Crowne Plaza Changsha Development Zone, An IHG hotel

This hotel is a true gem! The rooms are spacious and clean, with floor-to-ceiling windows offering a fantastic and expansive view of Songya Lake. The mattress was perfectly comfortable – I didn't want to get out of bed! The front desk staff member was incredibly warm and friendly, and she proactively upgraded our room for us. The gym equipment is brand new, the pool is spotless, and swimming a few laps in the evening is incredibly relaxing. They even prepared little gifts for children. Such thoughtful service truly makes you want to return!

Such a comfortable stay! For this business trip to Changsha, I stayed at the Crowne Plaza Shijing Plaza and was genuinely pleased! Although the hotel isn't in the city center, it's located in Changsha County, and getting around is still pretty easy. It's about a 10-minute walk to the metro station, and less than half an hour by taxi to the airport. This makes it suitable for both business trips and weekend getaways. **The room was very comfortable** The front desk staff was incredibly nice and gave me a complimentary upgrade to a lake-view room. The window offered a stunning, expansive view directly overlooking Songya Lake. The room felt brand new, and the bed and pillows were so plush, I slept soundly. The ergonomic chair at the desk was very comfortable, making even late-night work feel less tiring. The bathroom had a smart wet/dry separation, and the shower boasted excellent water pressure. **The service was very attentive** All the staff were smiling and always offered a friendly greeting. When food delivery arrived at the front desk, they would call to confirm, which was both secure and reassuring. The staff member at the lounge was especially warm and welcoming. The welcome drink offered a choice of red wine or juice, which was a thoughtful touch. **Convenient for dining, entertainment, and activities** The breakfast spread was quite varied, offering both Chinese and Western options, and you could even enjoy authentic Changsha rice noodles. There's a shopping mall right downstairs from the hotel, so you don't have to go far for dining or shopping. In the evening, you can also take a leisurely stroll by the nearby Songya Lake, which offers beautiful scenery. Overall, this Crowne Plaza truly offers excellent value for money, with fantastic service and modern facilities. I would definitely consider staying here again on my next trip to Changsha!
