Gracefield Hall B&B

My wife and I stayed at the Gracefield Hall B & B on April 15th after riding the 34 miles of the VA Capital Trail from Richmond. The meticulously detailed and researched Colonial home that Larry & Patricia shared with us was truly a work of detail, passion, research and exactitude. Every small detail was planned during construction after years of volunteering with Colonial Williamsburg. It was spotless, comfortable, welcoming and most importantly relaxing. In the mountains on a quiet piece of solitude. We were fed a delicious full course lasagna meal ( upon request) and an equally delicious breakfast. My only regret is not staying longer. I truly cannot say enough. Especially if you are riding the VA Capital Trail, and enjoy colonial history or architecture. We will be back!

The leaves on the trees were changing color which made the forest around the grounds even more beautiful! Patricia and Larry were so knowledgeable about the surrounding area and the history of Williamsburg, Jamestown, and York Town. The breakfast varied and was fabulous every morning! We never left hungry heading out on our adventure for the day. So much history to see in the nearby area - and the wineries were also an unexpected treat. We will definitely go back!

Patricia and Larry were so welcoming, our stay surpassed our expectations. The attention to detail to the property and how accommodating to our needs and schedule was perfect. Breakfast was delicious and such a warm, inviting environment. We will definitely be coming back here next time we’re in the area.

Gracefield Hall Bed n Breakfast. Larry and Patricia were wonderful hosts. The value for this step back into coastal colonial times, so worth it! Beautiful accommodations, clean, country, safe. About 20 min to Colonial trifecta. Both are a wealth of information about the sites. Breakfast was delish and made to order! Great attention to detail to make you feel welcome.

Where to start? Here at this place would be a great idea. What a wonderful experience with Larry and Patricia and Bristol. For starters the grounds are gorgeous along with the Colonial style house that they custom built several years ago. And when I say custom I mean from the ground up. They literally designed it and built it from wooded forest land to what it is now. What it is now is the BEST Bed and Breakfast you can imagine. The place is squeaky clean, the ambience is perfect, the location amazing, and the proprietors super. The breakfast was truly delicious and Bristol the rescue Malamute is a love bug who appreciates any extra head scratches you might have.

Breakfast was delicious and plentiful. Hosts were attentive and gracious. The room was lovely.

We’re well tailored to our interests. The breakfasts were delicious! They were always willing to accommodate us with tea and snacks throughout the day. The period details of the home were excellent, and the condition of the building was perfect. We highly recommend them!
