Stay Express Inn Chattanooga

Rooms were beautiful, clean and comfortable, the neighborhood is great, but the 4 people I interacted with during my stay were there absolute best! Highly highly recommended! I'm not a guy that leaves reviews, but this is well deserved! Stay and see for yourself!

BEWARE!!!! The cleanliness ratings and ratings over all didn't lead me to expect a roach motel. The renovations were great but despite "clean surfaces", we saw the first roach running across it as soon as we stepped in, and two more on more investigation. A sign at the entry indicated wi-fi might be spotty due to "inclement weather" but despite the weather being fine, there was no wi-fi available in the room to find another motel for the night when we decided we couldn't sleep with the bugs and little curlies stuck in the sheets. The parking lot in the back where we were assigned was super scary. The reception area at night is barricaded with plexiglass and a little window. I should have dug deeper into reviews that recounted the same experiences. Don't be fooled by the discounts and high scores! We left, no refund, and found another chain motel in the area and slept comfortably but out our reservation. BEWARE!!!

Dirty and creepy rooms. Criminal activity in the parking lot. Spend the extra money and go down the street.

The room was comfortable but has bugs. Dirty chairs, stained towels and I could smell the last person who slept in the bed. Still, I got a good nights sleep and that was all I was really looking for.

The first room had a strange odor, so I asked and was moved to another room. However, I woke up to find a roach on the pillow... I was thinking to go back to a major chain hotel for future trips. I lost sleep worrying about roaches. I could have slept better had I spent a bit more and stayed somewhere else. Do not stay here.

Had to pay $3 cash bc they don’t do housekeeping. The fire alarm went off at 1 am bc someone in another room started a fire. Tried to call front desk- phone doesn’t work. Fire trucks and police sirens ALL. NIGHT. LONG. Large space at the bottom of the door to the outside. Beds were comfy.

My husband and I booked a stay to participate with our daughter for the Head of Hooch Rowing activities that took place over this weekend. The room was not what was advertised online. Room had no carpets, toilet paper roll was almost finished, no housekeeping, the WiFi and tv remote would not work properly, and worst of all there were roaches in the room. We were disgusted however had to ride it of because of local availability. The fire alarm went off at 1am due to negligence in the front. We were over it and checked out with no sleep to drive 8 hours home. This was a horrible experience!!!!!

This remodel result is probably one of the cleanest rooms i e stayed in a long time. I wish i knew to bring my own hair dryer. Otherwise it was perfect.

Not bad. The rooms were clean. I didn’t see any bugs as other comments have mentioned. My only complaint would be the toilet seats were too small for the toilet and not affixed properly. Overall a decent place to stay if you’re driving through.
