Ibis Budapest Heroes Square ★★★
The budget-friendly Ibis hotel is near Heroes' Square and the Hősök tere (M1) metro station — the Széchenyi Thermal Bath is just a seven-minute walk away.
IntercityHotel Budapest ★★★★
"The hotel's location is extremely convenient, right next to Keleti train station. You just need to cross the street to get there, which is super handy for travelers arriving by train. The hotel facilities are new, and the staff are very friendly. I initially had trouble connecting to the hotel's Wi-Fi, but the front desk helped me resolve it. There's a Spar supermarket downstairs, and an Aldi supermarket about a five-minute walk away, with the Aldi being larger."
City Hotel Mátyás ★★★
"This hotel is very well located right in the centre of all the shops, bars and restaurants. It is great value for money, and I would recommend it."
Mövenpick Hotel Budapest Centre ★★★★
A 1911 landmark building right by the Blaha Lujza tér metro station (M2) — featuring 227 soundproofed rooms and the Palace restaurant, all set within historic interiors.
Sous44 ★★★
"Very good but tv does not shows anything good Internet. Perfect location near all"
Danubius Hotel Arena ★★★★
"I have stayed at Danubius chain in Budapest before, Helia which is a spa hotel. This is more of a business location being beside the Puskas Arena and the M2 subway line and the 1 Tram line which gives multiple transit options if not using a hire vehicle or taxi. Breakfast was very decent, service attentive and professional. The room was clean with a few minor issues ie bathtub not draining quickly, furniture showing age (I understand so not an issue) and the facilities very good for my purpose - large gym with all required equipment, smaller pool but still permitted laps and a sauna all of which I used each day. As my last day had me leaving before breakfast, I was provided with a takeaway bag. All much appreciated. Front desk very helpful and kind. I enjoyed my stay very much."
Centrooms House ★★★
"Excellent location, worth money, comfortable beds"
AMISTAT Hub Hostel Budapest ★★
"Very nice clean hostel, nice rooms and reasonably located with ample travel options, not so good if you want to be bang central but either way easily accessible"
Mamaison VIBE Hotel Downtown Budapest ★★★★
"I enjoyed the hotel but the fire alarm went off a few times during the night which turned out to be a false alarm."
Choose the Perfect Budapest Stay for Your Travel Needs
Petneházy Aparthotel
"It's about a 30-minute drive from the city center and about an hour from the airport. We booked a sauna room, which was available, and there's also a heated swimming pool. The breakfast was rather limited, mostly Western-style cold dishes, but it'll do. Overall, the environment is nice, and the price is reasonable. The sofa in the living room can be converted into a bed, accommodating up to four people."
Island Hostel Budapest
"It’s one of the best and most beautiful places in Budapest, and unbeatable in terms of value for money."
Hotel Veritas
"A very warm welcome! Perfect breakfast and dinner, very clean and practical room! Very close to the metro, the arena and the stadium, shops and restaurants nearby. Very helpful and gives good advice. Hotel to recommend"
Danubius Hotel Erzsébet City Center
"I really liked the hotel! The location is excellent! It's clean, everything is new and beautiful. There's a kettle, but it was leaking a bit. There was no fridge in the room, which was a drawback. Plenty of hangers for clothes. Clean towels and bed linen. Definitely recommend!"
Corinthia Budapest
An 1896 hotel featuring an Art Deco Royal Spa — complete with a pool, saunas, and thermal treatments, and just two stops on the M1 from the Széchenyi Baths.
Kempinski Hotel Corvinus Budapest
The Kempinski Hotel is by Erzsébet Square, just 350m from the Deák transport hub (M1/M2/M3) — featuring Nobu and ÉS Bisztró restaurants and a spa complex.
Kimpton BEM BUDAPEST by IHG
"The room was clean and tidy."
Hilton Budapest
"The views are absolutely stunning – you can see both Fisherman's Bastion and the Parliament Building from here. The room itself was very spacious, with lots of thoughtful details. There's also a large lounge area right by the elevators. Overall, the hotel's style really lives up to the Hilton standard. However, I can't quite understand why, even though we'd already paid for breakfast, we'd have to pay for it again if we wanted it delivered to the room, instead of just an additional service charge. I'm really unhappy about this point; it feels very inflexible."
Lion's Garden Hotel
"A modern and functional facility. Very polite and cheerful staff. Breakfast is quite generous, both savory and sweet. One flaw: it's a bit far from the center, but nothing a taxi or a nice walk won't fix. It's certainly quiet in the summer, but perhaps less so in the winter with sub-zero temperatures. The indoor pool, gym, and hot tub are fine. The chlorine levels just need to be adjusted better. Anyway, overall, an excellent facility; I would happily return."
Prestige Hotel Budapest
A boutique hotel housed in a 19th-century city palace — home to the Michelin-starred Costes Downtown restaurant, rooms decked out with Cavalli furniture, and just a four-minute stroll from the Chain Bridge.
Verdi Budapest Aquincum
"I just stayed 1 night so it's hard to analyse the experience seriously. For the price it was OK. I would recommend some upgrades, but i assume there's not enough guests to get back the value for the same price. The hand cream was empty in the bathroom, that was the worst thing i can tell. And the WiFi was terrible for watching live streams so i used my own mobilenet."
Expo Tower by Mellow Mood Hotels
Comfortable city stays combine modern amenities with relaxation, featuring a spa, sauna, free gym and on-site parking, just 160m from Hungexpo Budapest Congress and Exhibition Centre.
Novotel Budapest Danube
"Very small room with a courtyard view. The staff were more than reserved. The breakfasts, with a view of the Danube and Parliament, were wonderful."
Full Moon Budapest
"Great new hotel"
Hotel Bristol Budapest
The Three Corners Hotel in Józsefváros — enjoy modern rooms, a continental breakfast, and a quick ride on the M2 metro line to Keleti Railway Station.
Boutique Hotel Victoria Budapest
"The scenery is very good and the breakfast is good"
