This is a review of the restaurant as there is no other place to offer direct feedback. We wanted to enjoy our evening out and thought it would be great at sunset on the water. However, the hostesses were snarky and we didn’t see our server for at least 15 minutes after being seated. We ordered what we thought would be quick and easy but took an hour to arrive. During this time the kitchen staff came out to do shots at the bar and the band packed up after one brief set. The food (mahi and shrimp tacos) that eventually came was cold and tasted like cardboard. The food was actually horrible. Totally flavorless. We were overcharged for the food because of a ‘glitch’ in the system, which was kindly resolved by the owner. But it was really overpriced for what it was. We did enjoy the beer and the sunset! But this place was a mistake.

This review is about the restaurant and wanted to post something but they are not listing the restaurant for reviews. Overall a very nice addition to the area. Very nice building/restaurant and bar on the beach (didn't get there and they shut it down after sunset). Our waitress Alicia H was stellar in every aspect of the service. I ordered the Drift bacon burger with the bacon sauce on the side. The burger did not come with any bacon nor did they remember to bring the "bacon jam" on the side. Taste of the burger was soso especially at $19.00. One friend had the teriyaki salmon and gave it rave reviews in spite of the fact that the portion for $28.00 wasn't that great. As we sat there we saw at numerous times being set out to be picked up but it sat there for long periods of time. When I got mine the fries were luke warm. All in all the staff was very pleasant and we had a nice evening with 6 friends. One suggestion as the place is listed as a "beach resort" would be to have the same beverages available inside that are available at the outside bar, especially beach type frozen drinks.

From help with our luggage to the comfort of our bed, our stay at Hideaway Bay Resort was spectacular in every way. Our villa was chic and comfortable. The beach was lovely and drinks at the beach bar were great. Dinner at the Drift was fabulous and we topped our day off with a stint in the wood fired hot tub. Perfection! Can't wair to go back!

My husband and I stayed at Hideaway Bay Resort for the weekend, and it was an unforgettable experience! The staff is incredible, thinking of everything and catering to our every need with genuine care, attention, and passion. The food was excellent, and our room was perfect – elegant, clean, and with a beautiful view unlike anything else in Western New York. The view was truly stunning! Can’t wait to come back!!

We had cocktails and a great lunch on the beach with a fun DJ playing great music in the background. Was an amazing afternoon! The staff was super attentive and the bungalows are adorable. You need to spend some time here! This new resort reminds me of being in the Caribbean. Congrats to the new owners of a great beach resort!!!🤩

Amazing!We had a great time!! You feel like you have entered a tropical paradise! The owners could not have been anymore welcoming and hospitable!! The rooms were awesome, the drinks were great, the food was delicious, the smores too! We will be back!
