Triple M Hotel ★★★
"Everything was good!"
Corinthia Budapest ★★★★★
An 1896 hotel featuring an Art Deco Royal Spa — complete with a pool, saunas, and thermal treatments, and just two stops on the M1 from the Széchenyi Baths.
Sous44 ★★★
"Classic and nice rooms."
IntercityHotel Budapest ★★★★
"The hotel's location is extremely convenient, right next to Keleti train station. You just need to cross the street to get there, which is super handy for travelers arriving by train. The hotel facilities are new, and the staff are very friendly. I initially had trouble connecting to the hotel's Wi-Fi, but the front desk helped me resolve it. There's a Spar supermarket downstairs, and an Aldi supermarket about a five-minute walk away, with the Aldi being larger."
Ibis Budapest Castle Hill ★★★
"The hotel environment is nice, but the facilities are quite basic. What made me really angry was that I left my pajamas on the bed, and when I came back at night, although the bed had been made, my pajamas were thrown on the floor! They could have easily been placed on the nearby chair, but instead, they were tossed on the ground! Even if they had accidentally fallen, the staff could have at least picked them up. But they didn’t even bother! It completely ruined my mood. I’m so upset!"
Monastery Boutique Hotel Budapest ★★★★
"Read my other review"
JO&JOE Budapest ★★
"Very recommend~Very close at the station, nearby have supermarket and feel safe . There are some restaurants and bars. Chill"
Novotel Budapest Danube ★★★★
"I liked the location and the wonderful breakfast. The rooms were clean, and although small, they were cozy. However, the staff was indifferent; I didn't notice any active engagement from them."
Prestige Hotel Budapest ★★★★
A boutique hotel housed in a 19th-century city palace — home to the Michelin-starred Costes Downtown restaurant, rooms decked out with Cavalli furniture, and just a four-minute stroll from the Chain Bridge.

Hotel Veritas
"When we arrived, everything seemed fine at first. Check-in was smooth, and we received our key cards without any issues. But the disappointment came quickly once we entered the room. The space was extremely narrow, with three beds crammed in, and there was a large hole in the ceiling panel. The duvets were also visibly dirty, which didn’t help the first impression. We told ourselves, "We're only sleeping here, so let’s just make it work." We tried connecting to the WiFi, but there was no signal in the room. One of us had to go down to reception just to get a basic connection to check if it was even functioning. The minibar didn’t work, and neither did the TV. At that point, we started looking for alternative hotels. Instead, I spoke to reception and requested another room. To their credit, they came up, inspected the situation, and agreed that the room was not acceptable. We were moved to a new room where the fridge and TV worked — but unfortunately, the WiFi was still basically unusable. I was unable to work from the room at all and had to sit in the lobby to get anything done. Breakfast was okay, but not quite what we had expected. Overall, while the staff was helpful and did their best to resolve the issues, the condition of the first room and the lack of basic amenities made this a disappointing stay."
Petneházy Aparthotel
"This is such a little hidden gem of a place! Sauna in our room! Amazing! And David at the reception was so great to work with. Always there to help and give us info on the things we needed! I 100% recommend!"
Island Hostel Budapest
"Upon arrival, you will receive a locker key where you can find your pillow and blanket. The bed is more comfortable than many hostels with very hard beds. Overall, I felt good. I would have liked to stay here for several weeks. It is a calm, quiet place and Edit at the reception is a really good person."
Aquaworld Resort Budapest
"A very nice hotel for families, great water park and services, the food needs an improvement"
Budapest Marriott Hotel
All 364 rooms face the Danube — the windows offer views of Buda Castle, Erzsébet Bridge, and Gellért Hill.
Hilton Budapest
"The room was spacious and the bedding was comfortable. It's right next to Fisherman's Bastion. Getting a room felt like opening a mystery box; we didn't hit the jackpot this time, but if you're looking to catch the sunrise or sunset over Budapest, overlooking the Danube, this is definitely the top choice. Plus, the hotel restaurant is amazing – I highly recommend the duck breast!"
Kimpton BEM BUDAPEST by IHG
"Great hotel. Iconic view from its riverside location. Friendly and helpful staff from the moment you check-in. Well appointed spa with steam, sauna and hot pool. Massage on request. Nice open breakfast buffet."
Anantara New York Palace Budapest - A Leading Hotel of The World
"Everything about this is good"
Nexto Dormero Hotel Budapest
"The room is spacious, the bathroom is also large, and there are facilities for disabled guests. It's not far from the boat tour area, but you need to walk to the tram stop. After check-out, there is a room available for free luggage storage."
Mercure Budapest Castle Hill
"On the last day, when checking out, I had the 'do not disturb' sign on the door and it was locked. Yet, someone opened the door and walked in around 8 AM, before check-out time. It seems the lock was just for show."
InterContinental Budapest
A hotel on the Pest waterfront — enjoy 'river' rooms with views of Buda Castle, the Chain Bridge, and Gellért Hill across the Danube.
Danubius Hotel Hungaria City Center
"The hotel's location is good, but the check-in time is really strict. You can't check in until after 2 PM. We arrived at 1 PM and were told there was a room available, but we'd have to pay 20 euros for early check-in...! We had to sit in the lobby for an hour waiting for the official check-in time, which was quite annoying."
TL Hotel Budapest (EasyHotel Budapest Oktogon)
"It’s located at literally city part, quite close to the main station. Also they offer quite a huge bed for single too so I could completely relax during staying."
H2 Hotel Budapest
"Great hotel . Conveniently located to town, parliament,Danube, etc . Staff very pleasant . Air conditioning good , breakfast good and not any queues . It was 29 degrees while there and we were glad to get back to air conditioned room ."
Danubius Hotel Arena
"The staff was very nice, the hotel is very close to the metro station."
BasiliQ Hotel
"An outstanding new hotel at the very centre of Budapest. Excellent location, facilities and most importantly staff. They were all very welcoming, always with a smile. Upon arrival i got an upgrade to their signature room and view to Basilica was something special, especially with the Christmas market and night light show. Highly recommended for families and solo travelers due to its location and modern design, breakfast was very good too ❤️"
