Visited for a 3-day Budapest break with family (2 x adults with 2 x teens) and this hotel was just perfect for us. Here are the highlights: - Immaculately clean with stunning decor. - Spacious, well-equipped room (we had the Premium twins on floors 1 and 2). - The staff were incredibly welcoming, friendly and helpful. - The thermal suite spa was pristine and we had it to ourselves, along with the gym. - The food at AGOS restaurant was phenomenal - hats off to the amazing chefs. - Good selection of both buffet-style and a la carte options for breakfast (included for free if you are an IHG Diamond Elite member). - Good position with a view of the Danube and within walking distance of Margaret Island. Overall it really felt like a 5-star experience without any of the pretentious stuffiness. Literally the only thing I would change is to have a separate bathroom for a little privacy with its own closeable door, instead of it all being part of the room.

Beautiful and clean hotel. We immediately felt welcome and at home. Champagne upon arrival. We received a free upgrade to a more luxurious room with a bathtub and a view of the Danube. The room was more spacious than we had expected, extremely clean, and beautifully designed. Breakfast is plentiful and of high quality. Throughout our stay, we felt very welcome, at Kimpton, you're definitely not just a number. The staff pays attention to the guests and thinks along with you. By chance, we heard from fellow passengers on the train that there would be a wine gala at the hotel. When we inquired about it, the organizers and hotel staff arranged at the last minute for us to be able to attend after all!
