IntercityHotel Budapest
9.1 (765 reviews)

IntercityHotel Budapest ★★★★

📍 Baross tér 7-8, District VIII-Jozsefvaros, Budapest

"The hotel's location is extremely convenient, right next to Keleti train station. You just need to cross the street to get there, which is super handy for travelers arriving by train. The hotel facilities are new, and the staff are very friendly. I initially had trouble connecting to the hotel's Wi-Fi, but the front desk helped me resolve it. There's a Spar supermarket downstairs, and an Aldi supermarket about a five-minute walk away, with the Aldi being larger."

City Hotel Mátyás

City Hotel Mátyás ★★★

Sous44 ★★★

📍 Rákóczi út 44, District VII-Erzsebetvaros, Budapest

"Very good but tv does not shows anything good Internet. Perfect location near all"

Danubius Hotel Arena
8.9 (125 reviews)

Danubius Hotel Arena ★★★★

📍 Ifjúság útja 1-3, District XIV-Zuglo, Budapest

"I have stayed at Danubius chain in Budapest before, Helia which is a spa hotel. This is more of a business location being beside the Puskas Arena and the M2 subway line and the 1 Tram line which gives multiple transit options if not using a hire vehicle or taxi. Breakfast was very decent, service attentive and professional. The room was clean with a few minor issues ie bathtub not draining quickly, furniture showing age (I understand so not an issue) and the facilities very good for my purpose - large gym with all required equipment, smaller pool but still permitted laps and a sauna all of which I used each day. As my last day had me leaving before breakfast, I was provided with a takeaway bag. All much appreciated. Front desk very helpful and kind. I enjoyed my stay very much."

Centrooms House

"Very nice clean hostel, nice rooms and reasonably located with ample travel options, not so good if you want to be bang central but either way easily accessible"

Mamaison VIBE Hotel Downtown Budapest
9.6 (116 reviews)

Mamaison VIBE Hotel Downtown Budapest ★★★★

📍 Mérleg u. 4, District V-Belvaros-Lipotvaros, Budapest

"I enjoyed the hotel but the fire alarm went off a few times during the night which turned out to be a false alarm."

Ibis Budapest Heroes Square ★★★
"The location is good, right next to Heroes' Square and City Park. There's a delicious Turkish kebab shop just a few minutes' walk away, reasonably priced and with generous portions. The ambiance is nice, with European-style architecture to admire. The bed in the room was damp because there are tall buildings opposite, so there's not much sunlight. The bathroom needs improvement; water leaks out after showering, forcing you to cover it with a towel. The air conditioning is really cold and seems unadjustable. The breakfast is mediocre. Not good value for money, not recommended."

IntercityHotel Budapest ★★★★
"This hotel is really conveniently located, with plenty of subway and bus lines nearby. There are also lots of food and drink options in the area. My only complaint is that the bed seemed a bit dusty; even a light pat would stir up a lot of lint. Otherwise, I'm very happy with everything."
