The Guesthouse has been lovingly restored by the family and is a beautifully decorated old house in a great location, close to everything. On arrival we were blown away by the opulance. Our room was amazing, so quiet, with high ceilings and windows and the beds really comfy. The staff were charming. The breakfast was lovely and we ate far too much! We ate in the restaurant Saturday night and had an amazing 4 course meal, even the wine was selected for us for each course. It was my partners birthday and the staff sang to him, much to his embarrassment, and made it special. I would thoroughly recommend this restaurant experience. We will certainly return to Brugge and stay here again. If you want to feel very grand and spoilt, this is the place to stay.

We have traveled around Europe quite a bit, and without competition, our stay at Home Fleuri was one of the best experiences. As an art and architecture enthusiast, Brugges is heaven, and staying in this gorgeous 19th-century home was a dream. We were warmly received by Frederic's mother, who is such a charming and engaging person. We loved our conversations with her. Not only did she tell us about the home, she also gave us tips on how to best enjoy the city. The continent breakfast laid out for us every day was scrumptious; freshly squeezed juice, cold cuts, a variety of breads and baked goods, cheese, and eggs to your taste, believe me when I say we were spoilt for choice. The proprietor and the staff are some of the friendliest people I have met in Brugges. I will be visiting Brugges again for sure and I cannot think of staying anywhere else but here.

Where do you start everything was amazing ,when we arrived we were warmly greeted by Frederic and shown through this superbly appointed 19th century home, our room was large and comfortable. During our visit we spoke to to Frederic's mother and learnt a lot about the history of the home a wonderful lady , The breakfasts were beyond belief candlelit with so much food ,freshly squeezed juice ,home made yogurt ,cold cuts , breads croissants , and eggs to your liking we were so spoilt .On leaving our taxi hadn't arrived and Frederic even drove us to the station. I booked all 3 rooms at this guest house, as we were 3 couples spending a weekend in Bruges. From the moment we arrived at home Fleuri it felt as though we were staying in a very special place. Nicole told us the history of this beautiful building which she has lovingly restored with her family - it is breathtakingly beautiful - a period elegant house. It was such a cold weekend, but the house and our huge rooms were warm and comfortable day & night. Sitting in the exquisite dining room enjoying the most scrumptious, fresh breakfast was a delightful way to start the day … it was a continental affair with so much choice of breads, croissants, homemade yogurt, cheese, ham, freshly squeezed juice, hot drinks and so much of it! Then they took our order for eggs & bacon. Frederic (Nicole’s son), his wife & other staff are so friendly & welcoming. Our party thoroughly enjoyed home fleuri - our only regret is not dining there one evening. We certainly will next time.

We enjoyed our stay so much. The room was super romantic and cozy. Everything was clean and the furniture was very beautiful. The whole guesthouse has an amazing original style, with love for the detail. We felt very welcome from the first second when we arrived. Moreover, the breakfast was amazing, with homemade dishes and a lot of love. We will definitely come back!

We were warmly greeted and made so very welcome. Such a beautiful Guesthouse full of character and charm. It makes a nice change from standardised hotels that look the same. Stunning decor and touches provide you with a feast for the eyes . It was warm, cosy , perfect. The restaurant food is first class!!! Outstanding with wonderful service and attention to detail. The fantastic breakfasts are so generous and beautifully served with so much to eat and top quality. We would like to return. Definitely !!!

We embarked on our first trip since the beginning of the pandemic. My wife decided we should go to Europe, originally to southern Italy but, taking cues from a friend, decided to go elsewhere and set to work on an itinerary. We began In Amsterdam, a city we both love, and have spent (me) extended time there. We then embarked on the train to Bruge (In Bruge - great movie) Belgium where she made reservations at a small bed and breakfast which houses a gourmet 5 star, restaurant, Park, as well. Home Fleuri Guesthouse is housed in a 19th century townhouse dating back to 1849. The proprietor, Frederick Bruggerman, an outgoing, gregarious gentleman, is the chef. And knows his trade well. He is a terrific chef and and warm and welcoming host along with his sweet wife Sarah. I cannot imagine ever returning to this city and staying anywhere else nor should you.

We had a short, but very nice stay here. The house and the rooms are beautiful, the location next to the queen Astrid park is perfect, just 5-10 min to the market, best spot for a relaxed start in a busy day of exploring bruges. Full recommendation.
