Triple M Hotel ★★★
"Everything was good!"
Corinthia Budapest ★★★★★
An 1896 hotel featuring an Art Deco Royal Spa — complete with a pool, saunas, and thermal treatments, and just two stops on the M1 from the Széchenyi Baths.
Sous44 ★★★
"Classic and nice rooms."
IntercityHotel Budapest ★★★★
"The hotel's location is extremely convenient, right next to Keleti train station. You just need to cross the street to get there, which is super handy for travelers arriving by train. The hotel facilities are new, and the staff are very friendly. I initially had trouble connecting to the hotel's Wi-Fi, but the front desk helped me resolve it. There's a Spar supermarket downstairs, and an Aldi supermarket about a five-minute walk away, with the Aldi being larger."
Ibis Budapest Castle Hill ★★★
"The hotel environment is nice, but the facilities are quite basic. What made me really angry was that I left my pajamas on the bed, and when I came back at night, although the bed had been made, my pajamas were thrown on the floor! They could have easily been placed on the nearby chair, but instead, they were tossed on the ground! Even if they had accidentally fallen, the staff could have at least picked them up. But they didn’t even bother! It completely ruined my mood. I’m so upset!"
Monastery Boutique Hotel Budapest ★★★★
"The room was clean and spacious and the hotel itself was a lovely space and unique. The staff were friendly and helpful and the location in the Buda section of the city was very convenient for picking up the tram and walking along to see the Parliament building across the Danube at night or day. Very close to Buda Castle as well. The breakfast was good."
JO&JOE Budapest ★★
"Very recommend~Very close at the station, nearby have supermarket and feel safe . There are some restaurants and bars. Chill"
Novotel Budapest Danube ★★★★
"I liked the location and the wonderful breakfast. The rooms were clean, and although small, they were cozy. However, the staff was indifferent; I didn't notice any active engagement from them."
Prestige Hotel Budapest ★★★★
A boutique hotel housed in a 19th-century city palace — home to the Michelin-starred Costes Downtown restaurant, rooms decked out with Cavalli furniture, and just a four-minute stroll from the Chain Bridge.

Island Hostel Budapest
"Upon arrival, you will receive a locker key where you can find your pillow and blanket. The bed is more comfortable than many hostels with very hard beds. Overall, I felt good. I would have liked to stay here for several weeks. It is a calm, quiet place and Edit at the reception is a really good person."
Hotel Veritas
"When we arrived, everything seemed fine at first. Check-in was smooth, and we received our key cards without any issues. But the disappointment came quickly once we entered the room. The space was extremely narrow, with three beds crammed in, and there was a large hole in the ceiling panel. The duvets were also visibly dirty, which didn’t help the first impression. We told ourselves, "We're only sleeping here, so let’s just make it work." We tried connecting to the WiFi, but there was no signal in the room. One of us had to go down to reception just to get a basic connection to check if it was even functioning. The minibar didn’t work, and neither did the TV. At that point, we started looking for alternative hotels. Instead, I spoke to reception and requested another room. To their credit, they came up, inspected the situation, and agreed that the room was not acceptable. We were moved to a new room where the fridge and TV worked — but unfortunately, the WiFi was still basically unusable. I was unable to work from the room at all and had to sit in the lobby to get anything done. Breakfast was okay, but not quite what we had expected. Overall, while the staff was helpful and did their best to resolve the issues, the condition of the first room and the lack of basic amenities made this a disappointing stay."
Four Seasons Hotel Gresham Palace Budapest
The Art Nouveau Gresham Palace by the Chain Bridge — take in views of the castle and the Danube from the lobby and suites, all with impeccable Four Seasons service.
Petneházy Aparthotel
"This is such a little hidden gem of a place! Sauna in our room! Amazing! And David at the reception was so great to work with. Always there to help and give us info on the things we needed! I 100% recommend!"
Hilton Budapest
"The room was spacious and the bedding was comfortable. It's right next to Fisherman's Bastion. Getting a room felt like opening a mystery box; we didn't hit the jackpot this time, but if you're looking to catch the sunrise or sunset over Budapest, overlooking the Danube, this is definitely the top choice. Plus, the hotel restaurant is amazing – I highly recommend the duck breast!"
Aria Hotel Budapest by Library Hotel Collection
A music boutique hotel just 100m from St. Stephen's Basilica — four wings (classical, opera, jazz, pop), the High Note rooftop bar and a spa.
InterContinental Budapest
A hotel on the Pest waterfront — enjoy 'river' rooms with views of Buda Castle, the Chain Bridge, and Gellért Hill across the Danube.
Pullman Budapest
A design hotel just two minutes from the Opera and Andrássy Avenue — featuring a crown-shaped rooftop with a bar and city views, and stylish rooms.
Expo Tower by Mellow Mood Hotels
"Nice hotel and amazing breakfast"
Verdi Budapest Aquincum
"Our group of five arrived at the hotel in the evening and entered the lobby. We felt the unique and warm decoration style of the hotel. The hotel front desk warmly received us. Although the room was not large, the facilities were complete, clean, and tidy. The only downside was that there was no shower room, and the surroundings were quiet, allowing us to enjoy a deep sleep. The breakfast on the second day was diverse and very rich. The restaurant environment was also very good. The staff were well-dressed and elegant. Sitting by the window, the sunlight shone in, and the mood for the day was bright. It is very close to the main attractions in the city. I will continue to choose this hotel when I have the opportunity to visit Budapest again."
Lion's Garden Hotel
"A very suitable hotel for family trips, not far from New York Cafe, and 30 minutes walk to the main attractions. Very comfortable and clean! Free parking at the door on weekends."
Onyx Luxury Budapest
"Facilities: OK Sanitation: OK Environment: OK Service: OK I stayed at this hotel for three days. The decoration is very new, the room is large, the service is thoughtful, the location is also very good, and the most important thing is that it is cheap and includes breakfast. It is very OK"
a&o Budapest City
"## Ambiance: The hotel boasts a lovely inner courtyard and a nice backyard. The lobby is also quite spacious, offering plenty of common areas and pleasant background music. ## Room: 1. I opted for a double bed room, which felt a bit cramped. It was roughly 15 square meters, not very comfortable, poorly ventilated, and lacking in natural light. However, it was a good price for a solo traveler. 2. The room window couldn't open fully, only a small slit, and it was a tall, narrow window. There was air conditioning in the room. 3. The bathroom did have some noise, as the exhaust fan seemed to be constantly on, but it was acceptable. It had a wet/dry separation, and the bathroom itself was spacious, though the shower stall felt a bit tight when closing the door. There was a hairdryer, and typical of European bathrooms, the trash cans were quite small. 4. I recall the room desk being small. The bed appeared to be two 2-meter by 0.9-meter beds pushed together. ## Service: The hotel staff were quite enthusiastic. ## Location: Hostels are typically in city centers, and this one has a decent location. There were even scooters outside the entrance, and nearby, there were snack shops open late at night, attracting many young people."
Mercure Budapest Castle Hill
"On the last day, when checking out, I had the 'do not disturb' sign on the door and it was locked. Yet, someone opened the door and walked in around 8 AM, before check-out time. It seems the lock was just for show."
Maverick Central Market
"Clean and quiet place at night time and large space and storage space is provide"
Novotel Budapest City
"Convenient location, average breakfast, overall stay = good"
