Sheraton Bucharest Hotel

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Elite World Grand Hotel, conveniently located on Basin Ekspres in Istanbul, and the experience was nothing short of outstanding. From the moment of arrival, the warm and professional demeanor of the staff was notable, catering to every need and making guests feel genuinely welcomed. The rooms are a true highlight, exhibiting a harmonious blend of luxury and comfort, with plush bedding, state-of-the-art amenities, and breathtaking views of the vibrant city of Istanbul. The attention to detail was evident, reflecting a high standard of cleanliness and a keen eye for aesthetic elegance. The culinary offerings at the hotel are exceptional. Each dish I tried was a dance of flavors, paying homage to the rich culinary heritage of Turkey while also offering a variety of international cuisines to suit every palate. This is a solid hotel, but nothing overly outstanding. The views from the higher floors (we were on the 15th floor facing north) are very nice. In general things were quiet in the room at night. The breakfast buffet was a good selection - egg station; some warm dishes; dips and veggies; many different kinds of fruit; pastries; desserts. Breakfast hours are 0630h - 1100h. The staff that I interacted with during the week I was there were polite and courteous. Unfortunately we had three separate reservations due to date changes with the business trip, and it was not seamless for them to put them all together, and things got a bit confusing constantly having to go to the front desk to get our key cards re-activated for each of the three reservations (I had to get my key card fixed 4 different times). The pool is fairly small, not very functional for lap swimming despite having the current feature. When we arrived on a Wednesday many of the jets in the pool were not working, but thankfully by the following Tuesday they had been fixed. The sauna (wet and dry) are fine, but a little small (thankfully they weren't busy when I used them though). There is a lack of towels and robes in the pool area though (despite them stating on the TV that these are amenities available at the pool). The first day I used the pool in the evening, there was nothing, I called the front desk and informed them I was at the pool and there were no clean towels, they said they'd send someone up with some. I waited approx 15 minutes, then decided to go for a swim because surely there would be clean ones by the time I got out - nope, approx 30 minutes after I'd called there were still no clean towels and I walked back to my room wet. The second time I went by in the afternoon there were maybe about 5 towels (no robes). You would think for a hotel that size they would stock the pool with more towels (or at least re-stock frequently). Overall my stay was fine, but not necessarily the kind of quality I would expect from a 5 star hotel.

This is a 5 stars hotel run with excellent personal, professionalism , kindness at the highest level. The rooms are clean , the breakfast is great , if you get the Club level is even better ! Many thanks to Daniel Ben Yehuda for his amazing ospitality !
