This hotel, renovated 25 years ago, was a favorite due to the positive reviews and was not disappointed. The decor is modern and stylish, and the surrounding amenities are excellent. Changsha's two major shopping malls, Desqin and Xingcheng Tiandi, are right next door, making it convenient for dining, drinking, and entertainment. The two front desk staff, Yingying and Lianlian, were very welcoming and highly recommended.

The hotel's ambiance, service, and breakfast are all excellent. The occupancy rate is quite high, as I prefer to avoid rooms at the front and back of the building. However, I sometimes check in late and find that there are no middle rooms available. The hotel isn't a single building, and the third, fourth, and fifth floors are occupied by shops. Therefore, rooms near the elevator can be quite quiet with people going up and down in the middle of the night. Furthermore, some rooms have windows that don't close properly, creating a noisy street view, which can be disruptive for those with trouble sleeping. The rooms also vary in subtle details. Some rooms include laundry detergent and disposable towels, while others don't. The bathroom, in particular, is separate and can sometimes smell unpleasant upon arrival. Facilities: Newly opened hotel, but the elevator is very slow and you need to swipe your card to get to the hotel floor. There is a gym, laundry room and lounge area in the lobby on the first floor of the hotel. The guest rooms have small refrigerators but are not plugged in. The TV can project the screen and there are electronic scales. Hygiene: Very poor, with a lot of dust and hair. The false eyelashes that the previous guest had put on were still on the shelf of the washbasin. The small round table and under the curtains in the guest room were the worst hit areas. After informing via WeChat, they said that I could upgrade the room, but it was not necessary. I cleaned it myself. After staying for two nights, they didn't change the bedding on the second day of cleaning, and there was still water in the toilet. Environment: Opposite the Women's University, not far from Desqin and Xingcheng Tiandi. The transportation is not very convenient. There is no subway nearby. There are construction sites nearby. The second and third floors are Internet cafes and billiard halls, which share an elevator and have a complicated staff. Service: We checked in in the afternoon, and the check-in service took a long time. We stood for a while before being guided to sit down and pour tea. We were not reminded of the free billiards and afternoon tea we ordered. Normally, there should be two pieces of mung bean cakes on the small round table in a room, but this one didn't have any. There were only a few tea candies. When I asked, I was told they didn't have any. However, the picture posted on the hotel's Moments still showed mung bean cakes. The next day, I asked about playing billiards and they said they would make an appointment for me. They told me on WeChat after the appointment. I waited from 2pm to 7pm but there was no contact. I asked on WeChat and they told me I could go directly. The service response is slow. The laundry room will help wash and dry clothes, and will fold them and send them back to the room using a robot. Manxiang Afternoon Tea: Four-square snacks and 2 tea drinks to choose from: It was delivered at 2 pm the next day, and there were shrimp chips, hawthorn cakes, small flower slices and cherry tomatoes, as well as a cup of tea, which was okay.

This time I stayed at the hotel and was really taken care of by the front desk staff. Yingying and Sisi were very considerate. They were very efficient when checking me in and patiently told me various things to pay attention to. If I had any problems during my stay, I would ask them to solve them immediately. Their warm service was superb. By the way, the hotel’s bathrobes are very comfortable!

The overall experience is very good and comfortable. If you take a shower with friends, you should be careful in this room. It is transparent. I live alone, so I just ignore it.
