Grupotel Picafort Beach

The hotel was very clean with friendly staff especially the bar staff. The all inclusive food was very very repetitive breakfast,lunch and dinner was basically the same everyday with a couple of items different so we ate out a couple nights. The hotel and area is aimed at Germans including the food served in the hotel. We went with Tui and their information packs in the hotel didn’t even have an English section. We found the small swimming pool and surrounding area quiet all week with no problem getting a sun lounger. The rooms were cleaned daily to a high standard and the air condition worked great.

Memorable vacation! My husband and I went there in October 2022 but I forgot to leave the review) It was truly amazing vacation. Hotel is so stylish and modern. I like the design and rooms are perfect. Big sofa, tv in living room and bedroom, kitchen is filled with everything you can imagine. Big balcony with nice view. Food in the hotel was so tasty, I was eating sea food every day. Drinks and cocktails were also very-very good!!! Pool was nice and not very busy. Beach is clean and just 5 steps away from the hotel. Water in the sea was warm and very clean. Also there was animation. I loved the couple that was doing magic tricks and a bit of a circus + dance in a fun way, they are super energetic, I still remember them ) We are super happy that we came here on a holiday!

Excellent location, right by beach. Sadly weather was awful, windy, raining and cold so didn't get to use sunbeds. Did notice they charge €18, so over a week it would be quite expensive. We have stayed at hotels on the beach where they belong to hotel so no charge. Not Hotels fault, seems its maybe council run. Food was cooked well, the usual all inclusive, it's never hot enough. Rooms spacious, clean, beds were firm but comfortable and pillows soft and comfy. Probably my only criticism would be lack of entertainment. It was provided on 3 nights only. Loads of shops right by hotel, and a burger king if you fancy a change from all inclusive. If weather had been hot and sunny, it would have been a perfect week.

Rated a 2 for location and food. Location is amazing right on the beach and food is lovely. Most staff rude though, lady on reception always on her phone. Tolo is the best on the bar, welcoming and fun to everyone. A lot of German, we were the only English couple and seemed staff were more welcoming to the German. I mentioned on the booking it was our 6 year anniversary and nothing was done for that, every hotel I have ever stayed at for a birthday or anniversary has done balloons or room upgrade or cava.. something! We even got engaged that day also and the hotel didn't even offer a free premium drink or anything for that! Cocktails are weak and doubt they even have alcohol in them, the spa would be lovely if the steam and sauna was ever on and also they have rules 12-17 years old allowed 10am-12pm accompanied by an adult and then no children.. Well they don't care for that rule. Children in there at all times of all ages, playing volleyball, swinging off the fountains. Rooms are lovely we had a limited sea view but we didn't get fresh sheets during our stay when the room was 'cleaned' - mainly disappointed on the anniversary and engagement just being pushed to the side. A massive event for us and nothing. I wouldn't stay again unfortunately.

Stayed as a couple between 9th and 16th September 2023. So this was a late summer holiday to set us up for winter. Firstly tui are back on top form with the plane staff and on time flights. We arrived on the 9th and immediately was met by a super friendly front counter attendant. She was so nice helpful and friendly. She quickly got us to on our way to the room. Amazing sea view full on and spectacular. We sat on the balcony and enjoyed the view for a bit then off we went exploring the hotel. The bar staff were super friendly and booommmm we had a beer to kick the holiday off. They serve glasses and not pints unless you want to pay extra so we stuck to the local stuff. Ther cocktails are made up and honestly their not brilliant but we enjoyed them all the same. The spirits were quite weak but then it stops any silliness. Overtall you just sit there and take in the stunning views. Food:: We thought it was excellent a d catered for all tastes. The chefs were awesome and we loved the themed nights. We love a buffet so we were suped excited every meal time!! Not one critism with the dining experience. The waiters were super efficient with clearing tables and cleaning. Location: superb..... Your on the beach do we loved it. We bought a bat and ball set and thought we were 23 again 🙃. We ripped it every day and though the pool Was small we also enjoyed it. No problems with getting a bed and no silly behaviour hogging beds. Everywhere was super clean. Room: simplistic with TV and fridge. No they don't stock your fridge with beer wine and soft drinks though we wasn't bothered. There was never any problem getting a drink. The beds were super comfortable even though they were single and pushed together. The cleaner once again kept our room super clean. Overall we loved this holiday. It was low key and quiet. There were a lot of German tourists and also Spanish we with a few young family's thrown in for good measure. Compared to our holiday at the residence in June no it doesn't compare. However this was just over 2k as opposed to 7k. Yes we are going back to the residence next year because you get super pampered. The hotel group is in our opinion excellent 5 stars all the way and the staff made it. Would be happy to return. Loved it........ We stayed in room 302...... Amazing views..... Hotel is nicely located directly at the beach, but do not expect anything fancy. It’s a very basic apart-hotel with very limited amenities available. Just checking the boxes in terms of food, drinks in AI model and that’s it. Definitely take a sea view room.

Pretty clean hotel, great food, quiet and beautiful beach, very helpful staff, comfortable beds, the best hotel for that range of price in mallorca. Also very easy to go around the island with public transport

Lovely hotel right on the beach. Small pool but who needs it when you have the lovely warm sea to walk into! The staff are great especially the bar staff - shout out for Tolo, Ivan, Jamie and the rest of the team who kept the drinks flowing plus Nadia in the dining room who was always cheerful, despite the intense heat (we had two weeks of 33+ temperatures and the aircon worked a treat). The Romantica Drummer was excellent!!! He looked like Dave Grohl which helped! We all had seaview rooms which we weren't expecting. Lots of restaurants and bars in the area. Spoilt for choice really. Would highly recommend this hotel.

Pro's! All areas of the hotel was spotlessly clean including the pool toilet / shower changing room. The staff were amazingly friendly. There was plenty of food choice on all inclusive & always very hot. (Plenty of choices for picky eaters too - i would bring my children next time!) We had an apartment at the back of the hotel which overlooked the road at the back, however there was not an issue with noise. The air con in the room was brilliant & as the temperature was 35deg daily, it was very much needed! The location is second to none - right on the beach. The sea is crystal clear. The pool wasn't exactly massive but was big enough for the people around it. I managed to get a lounger & parasol everyday at my leisure after breakfast - there was no rushing out at the crack of dawn. Cons! This was a package deal with Tui & sadly the transfer took ages. Yes, its an additional cost however i would recommend opting for a private transfer from the airport. Points to note! We visited the spa twice & both times it was empty - i felt like a millionaire with my own indoor pool & facilities! The Steam & Sauna were only switched on at 3pm however this wasnt an issue for us personally but one to note for others maybe. As previous comments have stated, this is a predominantly German destination however this wasnt an issue for us. The booking sheet information was given in German however this is easily translated with an iphone.
