"It was just okay, typical GreenTree Inn standards. The view was great, but everything else was pretty average. Lots of Koreans staying there. The room was small, but cleanliness was decent. The facilities were old. The main advantage is its proximity to Fisherman's Bastion; it's just a short walk up the hill. You can even wait for the Parliament building to light up at night, and you can get good photos right from the hotel hallway."

"Upon arrival, we discovered the fridge was not working and emitted a moldy smell, which required us to air out the room. Although a staff member firstly advised that we can leave our food in staff fridge for the night and he can't change it, he eventually replaced the fridge with a functional one later that evening. Later in the evening water started leaking from the ceiling due to a malfunctioning air conditioner. A staff member attempted to adjust the air conditioner, but the next day, a section of the suspended ceiling, along with metal parts from the air conditioner, fell to the floor due to the moisture. Fortunately, my children were in different parts of the room when this happened, but it could have been a serious safety hazard as one of them at the time of ceiling failure was in the bathroom which was 1 meter from the spot where it happened. A member of staff collected the fallen ceiling parts, but the water leakage persisted throughout the night. We were offered drinks at the bar as compensation, but since it was 11 PM and we were with our children, we asked the hotel to cover our parking instead. The staff member assured us that this would be no problem. Upon checking out, we discovered a thick layer of dust under the sofa, which was pulled out when we arrived. Tiles on the balcony ceiling had already fallen and shattered before our arrival, indicating a pattern of neglect. When we handed in the keys, we were informed that the owner refused to cover our parking fees as previously promised by staff and the owner attempted to blame us for overusing the air conditioner, which had been set by their staff. The hotel is incredibly run-down. Electrical outlets hang out of the walls, all lamps are filled with dead insects, and there are no kettles or tableware in the room. The safe had no batteries, and although the TV worked, we had to connect the antenna cable ourselves. The only thing that I can list as relatively adequate is the breakfast. They were not ready to serve for the amount of people that were actually having the breakfast, but when trays were filled it was fine."

"The place is beautiful, the atmosphere is very cozy and welcoming. The location is not close to public transport, but it is easy to call a car via app to the train station and soon be in the center of Budapest. The only bad thing is the breakfast. The breads are not fresh and there is little variety of fruits. They need to improve the breakfast."

"The big downside is check-out at 10:00 AM. Parking is free (even though the app says it's paid), and it's closed, which is a big plus. I wouldn't stay at this hotel again."

"The facilities are very, very old. Everything else is fine, but the shower facilities are terrible! We stayed in a two-bedroom room with two bathrooms. We checked out and went to other countries for a week before returning to this hotel. We went through four bathrooms in total. I can say responsibly that none of them worked. One of the bathrooms in the first stay had no water at all, and the water pressure in the other was so low that I couldn't wash my hair. The second stay, both shower heads were spraying water toward the wall, so I could only hold them in my hands to take a shower, and the water was hot and cold, which was very, very bad. The location and service are OK, and the room is very quiet. There are many delicious restaurants downstairs, and there is a pedestrian street next to it. The internet celebrity comme chez soi is also a five-minute walk away."

"The hotel is cozy, but the breakfasts are monotonous, and they never changed during our six-day stay. We upgraded to a junior suite with an extra charge because the comfort rooms are so small, it's hard to get to the bed. The shower is tiny."

"We had an amazing stay at The Corinthia. We received a warm welcome on arrival and a room upgrade as we were staying for a week. It was my birthday and Christmas during our trip and the hotel team left treats in our room for both occasions. All the staff we encountered were helpful and friendly. The bar area was a great place to relax after a day of exploring. Aspects of our room were a little tired and if I had paid for this room type I may have been slightly disappointed. It's easy to get around in Budapest as the public transport is brilliant, reliable and regular. There is a tram stop outside the hotel with the nearest metro station only a short walk away."

"It's alright. I've stayed here a few times already. It's right next to the train station, which is convenient for shopping and transportation. The breakfast is also quite good and varied. Once you book a non-refundable rate, it's pretty much non-refundable, even if you try to cancel two months in advance, haha."

"Location perfect, 5 mins walk from main train station (Deli) and trams\buses. Room fairly basic but clean and fit for purpose. No fridge, small TV with limited local channels - no SMART option. Air Con centrally controlled and not cool enough for us. Service good when required. Extra pillows, storing medication in fridge etc.."
