Very cosy motel...older style building..makes you feel you are living in the good old days..motel manager is very charming and caring and runs a terrific motel ..I strongly recommend staying there...right on the hawkesbury river

The bed linen had not been changed after the previous guests had checked out. There was a distinct smell of body odour on the sheets and pillow cases upon inspection, which clearly indicates this. The spare linen also smelled of body odour. I slept between the top sheet and blanket, to which I was bitten by mites from head to toe. It is totally unacceptable to expect a paying guest to sleep in a bed in that condition. BASED ON MY EXPERIENCE I COULD NOT POSSIBLY RECOMMEND OR RETURN TO THIS MOTEL...... # REVIEW RE - POSTED IN ORDER TO REPLY TO OWNERS COMMENTS. 1. The owner claimed that spare linen is not stored within the room, with is untrue. I stayed in the front room, left hand side facing the street. There was a cupboard next to the fridge which contained SHEETS, PILLOW CASES AN A BLANKET.!!!! Thank you very much... 2. The owner also claimed that my review is not legitimate. My review is %100 legitimate and based on my experience staying at the motel..... Had the the bed linen been changed after the previous guests had checked out, TO WHICH IT WAS NOT. Had I also not endured a night of being bitten my mites, THIS REVIEW WOULD NOT HAVE BEEN POSTED.....

It was clearly evident that the bed sheets and pillow cases had a distinct smell of body odour upon inspection. This indicates that the bed linen had not been changed after the previous guests had checked out. Spare sheets in the cupboard also smelled of body odour. I slept between the top sheet and blanket, to which I could feel myself being bitten by mites from head to toe. It is totally unacceptable to expect a paying guest to sleep in a bed in that condition. BASED ON MY EXPERIENCE I COULD NEVER RECOMMEND OR STAY AT THIS MOTEL AGAIN......

It is a very lovely motel...big room..tom the manager was absolutely professional and friendly..there isn't any off street parking but it's a very compact neighbourhood...everything is within 3 minutes walk..it is like walking onto the 70's..in a good way...I used to come to brooklyn 50 years ago and told myself I'll stay at brooklyn motel one day..and I did today..it was worth the wait..I can't think of any negative aspect...and the prices are extremely competitive in 2023...overall I give brooklyn motel 100 out of 100...and specially Tom the motel manager...we will be back when we want to stay on the central coast....p s. Bring your fishing gear..it's 3 minutes to the hawkebury river and surrounds

The hotel is nicely located near Hawskbury river and across the Rd from a good pub. It is extremely noisy though! Walls are paper thin I can literally hear everything going on next door, the people talking and laughing it is so annoying. Also, the microwave and kettle do not work, I tried plugging into other plugs and still no luck. Probably wouldn't come back.

Well-looked after property, clean and nicely presented. Nothing in the room was tired and obviously cared for actively. I thought really good. Fresh coffee and plunger valued and balcony pleasant to enjoy. Beds comfortable and bathroom was immaculate.

We stayed overnight to do the Riverboat Postman Sunday cruise. The hotel is as represented being quaint and authentic. Although the building is not your traditional motel layout, our room (Number 1) was spacious and well equipped. The bed was comfortable and there was adequate heating and a hot shower. The owner has obviously gone to a lot of trouble to put in homely little touches in keeping with the style of the room. The place is also spotlessly clean and close to the pub for meals. Obviously this means a bit of noise on a Saturday night which is to be expected and you can hear the trains so this place is not for you if you cannot cope with an interrupted sleep. It's a short walk from the station and we arrived by train as we knew parking was an issue all over Brooklyn.
