Penzion Bird's Nest

I give ten points. This is the best B&B I have stayed in in many years of travel. It has well-decorated public areas, clean and tidy rooms, and hotel-standard bedding. There is an independent parking yard with 24-hour surveillance, which is very safe. The boss personally prepares a rich breakfast, which is full of sincerity. If this hotel was located in the capital and in the city center, it would be more famous.

We stayed here for 2 nights. It is a very nice guesthouse. The location is very good, in the middle of a residential area. It is a 3-minute walk to the tram and 30 minutes to the city center. The breakfast was very good. On the first morning, in addition to the buffet, everyone got a pancake and on the second day a sweet pastry. The owner is very friendly and speaks a little German. 2 negative points for us were that it was very thinly soundproof (room upstairs and hallway) and that you couldn't darken the room properly. The room is large and modern. We had a small balcony. There are free parking spaces behind the house, secured with a gate.

Wenn man hier absteigt, hat man das Gefühl, dass man zu Freunden kommt. Alles wirkt familiär und so wird man auch aufgenommen. Der Vermieter versorgt einen mit allerlei Tipps und serviert eigenhändig das erstklassige Frühstück in der guten Stube. Das Zimmer, was wir hatten, war groß und wir haben uns einfach rundherum wohl gefühlt. Die Pension befindet sich zwar ca. 2 km von der Innenstadt entfernt, was aber kein Problem ist, da nur wenige Meter entfernt eine Straßenbahnhaltestelle ist. Auf jeden Fall sollte man einen Besuch der Villa Tugendtath mit einplanen, die sich ca. 800 m entfernt befindet.
