"Do not stay here. My partner and I traveled from Boston to Crete expecting a relaxing vacation, but our stay at Elia Sea Suites was one disappointment after another. One of the primary reasons we booked this property was the outdoor private hot tub. We paid extra for this room specifically because of that amenity. Upon arrival, the hot tub was cold and had not been turned on, requiring over 8 hours to heat before it could be used. Later in the stay, the water became extremely murky, dark, and dirty. We notified management, but it took over a day for the issue to be addressed. Even after it was serviced, the hot tub was left turned off and again required many hours to heat. Ultimately, we were without a properly functioning hot tub for four of our six nights despite paying a premium for this room. To make matters worse, there was active construction taking place directly next door to the hotel. Loud construction noise began around 7:00 AM each morning. At no point before arrival or during check-in were we informed of this. Had we known, we would have chosen a different property. Housekeeping was also inconsistent. On multiple occasions, used towels were removed without fresh towels being provided, dirty towels were left behind, and bed linens were not changed. Additionally, both my partner and I woke up with numerous unexplained bug bites after sleeping in the bed during our stay. What was most disappointing, however, was management's response. After returning home, I spent weeks attempting to resolve these concerns directly with the hotel. Responses were slow, often requiring repeated follow-ups, and the process was unnecessarily difficult from start to finish. The hotel's initial offer was simply a 20% discount on a future stay in Chania. After I explained that I live in the United States and had no plans to return, they revised the offer to a €165 refund—approximately 10% of our reservation value. This did not even cover the additional amount paid for the hot tub room and was less than the cost of a single night's stay, despite the fact that one of the primary amenities we paid for was unusable for most of our trip. When I respectfully explained why I believed the compensation was inadequate, management ultimately stopped responding altogether. Problems can happen at any hotel. What matters is how those problems are handled. Between the undisclosed construction, the hot tub issues, the housekeeping concerns, and management's slow responses, inadequate compensation, and eventual refusal to communicate, we left feeling that guest satisfaction was far less important than collecting payment."

"We went to Myrion with my spouse and my 70-year-old parents for a week vacation. Hotel is very modern, clean and has a beatiful pool area. Hotel also has some very pleasant scent we couldn't figure out where it came from. It was the first thing we noticed when we arrived at the lobby, and the same smell is all over the hotel's inside areas. I don't know how other guests feel about it, but we absolutely loved it! Breakfast and dinner were good and had a lot variety. I specially loved that there was a lot of healthy choices; different kind of salads, vegetables and fruits available. The only downside at breakfast was tea selection: there was none. I myself don't drink bagged tea, I only drink quality loose leaf tea, which was not in this hotel's selection. However, I was not surprised by this, since I am aware Greece is not a "tea drinking country". But it would have been nice to get quality tea in a quality establishment. Hotel's beach was small rock beach mixed with sand. Seawater looked clean, but unfortunately there was strong waves few days when we would have time to go swimming, so we couldn't really test this. Service in this hotel is excellent and the staff is very helpful. For example, we asked for car rental option from the reception and they gave us the choices of car selection, then made the the call to the rental company they are in cooperation with. The car was brought to the hotel the next day and returned the same way. This was very convenient, thank you for that! The gym at the hotel is very small, I would not go exercise with more than two or max three people at the same time. There were two treadmills, but neither of them worked properly two times i went to the gym. I couldn't figure out where the problem was and there was no staff at the spa reception at that time. Overall we were very pleased of our stay in Myrion. This was no doubt one of the best hotel's I have ever stayed. Thank you! And please, don't ever give up on the scent you have in your hotel :) I miss it already."

"My wife and I have tried a lot of hotels on Crete and now have finaly found our favorite! A lovely adults-only hotel close to the beach and centre of the village. The staff is exceptionally friendly and really cares about their guests. We had a room with private pool and enjoyed a relaxed bathe in the sun on the comfortable sundbed, followed by a cooling plunge in the privacy of our pool. Starting the day in the Autograph reetaurant with a delicious fully a la carte breakfast was a most relaxing experience. No queing, yet the full range of a buffet to choose from, everything served be the very iriendly staff at the table. The hotel, the beach area and all facilites were clean and well kept. We can certainly recommend the Hormony Boutique Hotel and have already booked our next stay."

"This stay in this hotel was extremely disappointing. We had expected a comfortable stay and booked three rooms for this purpose. However, from the first day of our stay, problems began to arise. First, the problem of the shower water was unbearable. We reported to the front desk that the shower water was very cold and not hot at all, but the response we received was just a casual "we will check it out". However, when we returned to the room that night, we found that the balcony door was not locked. We lived in a room on the second floor, and the balcony door was not locked, which made us extremely worried about the hotel's safety management. In addition, there were only sheets in the three rooms, but no quilts. We called the front desk and got the reply that the quilt was in the closet. We opened it and found that the quilt was a single quilt, which was not suitable for a king-size bed room. The towels in the room were also very dirty, which was obviously a serious neglect of hygiene standards. The next day, someone in the group had a fever, so we decided to communicate with the hotel for a refund. The front desk promised us that we would refund the room fee when we left, so we left with peace of mind. However, when Ctrip submitted a refund application, we were told that the hotel rejected the refund application and could only postpone the room to a later date. This kind of inconsistent behavior makes us seriously question the integrity of this hotel. In short, we strongly recommend other travelers to avoid this hotel when choosing accommodation to avoid similar bad experiences."

The location is a bit out of the way, but the environment is quite nice, the service is excellent, and the food in the hotel restaurant is also very good. It's great value for money. I unexpectedly celebrated my birthday at the hotel on the day I checked in. Because I arrived at the hotel quite late, I found a cake and champagne in my room when I returned the next day after going out. It was wonderful! 👍"

"The service was extremely poor, with absolutely no staff training and a complete lack of warmth (fake smiles). Overall, it didn't live up to the rating I saw when booking, and I was very disappointed. I waited a long time to check in after arriving at the hotel; the wake-up call service wasn't recorded (I requested it twice in advance to catch an early flight), and the front desk said they had no record of it; I was in a rush and couldn't sit down for breakfast, so I had to ask a staff member if I could bring coffee and a piece of bread, and they said no; upon check-in, I discovered the safe wasn't working, and they said someone would come to fix it, but no one did. I was so hungry that I went out to eat and then went back to fix it myself. In short, the staff was insufficient and unprofessional."

But most importantly, the staff of the hotel was highly professional and the nicest people! All of them were very good to us and treated us so well. "This was our second visit to Cavo Spada and we were made to feel as welcome as our first stay. Front desk and senior management are always very helpful and facilitated a room request for us. The Hotel Manager and Restaurant Manager, again - very welcoming. The hotel is on low levels so feels spacious and open. It is not in the centre of a resort but a semi short walk to local sandy beach at Kolymbari. Main buffet restaurant covers a wide range of foods for all preferences and lots of choices for all meals. Always kept topped us and warm. Lovely set of five very well behaved and clean ginger kittens came to play with those interested in stroking them. We ate lunch at Sealine three times during our stay, service and food all excellent. Pool bar team are amazing, helpful and work so hard. King prawn saganaki was very good. We also ate at the Azzuro restaurant, great very luxurious food. Quite rich so go with an empty stomach. Main bar has some great characters and again excellent service. We watched the England World Cup games in the main bar and the atmosphere was pleasantly competitive, we were in the minority but all nationalities were great fun. The room was a good size and cleaned daily. Mini bar - not included in all-inclusive, but no big deal as can get everything from the bars. Love this hotel and glad we found it, already booked to come back next year!"
