This is the perfect place to stay if you want to explore Tawa Tawa and Puelo valley. Everything is perfect! You feel like home away from home. The staff is really personable and on top of every single detail. The rooms are really comfortable and the food is great. Their knowledge of the area is quite amazing. They will help you get the best of your stay with personalized activities. A true gem!

Absolutely gorgeous setting and outstanding staff. Food was delicious and portions generous. We went on a river trip and some hikes. You can also fish and ride horses in the area. Do not skip the hot tub experience (followed by a lake cold plunge) We will definitely be back!

This is a special spot, incredible views from the rooms and the lodge. Could not get enough of the lake and river. Great access to adventuras, and Tawa Refuge has one of the best, and fairly untrampled hikes we've ever done-- gradual climb, amazing waterfalls, and other world landscapes. Food was great, staff was super attentive, I and was able to disconnect fully for the first time in years, even though the wifi is perfect. Only eight rooms but the amenities of a full resort. Will be back, only 10,000 miles away.

It was such an amazing experience! The landscape and views were insane, also the accommodation was very good. We had time to relax, connect with nature and awesome adventures. Finally, the team was super nice! Definitely We will come back soon. 10/10

Our stay at Tawa Refugio del Puelo was perfection!! We booked the Full Excursion experience @ Tawa for our group of eight: 2 families of four with children aged 17 to 22. We all loved Tawa!! Everything about our stay was wonderful. The rooms and lodge were simply beautiful, perched on the rivers edge, with incredible views all around. The meals were delicious. Every day was filled with a new and wonderful experience - beautiful hike with a swim in a glacial lake, horseback riding, kayaking, boating, fishing, hot tubs, and a visit to a local hot spring. Our daily guides, Diego and Manuel, were genuine, warm, kind, and fun. Martin, the owner, and his team made every day and experience feel incredibly special. There were thoughtful surprises at every turn, from a beautiful lamb roast on an open fire at the rivers edge to an impromptu picnic break on our kayaking trip. Their enthusiasm for sharing the beauty of Chile was contageous. It was hard to say goodbye to Tawa and their amazing team. We left feeling well cared for, with a true love for Chile, and that we were leaving new friends behind.

We stayed at TAWA during the Christmas week holiday with another family. We each had college aged kids with us. We cannot say enough about the hospitality and generosity of the staff of TAWA. The resort itself is stunning built into the side of the lake capturing all of its natural beauty. Each room has simple elegance with comfortable beds, luxurious showers and spectacular views of the rivers and mountains. Our guides, Diego and Manuel, were incredible and showed us all of the secrets of the Puelo valley. We hiked to a stunning mountain lagoon, rode horses, kayaked, fished and learned all about stunning area. They took care of everything and their love of the area was contagious. A highlight was a traditional lamb roast with all of the fixings prepared in the forest. We also visited an amazing hot springs and the guides and hotel prepared many special surprises for us. The owner, Martin, is very involved and made sure there were well taken care of. The food is rustic and freshly prepared with a staff that is gracious and kind. We have never experienced this level of originality and hospitality. We hope that everyone can visit this Chilean treasure!

Amazing place! This would typically be worth at least 1k a night anywhere else. Architecturally stunning, food to die for, amazing service.. and the nature- breathtaking. I went with my two children. We ate incredibly well, went to the nearby hotsprings and on an amazing fishing expedition. And the hot tubs outside!!

We had an absolutely fantastic time at Tawa ! The location is stunning, the architecture stylish and relaxing and the staff were so friendly and helpful. The team organised a brilliant day of boat trips, horse riding and fishing with a lunch including salmon cooked on an open fire.
