"We booked a Deluxe Room, which was actually the lowest category of rooms in this hotel. As a result, we got a room facing the inner courtyard, which was not nice at all. I checked and found that on each floor, only two rooms do not face the beautiful square — which was the main reason I chose this hotel in the first place. That said, the location of the hotel, the cleanliness, and the room’s equipment were good. However, the TV was old and couldn’t read my USB drive. :-( Finally, room service showed up around 3 PM, which was no longer convenient for us. I only asked for two clean towels, but the maid didn’t understand English. All in all, I’ll think twice before booking a room here again when I’m next in Brno."

"Hotel Avion is best suited to travelers who value character, history, and a central location over polished five-star consistency. If you're an architecture enthusiast or simply want to stay somewhere with a real story, it's a memorable choice — just go in with realistic expectations about a few rough edges. Worth noting: at the time of writing, there are collector/utility works being carried out on the street right in front of the hotel, and workers were already active as early as 7:30 AM — something light sleepers in street-facing rooms should factor in, on top of the general city noise."

"Overall the hostel is clean and not too dirty. The toilets although simple and slightly dated, were clean too. Staff was friendly, location was good too as it is inside the old town. However, the hostel sits directly above a nightclub which is super noisy at night. The base was loud and I could've felt the vibrations. Do reconsider if you are a person who cannot sleep with loud noises. Besides that, you get what you paid for and it is sufficient for a few nights' stay."

"We were positively surprised as we read negative reviews but it was the best wellness ever. The hotel room was spacious and silent. Nicely decorated. The food was delicious three course menu with free drinks included. The breakfast was good. And the best of the best the saunas. We booked unlimited wellness package from 12 to 2 pm next day. Every 30 minutes awesome sauna ceremonies with great light shows and great sauna masters. The hobbit cave saunas and the lake is helping to fully relax. Highly recommend."

"The hotel is nice and the breakfast is above average. Parking situation is good and the Spa quite ok. Unfortunately I had a heavy diarrhea. Although every room has a complementary bottle of water, the hotel was unable or unwilling to supply me a second bottle ( of cause we offer to pay for it ) after 10 pm. I still don't understand what's the problem to supply a simple bottle for a ill guest."

"The hotel is a little out of town, but there are plenty of transport options to get to the centre. The building itself is dated, although it's evidently undergone a major interior renovation. The rooms are small, but very clean and well-equipped - with good views of the surrounding countryside. The bathroom has one of those shower curtains with a telescopic pole over the bath. Unfortunately it fell down during my shower. Breakfast is excellent with a wide range of options."

The shower was ok and as we are in a brewery here, the fridge contains a complimentary bottle of “home” made beer. Nice ! The check-in and check-out is efficient and smooth, the breakfast has no negative point, just perfect to start an interesting journey in Brno. Certainly recommended !"

"This was one of the best hotels visits ever. The environment, the service, the natural smile from the staff – everything added up to a very pleasant stay. The breakfast was incredible and it is very hard to think of anything that will improve it. Everything was nice and clean and everything worked. It was like the staff enjoyed their work and enjoyed giving you a good time in a relaxed manner. I can strongly recommend this hotel and if my wife and I ever are going to Brno again, we will prioritize to stay there again."
