen was great too. Walking track into porepunkah to the eateries etc. Have booked again! Would definitely recommend this caravan park!!! Greg and Angelina Huddle Deniliquin NSW"
Chestnut Tree Holiday Units
"We stayed for two nights during the Autumn Festival. The property is located approximately 1km from the town centre. On arrival you are greeted by beautifully maintained gardens including pool, heated spa, tennis court, undercover BBQ area and children’s playground. Our two bedroom apartment was surprisingly spacious, spotlessly clean and had really comfy beds. Everything you could wish for was provided including fully equipped kitchen, full-sized refrigerator, oven/cooktop, microwave, dishwasher, coffee machine, two televisions, comfortable seating, iron/ironing board, well equipped wardrobes, extra blankets, spa bath and lovely toiletries. We enjoyed a mulled wine beside the wood-fired BBQ at night and morning coffees in the sun on the balcony overlooking the spectacular Autumn colours. Tracy was lovely to deal with even offering early access to our apartment when she found out we were arriving earlier in the day. If you are wanting comfortable, clean accommodation to enjoy all Bright has to offer this is it! Highly recommend."
The Harrietville Snowline Hotel
"Restaurant: Very disapointing. The menu choice was only parmas or burgers, nothing else. We chose the Chicken Parma. It was not cheap at $28 but only came with chips, and no salad. Salad costs an extra $5. The menu stated that there was an 8% surcharge on weekends. We asked for water and was directed to a self-service tap. I had to fill my own bottle. What are you paying for if there is no service? We waited and waited for the meal. Too long. When the meal was ready, the chef rang the bell, but the waiter was in another room and didn't hear it. Credit to the Chef, who brought the meal to the table himself while it was warm My wife picked up her cutlery only to find that the knife had not been washed and had food on it from the previous customer. The Parma was not appetizing, the toppings slightly burnt and the chips were by far, overcooked. We couldn't finish it. I do actually like the hotel and believe that it should be delivering fair service like it used to. Common guys... fix it."
Harrietville Hotel Motel
"Excellent overall. Beautiful area to stay in"
Restaway Holiday Units
"Stayed here with family for a couple of nights. Place was very clean, and comfortable. There are 8 units, with 4 down the side and 4 at the back. You can access the Ovens river a further 400 MTRS down at the rear of the property. Beds were comfortable. The only issue was the key code access. You need to remember a 5 digit code to enter the room. So while the pros are you cannot lose your key, all guests need to remember the code and then how to enter it. If you are short sighted there are problems. If the sun is shining directly on the digital keypad there are problems. The system does allow for a key and a swipe card. I would be dumping the code and going back to the good old key. Otherwise an excellent stay. Only 5 KMs from Bright."
