ZMAX Manxi Hotel (Chengdu Kuanzhai Alley)

I wrote a review for this hotel on the way to Chongqing: A very warm hotel with a really good service attitude. I contacted the hotel before arriving to see if I could upgrade the room type. The front desk agreed very readily. There were problems during my stay, and the front desk solved them in a timely manner. It seemed as if they remembered us when they passed by the lobby. Thanks to the bespectacled lady on duty on the night of April 24 for preparing earplugs for us, which solved the problem of noise outside. Although there was still sound, the details were very heartwarming and thoughtful. The breakfast was also good. There were not many varieties, but it was very distinctive and well-designed. The layout was simple and generous, and the overall use was very smart and convenient. The hygiene was very clean. We were given souvenirs when we checked out. Thank you for the warm reception of the hotel staff and the service provided to us. The trip to Chengdu was very pleasant. Thanks again to the staff Xiao Chen and Xiao Wen for the gift 🎁. I will choose your hotel when I come to Chengdu in the future!

I am very satisfied with this accommodation experience and highly recommend it to friends coming to Chengdu. The hotel is full of modern design~ Every detail of the room is in place, with full voice control, specially scented toiletries, and instant hot water kettle. The bedding is also very clean and comfortable. The hotel is in a very good location, within walking distance to Kuanzhai Alley, and there are many restaurants and small supermarkets around. The most important thing is the considerate and gentle hotel staff, who prepared tea and fruits for us as soon as we arrived. Special thanks to Miss Dai at the front desk, who always kept a sweet smile and provided us with a lot of help!

The location of the hotel is very convenient. The rooms are compact but well-equipped. The hygiene is relatively good. The overall feeling is very good. I will consider staying in this hotel next time I come to Chengdu.

The trip went well. The hotel is clean and the staff very pleasant. On the other hand, the layout of the hotel and the room are not well thought out: - breakfast is at reception, with the comings and goings (= opening and closing of doors), there are lots of drafts. And it was super cold in the morning... Plus the breakfast was only Chinese. - the room was too automated: everything is regulated via wall controls but they are not easy to use. - the sink is right at the entrance to the room, which is annoying - there was a leak in the shower (which overlooks the entrance), we reported it to the receptionist twice. I think silicone sealant was reapplied, but there was still a small puddle. - the WC and the bedroom are separated by a tinted window, you can still see the colors and shapes, it's a little annoying. In addition, there is an automatic light when you enter the toilet. When children are sleeping, it may wake them up. In short, I still give it 4 stars because the staff was very helpful and the location was great.

An excellent modern hotel with first-class services and facilities. The ladies at the front desk were warm and friendly, which made me have a very satisfying trip here.
