Seriously, I could not find one negative thing about this place. The building is new, the spacious rooms are modern and clean and the bed is comfortable. From the balcony there's a nice view at the sea and the city. The staff is extremely friendly and service provided by Alfredo is beyond expectation! Even with the restaurant closed, he went in the kitchen himself to prepare some delicious Sicilian food for us. Served with some nice local wine of course. We will definitely go back here next time.

Comfortable hotel with friendly, caring staff. Reception staff speaks perfect English but were also happy to help me practice my Italian. What set this hotel apart for me is that all of the staff, from reception to housekeeping, was friendly and seemed to genuinely care to make sure that we were enjoying our stay. There’s a laundry room with washer, dryer and iron, available at no extra charge. Nice breakfast with the usual such as coffee, croissants, cake, toast, meats and cheese, plus boiled eggs and omelets made to order. Also homemade cookies and muffins! Beautiful garden/seating area with hot tub. Our room had a view of Mt. Etna from the window, and a nice balcony in the back. One day after I asked if they could turn the AC down, we returned later that evening to find that the gentleman at the front desk had not only turned the AC down, but had also put a card key in to make sure the room started to cool off while we were gone, and left 2 bottles of water chilling in an ice bucket for us! Only downside for us was that the AC system seemed not to be strong enough to get the room quite cool enough. I didn’t have a car during the daytime so explored the area on foot - there are a bar, a little takeaway place and a fruit stand around the corner. The Deco grocery store is only about 1/2 mile walk, and is across the street from the “Haunted Castle” or Castello di Leucatia, which has an interesting modern history. There’s also remains of a Roman acqueduct on Via Leucatia. Thank you Ollen Apartments for a lovely stay!

We booked an Ollen apartment last minute since our flight was cancelled and it turned out to be a great choice. Our room was very comfortable (with plenty of room for our family of 4), the facilities were all good and the staff were some of the most welcoming we’ve ever experienced. Highly recommended.

My wife and I stayed at the apartment towards the end of July 2023 where flights to Catania were grounded due to a fire incident. As a result, we were initially skeptical about going again and what to expect in Catania but the staff at the apartment was very friendly, very accommodating, made us feel at home, and tend to our needs. They were amazing! We loved the apartment because it is modern and super clean. Overall, we had a great time, and would always go back to the same place!

Alfredo and his staff offered above and beyond service for our 7 night stay. These professionals set a high standard for service in a reasonably priced residential area hotel. Clean, secure and comfortable premises, delicious breakfast, and welcoming, helpful and compassionate staff. Too bad we cannot clone these folks to run every hotel.

Very nice staying. The staff is really helpful and the rooms are great. The location is quiet and appropriate for families. It is safe and nice environment. We enjoyed it. I recommend Ollen apartments.

New, modern facility, very clean and quiet. Smiling staff, gated parking and comfy beds. We had the breakfast delivered to our apartment and it was delicious (the breakfast room was under refurbishment). The facility will soon have also the pool and spa which will be a great addition to their offer. There is a bakery around the corner and the small family run shop nearby. Public transport is poor although the bus station is just around the corner. We had a car so we didn't bother much about it, but it is good to know as the appartment is not centrally located. Some recommendations: We were missing a knife for bread and racks to hang towels and jackets. It is an appartment for 4 but only 2 chairs in the room so we needed to bring one from the balcony. Please put additional 2 chairs into the room. Also, there were 2 balconies in our apartment but on the bigger one there were only 2 chairs. I suggest you put a set of a table + 4 chairs on the balcony, it so pleasant to sit outside.
