Ibis Budapest Heroes Square ★★★
The budget-friendly Ibis hotel is near Heroes' Square and the Hősök tere (M1) metro station — the Széchenyi Thermal Bath is just a seven-minute walk away.
IntercityHotel Budapest ★★★★
"The hotel's location is extremely convenient, right next to Keleti train station. You just need to cross the street to get there, which is super handy for travelers arriving by train. The hotel facilities are new, and the staff are very friendly. I initially had trouble connecting to the hotel's Wi-Fi, but the front desk helped me resolve it. There's a Spar supermarket downstairs, and an Aldi supermarket about a five-minute walk away, with the Aldi being larger."
City Hotel Mátyás ★★★
"The hotel was clean and the breakfast was varied. Despite being an old building, the location was excellent. It was right in the center and within walking distance of tourist attractions. The only negative was the lack of a desk in the room. When I wanted to eat something, I had to eat in bed."
Mövenpick Hotel Budapest Centre ★★★★
A 1911 landmark building right by the Blaha Lujza tér metro station (M2) — featuring 227 soundproofed rooms and the Palace restaurant, all set within historic interiors.
Sous44 ★★★
"It’s good hotel, it has train in front of hotel and hotel is so quiet"
Danubius Hotel Arena ★★★★
"Conveniently located right by the subway, this hotel is great for business travelers. It has a small balcony, and the room, though a bit compact, was very clean and well-equipped, even with a mini-fridge. My only minor complaint was that the AC couldn't be adjusted and was a bit noisy. The staff were all very friendly, so overall, I had a good experience."
Centrooms House ★★★
"Best accom I ever found in Europe"
AMISTAT Hub Hostel Budapest ★★
"Super super clean and comfortable than u thought."
Mamaison VIBE Hotel Downtown Budapest ★★★★
"Great hotel, friendly staff, very clean. The bar staff are amazing, rooms spacious and comfy 10/10 will be returning."
Choose the Perfect Budapest Stay for Your Travel Needs
Petneházy Aparthotel
"The place is beautiful, the atmosphere is very cozy and welcoming. The location is not close to public transport, but it is easy to call a car via app to the train station and soon be in the center of Budapest. The only bad thing is the breakfast. The breads are not fresh and there is little variety of fruits. They need to improve the breakfast."
Island Hostel Budapest
"Upon arrival, you will receive a locker key where you can find your pillow and blanket. The bed is more comfortable than many hostels with very hard beds. Overall, I felt good. I would have liked to stay here for several weeks. It is a calm, quiet place and Edit at the reception is a really good person."
Hotel Veritas
"A very warm welcome! Perfect breakfast and dinner, very clean and practical room! Very close to the metro, the arena and the stadium, shops and restaurants nearby. Very helpful and gives good advice. Hotel to recommend"
Danubius Hotel Erzsébet City Center
"Great location, and the rooms, bathroom, and overall ambiance all felt new! However, the air conditioning was a letdown. Initially, it was stuck at 24°C. After I complained, I received a very polite email explaining they had been experiencing issues for two days. I was able to lower the temperature setting to 17.5°C, but in practice, it felt just like 24°C; the room never got cool. Maybe a good option for winter, but definitely not for summer!"
Corinthia Budapest
An 1896 hotel featuring an Art Deco Royal Spa — complete with a pool, saunas, and thermal treatments, and just two stops on the M1 from the Széchenyi Baths.
Kempinski Hotel Corvinus Budapest
The Kempinski Hotel is by Erzsébet Square, just 350m from the Deák transport hub (M1/M2/M3) — featuring Nobu and ÉS Bisztró restaurants and a spa complex.
Kimpton BEM BUDAPEST by IHG
"Nice staff, nice breakfast, nice stay."
Hilton Budapest
"The room was spacious and the bedding was comfortable. It's right next to Fisherman's Bastion. Getting a room felt like opening a mystery box; we didn't hit the jackpot this time, but if you're looking to catch the sunrise or sunset over Budapest, overlooking the Danube, this is definitely the top choice. Plus, the hotel restaurant is amazing – I highly recommend the duck breast!"
Hotel Castle Garden
A peaceful castle hotel combines historic charm with modern comforts, featuring a private spa, sauna and massage room, ideally located in Budapest’s Castle District near Buda Castle and Fisherman’s Bastion.
Prestige Hotel Budapest
A boutique hotel housed in a 19th-century city palace — home to the Michelin-starred Costes Downtown restaurant, rooms decked out with Cavalli furniture, and just a four-minute stroll from the Chain Bridge.
Expo Tower by Mellow Mood Hotels
Comfortable city stays combine modern amenities with relaxation, featuring a spa, sauna, free gym and on-site parking, just 160m from Hungexpo Budapest Congress and Exhibition Centre.
Verdi Budapest Aquincum
"Our group of five arrived at the hotel in the evening and entered the lobby. We felt the unique and warm decoration style of the hotel. The hotel front desk warmly received us. Although the room was not large, the facilities were complete, clean, and tidy. The only downside was that there was no shower room, and the surroundings were quiet, allowing us to enjoy a deep sleep. The breakfast on the second day was diverse and very rich. The restaurant environment was also very good. The staff were well-dressed and elegant. Sitting by the window, the sunlight shone in, and the mood for the day was bright. It is very close to the main attractions in the city. I will continue to choose this hotel when I have the opportunity to visit Budapest again."
Novotel Budapest Danube
"Very small room with a courtyard view. The staff were more than reserved. The breakfasts, with a view of the Danube and Parliament, were wonderful."
Full Moon Budapest
"Close both to the train station and riverside. Clean and decent room."
Hotel Bristol Budapest
The Three Corners Hotel in Józsefváros — enjoy modern rooms, a continental breakfast, and a quick ride on the M2 metro line to Keleti Railway Station.
Lion's Garden Hotel
"One thing I like about business trips is that the air conditioning temperature is relatively balanced. I recommend using one thin pillow, one thick pillow, and one very thin pillow. Currently, both pillows are a bit too thick."
