Hotel Pratap Palace

We spent one night here the room was not prepared for 3 and was quite dusty on arrival although the room itself appears quite nice it has ***y faults: - broken toilet seat - shower with no curtain so bathroom floor flooded - no fridge - no safe - kettle nowhere near a plug - no hot water - cracked cups - light plugs hidden behind bed so searching for them for ages The view of the fort would have been nice but the 3 large bees nests and swarms outside the window were pretty worrying for me! The third bed was in the window seat so a great view of the bees... There is a lift from floor 1 which is a death trap but not from the ground so you will need luggage assistance. WiFi is intermittent. We had to eat at the restaurant because there was no options nearby. The food is more expensive and the water is ridiculous at 100 Rs everywhere else it's 20 or 50. 500Rs for a bottle of beer. We shared a chow mein and chicken dish between 3 which was more than enough. One of the group was unwell overnight. They tried to overcharge us but we noticed the bill...hence no tip. The breakfast..well..it wasn't even ready at 8.05 and it was appalling cereal with hot milk inedible, greasy black omelette inedible, no clue on how to make coffee we had to teach them i.e. they forgot the hot water..only edible thing was toast and banana..to top it off I saw a huge mouse run across the restaurant. The swimming pool was filthy and unusable. The staff were unprofessional and lacked any direction they need to be trained. They were totally clueless and just hovering around fussing with 3 of them trying to do the same thing badly. This is a no smoking hotel but the first floor absolutely stank of stale smoke. This could be a fantastic hotel but it is not maintained in any sort of fashion and needs a lot of work.

It was a stay with school students. Photos of the hotel is very good. But condition of the rooms are horrible. Rooms were not cleaned and staff people were horrible. Every corner of the hotel was untidy. They gave the excuse that staff are not listening the instructions. They gave used soaps and shampoo bottle.

Best hotel in Chittorgarh city to stay ,,,,,,, Front Desk was very helpful and knows professio.....Mr Shainndra took extra care of us and made arrangements f,,as we are supposed to early che out.. . Keeping staff was also helpful...very near to Fort and Railway Station

We have 2 days stay in Partap palace chittorgarh.service are good both of house keeping and service. At front desk Uday Singh are nice person and house keeping side ***ju are really hard working girl.

Our stay at Pratap Palace from 8th to 9th January this year was amazing. It was a wonderful experience. Very humble, friendly and helpful staff. Best services. Food is very nice and homely. Room size is very good. Overall a great experience and would highly recommend this property in Chittorgarh. God bless.

Hotel Pratap Palace! A place that calls itself a heritage hotel, but is everything a heritage hotel is NOT!! First things first... For readers and people looking at booking a place for stay, please do a basic research (which I missed), check reviews before u make your final booking......Our experience with the hotel was disappointing and awfully sad.... 1. We were initially allotted room 313, 2nd floor with non-working AC 2. No lift in the property. So families traveling with elders, be aware. 3. Toilet was miniature, with bath area and toilet area interchanged! As a result, the water through the bathroom door, seeped through the door, into the room, as you step out after a bath. Thank your stars if you can ***age getting out without a Humpty Dumpty fall! 4.No, they do not have a floor mat outside the bathroom to arrest the water from the bathroom. 5. They do not provide drinking water. Neither do they tell you that it's charged. They inform while u pay the final bill. 6. The breakfast here is a scam. Close to NIL options. Had to keep asking for even tea!!! Overload of salt in omelette.(how tough is it to get an omelette right!!) 7. Breakfast done and we're led to a washbasin that's stained in red and leftovers of previous day food all over. (I cringe even at the thought of it). On asking, the sweeper is yet to come and clean it(time is crossed 9.00 a.m. ) 8. The bathroom wall(after room was shifted to 311) had a huge hole under the wash basin that opened into the sky!! So the bathroom has billions of insects and of all sizes to welcome us at night. How thrilling! After this experience, our group (2 families of 3 members each) was more than relieved to leave from this hotel, never ever wanting to return, even if we're given free accommodation and food!!!
