Pimann Inn Hotel

Dirty, lack of maintenance. I spent the first few nights killing small cockroaches, and since the place is dirty, it's an ideal place for them to proliferate. There are also countless crevices where they can lay their eggs. Plus, they have a food buffet that can be found behind and under the furniture, among the dust, scraps of paper and condoms, and food waste left by previous guests. Torn and stained sheets, windows that don't close, the supply of toilet paper was really limited, and there's no kettle in the room unless requested. After noticing all this, I didn't get angry and went to reception to report the incident politely and calmly. They offered to change rooms, but I declined because, if this is the level of cleanliness and attention, a different room wouldn't have made any difference. I just asked for more effort in cleaning and maintenance. The next day the cleaner came by to do her chores, and the result was: she left the room dirty, forgot the toilet paper and there were not even any towels, she only gave it a light dusting, made the bed and put the bottles of water and intimate cleansing products in the bathroom. When I saw the result, despite my complaints, I went to the cleaner and asked for what was missing. I also borrowed the broom and started cleaning the room myself. I swept all the dust I'd accumulated into the hallway outside the room, which I found annoying throughout my stay. I didn't go to the front desk again because I don't like being ignored. I recommend paying more attention to cleanliness and upkeep, as it's an older building, which is a shame because they have a nice gym with a variety of equipment. Another flaw with this hotel is the service they offered me with the scooter rental. Had I stayed elsewhere, I would have found newer scooters for the same price; I speak from experience. In conclusion, I travel a lot and have stayed in many hotels, each with their own standards, but this was the most disappointing. Ps ... I could say more but I've gone on too long

I had essentially booked this hotel for the "pool & fitness" area, which allowed me to chill and kill the time after checking out while waiting for my evening flight on my last day in Thailand and, I have to say, it was a great choice. Apart from that, the wifi connection in my room was very poor as well as the "included" breakfast: you have to add on to have some eggs, otherwise you'll only get very basic things (rice, noodles, etc... and no vegetarian options). No kettle in the room either and they wouldn't even give me some hot water at the reception when asked for it, sadly...

This time book hotel rooms for a group of our friends over 20 rooms. The hotel location is good and with basic facilities for guests. Actually, it is a budget hotel which we understand and accepted but the hotel not good to claim us make room dirty and provide incorrect edvidence to charge us. I cross checked with our guests and think it's not our booked rooms and housekeeper make mistake. By experience, the second time check-in, we ask our guest make sure not problem in their rooms. But found dirty sheet in a room prepared for guest use. I query housekeeper not profession to reuse dirty sheet again.

Some front desk staffs happy in service customer, but no everyone.  I would think the room should have a microwave and a kettle incase customer have food take out From dinner meal then they can heat up to eat that leftover food .

Chiang Rai is an amazing place, pimann in is close to everything and at a very reasonable price
