📍 Rákóczi út 44, District VII-Erzsebetvaros, Budapest
★★★ 8.1 (63 reviews)

"The hotel is in a great location, with a metro station nearby, which makes it easy to get around the city. It takes no more than 10–15 minutes to reach the centre of Budapest by metro. The breakfast offers a good selection of food. On the downside, the bed linen was not very clean — I found quite a few hairs on it and noticed a couple of ants in the bathroom. Overall, I am satisfied with my choice of hotel."

IntercityHotel Budapest

"It's alright. I've stayed here a few times already. It's right next to the train station, which is convenient for shopping and transportation. The breakfast is also quite good and varied. Once you book a non-refundable rate, it's pretty much non-refundable, even if you try to cancel two months in advance, haha."

"Stayed for my mother's birthday on March 2nd 2026 , and was given a room without any view - despite it being on the 7th floor (top most) Went down to reception , and politely requested for a change of room to suit the occasion. The staff at the reception responded coldly " That would be an additional 50 Euros. " By the way , upon payment , no receipt was given. There was no invoice provided when I checked out either. I paid for the toom upgrade but the service attitude was quite lacking. Next - checking into room 732 (the corner of the seventh floor) gave us a good view of the parliament building , but the bathroom fixtures and stain on the floor carpet was disappointing. The extra fold out sofabed should just be replaced with a regular bed. The windows should be cleaned regularly. There were no USB sockets nor power sockets near the bedframe in order to facilitate charging of electronics. This seems to be a serious oversight for a 4 star hotel. We've stayed in other Novotel locations and they have all been excellent. So caveat emptor , review readers - you've been warned !"

"Unfortunately, it's located next to a construction site, so there was disruptive noise in the mornings. The gym was under renovation and unusable, and unfortunately, we only received this information at check-in! Breakfast was okay, but with very limited selection. Positives: Coffee machines in the lobby and in the room."

"I stayed at Expo Congress Hotel, and it was a terrible experience. First, they completely failed to accommodate my dietary needs. I requested soy milk, but they didn’t have it, even though I have a milk sensitivity. Their claim of offering plant-based milk was false. The room was infested with bugs and mosquitoes, making it uncomfortable and unhealthy. If you’re into that sort of thing, this is the place for you! The cleaning was very poor, and I have photos to prove the unsanitary conditions. Also, the sauna didn’t work most of the time, and I had to ask staff to operate it. Overall, I wouldn’t recommend this hotel. There are far better options where you won’t have to deal with bugs and etc."

"We had an absolutely incredible experience during our stay. Best was the swimming pool area. The surroundings were stunning, with breathtaking scenery that left us in awe. Every aspect of the resort was meticulously organized, creating a seamless experience from check-in to check-out. We especially enjoyed the expansive pool area, which was perfect for relaxing and soaking up the sun. Thank you for welcoming us so warmly; it truly made our visit unforgettable!"

Triple M Hotel ★★★
"I really enjoyed my stay here. The room was very spacious and clean. Bed was comfortable, shower pressure was excellent and lots of hot water. WiFi in my room, 102 could have been better, it kept dropping. 😔 Staff were very pleasant and helpful.A little area out at that back which was quiet if you fancied a smoke or a drink. Bus stop for the 72 and number 9 very close by. For the price I paid it was EXCELLENT value in Budapest and I'd happily stay here again.👍"
