What a gem of a hotel across from the stunning dunes of Camber Sands. An amazing experience, and we loved every minute of it. The service was excellent, as was the food and room. Would definitely recommend and we will most certainly come back.

I went with my husband for a romantic gateway. The place is beautifully decorated, charming and cosy! The bedrooms are comfortable and the food is delicious. The place is located 2 min away from the beautiful beach of Camber Sands. I do highly recommend this hotel.

An excellent stay. We were warmly welcomed, food was great and so were the treatments on the Saturday. Enjoyed the yoga though the heater was noisy. Hotel is relaxed, comfortable and perfect for our needs. A little more information as to what was included and what was not would have been helpful but otherwise perfect

My friend and I have just returned from a one night stay, it was AMAZING! All staff were attentive, friendly, focused and approachable. The attention to detail from arrival in the car park, reception welcome, Spa Treatment welcome, food, drink and housekeeping was outstanding. We were made to feel like we were the only guests at the hotel, nothing was too much trouble , all our requests and needs were met. The food and wine was of an exceptional standard. The hotel, rooms, spa and yoga studio are perfect and unique. A final thank you to everyone and we look forward to recommending to friends, family and returning in the future.

A lovely stay. Stayed here for two nights under the complete experience- highly recommend. Food was excellent, drinks were delightful, room slightly overheated but that didn’t dampen the stay. Slightly limited breakfast menu, but dinner superb! Ruth was standout spa therapist, excellent at her job and really made the massage relaxing. Great location for both the beach and easy hour walk to Rye.

From the moment we arrived it felt like we were staying in someone’s home such was the welcome we received. The place is so cosy and comfortable and has a real Cape Cod feel about it. The food was fantastic as were the drinks and the team were really knowledgeable and helped us decide what to choose even allowing us to sample wines prior to selecting one. The room was beautiful and we really appreciated the upgrade. The Bamford spa products were amazing and we loved the We Have Drift Off turndown service. All in all a wonderful stay and we hope to be back again soon. We didn’t catch everyone’s name but Lindsay and Jo were fantastic but everyone was amazing! Thank you!

We absolutely loved our stay at The Gallivant. The interiors are really stylish and the atmosphere is calm and relaxing. The bedroom was divine with everything you need. There are french doors to a terrace that was perfect for our dog Peggy to roam around. The bar and restaurant served up delicious food with great choices from breakfast through to dinner. The outside bar area is the perfect suntrap to enjoy a cold beer but mostly the staff were an absolute highlight of our stay. The warmest, most brilliant group of people who go above and beyond to ensure you have the best stay. We decided to head to the beach for a quick dog walk and there were hunter boots to borrow and a blanket to take but the cherry on the top was the little packed bag with 2 glasses and 2 ice cold bottles one with a margarita and the other a *****ni to sit on the beach with and enjoy the sunset. Thank you all so much for looking after us- we will definitely be back!

My wife and I went to The Gallivant for quick weekend trip from London. We did the Full Gallivant which included dinner, breakfast, wine x2 and yoga. The inn is very quaint and walking distance to the beach. The room is on small size and has outdoor seating area. The toilet did not work great which is biggest compliant. Love the ceiling fan and moving air it generated. Food was outstanding. Dinner service was slow. Nice bar area with cards and games. Recommend but need to fix plumbing issues.

We stayed at the Gallivant mid-week to celebrate my 60th birthday. From the moment we arrived the staff made us feel incredibly comfortable and welcome. The room was gorgeous with everything we needed and the general stying and planting around the hotel was beautiful. I have come away wanting to add lots of plants to my house and garden! We ate lunch, dinner and breakfast at the Gallivant and all were exceptional. Thank you for looking after us so well, we will definitely be back.
