"What ever happened in a four star hotel….. booked and paid for a triple but the room with 2 towels 2 small bottles of water (one sparkling so if you don’t drink sparkling water it’s finished). At 10.30pm we return to the hotel we ask for water and nothing they answer that the bar is closed and there is no water in the hotel, we ask for a bottle opener and nothing We conclude with the lack of cutlery Conclusion 1/2 star service Highly not recommended"

"This is my second time to stay here since the new ownership. The staff is first rate! They are very attentive and organized. The restaurant is open for breakfast and dinner. The pastry chef is one of the best! The dinner chef is as good as any 5 star hotel i have stayed in. Customers lunger around in the evening and the atmosphere is very relaxed. Visiting the amazing new spa was something that I was not expecting. The dry sauna is beautiful! Out of a magazine. I will be back."

"A good place for a few days in Catania, the price matches the quality. Check-in may be a bit tricky, so discuss all the details with the owner in advance, as I couldn't get into the building right away and received last-minute check-in instructions on arrival. It's clean and everything works, but I'd like more amenities. For example, an ironing board and a refrigerator in the room would be nice. A few dishes and a kettle would be very welcome. There are some good places for snacks and coffee in the area, and you can walk to the public beach, but it's a bit far from the center. The balcony is nice, but unfortunately, I got a room without a view of Mount Etna, which I so wanted to admire from the balcony. Cleaning is daily."

"Be careful. Acceptable room. Bathroom has no window and not even ventilation system. Poor breakfast packaged and not branded things. But the most serious thing is the area, dirty, degraded. It is not a multi-ethnic area but it is an area with high crime. They broke into the car! They stole objects that I cared about and objects that I had bought for the child! It was enough to say to park the car in a safe place instead what do we get back? That they knew nothing of these episodes that never happened. Instead it is not true! Take a look on the internet you will find a lot of articles where they talk about numerous facts of thefts to the detriment of parked cars, and much more. I am not making anything up we were just victims! Terrible experience."
