Terrific spot in the old city next to the main attraction. Very quiet though. Easy to check in, all appliances worked, clean, no unnecessary gimmicks.

We have been traveling around Greece, getting mid-range apartments. I was really tired and disappointed with all the generic Ikea apartments we were in. Greece was renovating itself into blandness. But I didn't want my family staying in a crumbling mess. STOA Room 5 was perfect! Great condition, but had that romantic greek feeling. Lovely entrance, and small details in room like chandelier made me feel like I was travelling! Effeciency kitchen with sink, fridge, stocked cupboards. Could use small microwave.
Would book again in a heart beat for a longer stay. Communication was great, service wonderful. Felt like I was invited to stay in a Yia Yia's home and she left little candies all around for me.

Great little room for a get away! Was clean and had everything I needed. Also the staff were great and made it an easy check in and check out . Would recommend

La ville de la Canée n a hélas pas résisté a sa transformation : le centre-ville se résume hélas a un paysage bien désolant : - une infinité de tavernes commerciales, qui ont envahi le vieux port, et ou les Grecs ne vont bien sur pas - une quantité prodigieuse de magasins de "souvenirs" insipides, faits en Chine, a part peut-être le miel et l huile d olive (?) - un nombre phénoménal de vieilles maisons transformées en chambres a louer, avec l aubaine AirBnB ou Booking. Stoa Rooms, aussi connu comme "Chania Rooms", n échappe hélas pas a la règle. Le propriétaire, Iannis, est adorable. Hélas, la transformation de la maison n a pas prévu l insonorisation des 5 chambres a louer. Aussi, lorsqu' un client se met a parler a 3h30 du matin, ce qui fut notre cas, vous êtes réveillé (tout le monde), et obligé d appeler la police, car il n y a aucun employé sur place. C est dommage, car cela gâche tout. Nous l avons signifié au propriétaire : il n a pas réagi. "Cash is king..." Parfois, un vrai hôtel avec des chambres vraiment conçues pour la qualité de votre sommeil, cela vaut le coup. Et n oubliez pas que cette maison est très proche du port, animé non-stop, jour et nuit, donc très bruyant (sauf pendant les périodes de confinement).
