Great location from the touristy spots, would have loved it if complimentary water was provided, service is great and staff are friendly

Clean room and good location.

Location was good. 30 mins walk to most places in South Loop and the McCormick place. Might be due to manpower issues, room were not made up for entire duration of the stay.

The hotel is in a very good location. The room faces Lake Michigan, and the view outside the window is unbeatable. The room is clean and comfortable, and the bedding is comfortable.

The room was not cleaned on the first day, nor on the second day. The front desk asked and was told that there was a shortage of staff. After strong requests, they finally cleaned the room on the third day. The air conditioner in the room was very noisy, and the refrigerator was also very noisy.

It's OK, the scenery is good, and you can see the night view through the floor-to-ceiling glass windows.

I saw that there are still reviews, so I thought I could give a reminder to those who stay later. During our stay, we encountered a terrifying incident where the door of the room was opened by an outsider. We complained to the front desk, but the front desk was perfunctory and said that they could check the camera. After a terrifying night, we decisively checked out the next day. There was no explanation when we checked out, let alone an apology.

The facilities nearby are complete and the price is very reasonable in Chicago. The South Loop is also a good area. However, don't take the nearby subway. It's best to use Uber.

Unfortunately, the visa card could not be used that day. We asked for a cash deposit, but they refused to agree. They said that we could not stay without a card. They asked us to leave and refused to let us stay. There are obviously many rooms in the hotel. The staff thought that our English was not good and offered to upgrade the room. The price of the upgraded room reached 65 US dollars per night, while the original room was only more than 160 per night. We did not understand it very well, so he kept talking. Later, we could only say yes, so the card was charged in the end. No wonder we did not agree to cash as a deposit.

The floor-to-ceiling windows are spacious and bright, with good night and daytime lake views!
