The room was terrible.. The bed had hair still on the sheets The towels were dirty The room stunk of carpet stuff so strong that we opened the windows and the door trying to air it out . Food scraps under the bed. The TV remote batteries were flat. Not impressed at all

So close to the beach! Air conditioning works amazing and a very good price for one nights stay.

The room was really good, clean and priced well. It does, however, get a bit stuffy even with the aircon on. The fan needs to be on low 24/7. I had to leave the door open with the air-conditioning and fan on low at one stage. I do suffer from claustrophobia, though. The only downfall about my stay, was the parking. The carpark was always full with across the road cafe patrons. The last night I stayed I had to park around the back street and walk to the Hotel. That's a big issue for me when I have bags or cases. I had a little issue the 2nd day, but the Hotel reception dealt with it in a speedy manner and was friendly about it. Overall a enjoyable stay.

Fantastic - the location is by the Brighton Beach, affordable, clean with courteous staff. The dining/cafe/bar amenities have great choices with friendly and obliging staff. We have stayed here few times and will be regulars. Very welcoming indeed. Bravo!

Location is good but rooms are very dated as is the bathroom and also dirty. Furniture in room and bathroom fixtures looked as though they had been plucked off a rubbish pile from a derelict house.. Every time you go up and down stairs to your room you have to try and dodge the massive amounts of pigeon crap that covers the stairs from the pigeons that roost there. The rooms seemed like they would be perfect for drug users or *******.

Booking on Trip.com was smooth, although I paid up front and the hotel didn't realise this and emailed to ask me to make payment. Check-in staff were lovely, very helpful and courteous. The map with instructions to get to my room was a little hard to follow because the security door's keypad numbers were invisible in the afternoon sun until I pressed on the keypad. The single room was fine, basic but clean. I found the mattress very soft (prefer firm mattress), so my back was a bit sore. I had a great Bibimbap for dinner in the downstairs bistro and appreciated the 10% discount. There was some mechanical noise from a machine outside overnight so I didn't open the window for fresh air, though I normally would have. Great location by the sea and on Jetty Rd!

Always enjoy staying here on the waterfront. Awesome cafe ***** & shopping. The rooms are old but this is reflected in the price- cheap & cheerful. Bed comfortable. Guests staying also get 10% off food if you present your room key. You can scan a QR code in your room & get room service if you don’t want to dine in-house. Meals are great & service friendly.

It was nice, it would be nicer in the summer time

It's great, the beach is just outside the door, and there is a train to the city for 4.3 Australian dollars
