Really enjoyed my time at Banksia Motel, the staff are lovely and really helpful, there is also a super friendly caretaker available on-site 24hrs. Nothing is too much trouble for these guys. It’s nice and quiet and located just off the main road, two minutes from local shops and theres a great pub just across the road that does really good meals. Overall the motel has a really nice feel about it. There is secure parking with easy access, the rooms are spacious, tastefully decorated and super clean. Beds are really comfy. There’s a fully equipped gymnasium and a great outdoor pool/barbecue area, the gardens are lovely and the free continental breakfast each day is great. Awesome little place to stay and awesome value for money, would definitely recommend and will definitely be back. Thanks Banksia Motel

Our stay was very enjoyable and the facilities were very good. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable and serviced daily. The location was perfect and within walking distance of the town. The staff were very helpful and engaging. Wifi worked very well. Parking was available within the premises.

The only reason I’m giving 4 instead of 5 stars is because the motel doesn’t have a restaurant. In all other respects the Banksia exceeded expectations. Location: very close to the centre of town but because it is set back from the main road our stay was very quiet. Room: was really spacious, well serviced, clean and we’ll decorated. Carpets on the floors help the overall feel. Staff very friendly and helpful - the desk is not manned 24hrs, but there is someone available at regular times. The pool area is really good, with enough loungers and a barbecue area and is screened well by the hedging surrounding it. Plates and cutlery are available from the breakfast room. We stayed as part of a vacation - lots to see and do around Collie and would want to stay nowhere else.

I rang to make a booking and the manager was very helpful over the phone. I mentioned I just had a hip replacement and couldn’t climb stairs so she put me in the disabled room with walk-in shower. Checkin friendly and easy. Room was lovely and spacious. Bathroom was also spacious and had plenty of toiletries. Both rooms spotless. The breakfast room was lovely and the continental breakfast that was supplied had a great selection of things to choose from. This property inside and out is very well maintained and clean. Also in a very quiet area. Parking outside your room. Thank you for a great stay.,

Great place to stay, rooms are spacious and very clean, beds are very comfy, close to shops and amenities, staff are very friendly and service was great,lots of walking tracks nearby and great pubs which are in walking distance just in case you have a few to many and of course if you get a little hungry, they have a great size pool and a mini gym area I would certainly stay here again and would recommend it to travelers passing through, I'm from Melbourne here on a Holiday and would stay here again, oh and its reasonably priced as well, I give it five stars,

Friendly front desk lady and that's as good as it gets, 0 water pressure tried to fill the big bath but water was cold by the time it got 2inches filled which took about an hour and had to run around in the shower to get wet,

We chose to stay at this motel on our recent overnight stay in Collie. Of all the places i have stayed in during my travels in W.A. this would have to be one of the best. Clean, tidy and comfortable. Had just recently been renovated with new carpets. The whole place had a good feel about it. There was a " NO VACANCIES " sign up but when we went for breakfast we didn't see anyone. Strange. The continental breakfast was good and thanks to Annie for your service and conversation. Highly recommended.

We stayed overnight in a room near the pool. The rooms are all very tidy and clean. The best is amongst the most comfortable I’ve slept in. Breakfast was simple but hearty. The pool looked great- I only wished I had time to make use of it. Will be back for sure. Won’t bother staying anywhere else in collie in future. The only gripe was it was a Saturday night and all the patrons of the pub across the way had parked in the motel parking bays and we couldn’t get one.
