Atour Hotel at Changsha IFS Metro Station

Great service and location — the front desk staff were very helpful and friendly. However, the air conditioning was a big issue. Even when we set it to cold air, it kept blowing hot air. When we called the front desk, they explained that the hotel uses a central air-conditioning system that only provides heating during the winter season — but it’s only October. They kindly brought us an air purifier and suggested we open the window, but only a small part of the window could open, and it didn’t help much. The room is very warm and stuffy and we couldn’t sleep at all due to the heat. Something to take note of if you’re visiting China during the colder months. Really need to check with the hotel directly before booking.
