Prime Stay Budapest
"The room was spacious, the only drawback was its distance from the city's attractions."
IntercityHotel Budapest
"It's alright. I've stayed here a few times already. It's right next to the train station, which is convenient for shopping and transportation. The breakfast is also quite good and varied. Once you book a non-refundable rate, it's pretty much non-refundable, even if you try to cancel two months in advance, haha."
Ibis Budapest Castle Hill
"Location perfect, 5 mins walk from main train station (Deli) and trams\buses. Room fairly basic but clean and fit for purpose. No fridge, small TV with limited local channels - no SMART option. Air Con centrally controlled and not cool enough for us. Service good when required. Extra pillows, storing medication in fridge etc.."
Apple guesthouse
"Clean house, staff is very friendly. It is close to the airport, but very far from the city center. Easy train ride that takes about 25 minutes though. Otherwise the night busses back to the location typically takes around an hour. I would highly recommend this place if you want a cozy relaxing location to see the outskirts regions of Budapest."
Ibis Styles Budapest Center
"Best wifi in IBIS in Europe. If you really need it, Get the business center wifi. And Very good location and free tea and water. Strongly recommend."
Dean's Home Budapest
"I had a wonderful experience at this hotel. The location is perfect — close to everything and very convenient for exploring the area. The breakfast was delicious with a great variety of options. Highly recommend for anyone looking for comfort, great food, and easy access to attractions!"
Triple M Hotel
"I really enjoyed my stay here. The room was very spacious and clean. Bed was comfortable, shower pressure was excellent and lots of hot water. WiFi in my room, 102 could have been better, it kept dropping. 😔 Staff were very pleasant and helpful.A little area out at that back which was quiet if you fancied a smoke or a drink. Bus stop for the 72 and number 9 very close by. For the price I paid it was EXCELLENT value in Budapest and I'd happily stay here again.👍"
Corinthia Budapest
An 1896 hotel featuring an Art Deco Royal Spa — complete with a pool, saunas, and thermal treatments, and just two stops on the M1 from the Széchenyi Baths.
Central Hotel 21 and Apartments
"The location is quite convenient but the hotel is quite old. Nevertheless, the room and facilities are working fine. The street leading to the hotel was quite dim at night though. It was a great option for those who want to spend less."

Hotel Veritas
"Upon arrival, we discovered the fridge was not working and emitted a moldy smell, which required us to air out the room. Although a staff member firstly advised that we can leave our food in staff fridge for the night and he can't change it, he eventually replaced the fridge with a functional one later that evening. Later in the evening water started leaking from the ceiling due to a malfunctioning air conditioner. A staff member attempted to adjust the air conditioner, but the next day, a section of the suspended ceiling, along with metal parts from the air conditioner, fell to the floor due to the moisture. Fortunately, my children were in different parts of the room when this happened, but it could have been a serious safety hazard as one of them at the time of ceiling failure was in the bathroom which was 1 meter from the spot where it happened. A member of staff collected the fallen ceiling parts, but the water leakage persisted throughout the night. We were offered drinks at the bar as compensation, but since it was 11 PM and we were with our children, we asked the hotel to cover our parking instead. The staff member assured us that this would be no problem. Upon checking out, we discovered a thick layer of dust under the sofa, which was pulled out when we arrived. Tiles on the balcony ceiling had already fallen and shattered before our arrival, indicating a pattern of neglect. When we handed in the keys, we were informed that the owner refused to cover our parking fees as previously promised by staff and the owner attempted to blame us for overusing the air conditioner, which had been set by their staff. The hotel is incredibly run-down. Electrical outlets hang out of the walls, all lamps are filled with dead insects, and there are no kettles or tableware in the room. The safe had no batteries, and although the TV worked, we had to connect the antenna cable ourselves. The only thing that I can list as relatively adequate is the breakfast. They were not ready to serve for the amount of people that were actually having the breakfast, but when trays were filled it was fine."
Island Hostel Budapest
"Very kind staff, beautiful view and terrasse right outside the room overlooking the Danube. As regards the bed, the mattress was unfortunately a bit too soft, and I would have appreciated it if the bed was equipped with a bed rail. I didn't use the kitchen, but it seemed to be well-equipped. And the terrasse looks perfect to have your breakfast with such a view. Very good location, on a quiet island in the middle of the city. A good experience overall."
Aquaworld Resort Budapest
"Very good"
Petneházy Aparthotel
"This is such a little hidden gem of a place! Sauna in our room! Amazing! And David at the reception was so great to work with. Always there to help and give us info on the things we needed! I 100% recommend!"
Aria Hotel Budapest by Library Hotel Collection
A music boutique hotel just 100m from St. Stephen's Basilica — four wings (classical, opera, jazz, pop), the High Note rooftop bar and a spa.
Dorothea Hotel, Budapest, Autograph Collection
"Excellent location in the city center near river. Clean hotel with excellent service from hotel staffs."
Kimpton BEM BUDAPEST by IHG
"Very good, convenient transportation"
Hilton Budapest
"The view was absolutely unbeatable! I emailed the hotel in advance to reserve Room 418 and paid an extra €40 — totally worth it!! The room, atmosphere, and overall experience were amazing. Highly recommended!"
Prestige Hotel Budapest
A boutique hotel housed in a 19th-century city palace — home to the Michelin-starred Costes Downtown restaurant, rooms decked out with Cavalli furniture, and just a four-minute stroll from the Chain Bridge.
Verdi Budapest Aquincum
"The hotel was quite cold for the two weeks of my stay due to a technical issue. Unfortunately, the spa area—which was the main reason I chose this hotel—was also too cold to fully enjoy. The hotel itself is old, with dated furniture and very basic amenities, but everything was clean. There’s nothing particularly special about the place, however it offers decent value for the money."
Leonardo Hotel Budapest
"I expected more from a Leonardo Hotel Although it was good value for money, good location, and very good staff and services, the building needed more attention. The shower door didn't close, the seat didn't flush toilet paper, and renovations were taking place"
Budapest Marriott Hotel
All 364 rooms face the Danube — the windows offer views of Buda Castle, Erzsébet Bridge, and Gellért Hill.
Novotel Budapest Danube
"Terrible reception desk service. One of three reception employees provided terrible and unkind service. Never forgot the terrible service. Don't recommend highly to stay Asian persons in the hotel."
Mamaison Hotel Andrassy Budapest
An Art Deco hotel in the 6th District — a 15-minute walk to the Széchenyi Thermal Bath and ten minutes to Heroes' Square.
Mamaison Residence Izabella Budapest
"Well equipped bnb, the only problem is that the room is meant to be cleaned 1 time per week, which means it wouldn’t be cleaned during the stay"
Omega Guesthouse Budapest
"The location is perfect as it is located nearby metro stations, bus and trams which is very accessible when you want to go to tourist areas. There are also grocery store and other stores nearby. The staff were very friendly and accomodating. It is just that you can hear the noises from outside."
